Off down to the rooms and the press conferences now so that is it from me.
Good night.
The mercy rule otherwise known as the siren has sounded and Richmond's torment for this night is over. That is now six losses on the trot for the Tigers.
Hawthorn won by 46 in the end after a nine goal to three last quarter. That is a thorough job in he end - 21 goals kicked, giving up just 13 the other way.
For all of Richmond's pep it is a belting.
Sure they will lament the fact they missed Rance and Cotchin, but this was a Hawthorn side without Hodge, Mitchell, Roughead or Frawley.
If Richmond had sustained four quarters instead of three. Indeed if they sustained each quarter unti lthe end and still lost narrowly then there would have been merit in he defeat, but it felt like a meek finish when Hawthorn came at them and there were so few prepared to be brave as they had been in the first three quarters.
Perhaps that was a class difference but it was a callow Hawthorn side yet they showed maturity.
Josh Gibson was as influential as any player on the ground. In that third term when Richmond was stretching them and the Haws could not win clearances it was Gibson who swept behind the ball and steadied the game.
Breust finished with six goals yet weirdly he had a chunk of the game through the second and third quarters when he was barely sighted. That is the lot of the small forward I suppose. Puopolo felt like he was more threatening for longer periods of the game yet Breust got the goals.
That small forward pairing - and Cyril's feathery hamstrings holding together - has enabled the exciting Cyril to spend longer through the middle of the ground where his clean hands are cleaner and his vision sharper than others.
Billy Hartung had probably his best game for the Hawks finishing the game with 28 touches being back in the side after being dropped last week.
Isaac Smith was industrious with 25 and eight clearances.
Martin with 28 touches 15 contested possessions and six clearances was the Tigers best but he faded in the last.
Interestingly Gunston was good for the Hawks, a presence throughout who booted four goals but he was opposed to the much shorter Jake Batchelor.
Hardwick dropped David Astbury for this game which meant they were always going to be undersized behind the ball. Chaplin had to cover either of the two rucks McEvoy or Ceglar when they rotated through the forward line. Hardwick was clearly troubled by Astbury's leg speed with Chaplin also slow but the height difference was important.
Nick Vlastuin was good for teh Tigers after being given licence to play on the ball. In a season that is drifting quickly for the tigers it would appear a worthwhile investment in time to keep Vlastuin on the ball.
Hawks
Breust boots another. That's his sixth. And another ripping crumbing goal.
Just remember this. Richmond was two goals up in the third term. Hawthorn have now kicked nine goals in the last quarter

Breust kicks his fifth. Front and centre and quick goal.
Hawks by 46 with a minute and a half to go
Hawks goal. Breust. First he missed it, on he goal line when the ball skewed the wrong direction under pressure. He had time to chase down his own kick before it went out of bounds, pick it up and curl in a goal.
Breust goes back for seconds and delivers! #AFLTigersHawks https://t.co/bgHqRbax8k

Richmond has surrendered in this last quarter. All that was there to like about them in the first three quarters has evaporated in the last.

Blowing out now. Hartung goal and it is out to a 40 point lead
Hawks goal.
Burgoyne arches the back and finds space through a crowd and long ball forward where Gunston takes the front position on Batchelor marks and goals.
Batchelor only stands 188cms to Gunston's 193cms. Big ask for him to be standing the Hawks best tall forward.

Richmond turnover - the pass to Riewoldt hung in he air too long and allowed Gibson to close in with the punch and rebound for Smith to sweep a long sht from outside 50 on the run
That's another six unanswered goals for the Hawks for the second time in the match .

James Sicily curls in goal after turnover in the middle of the ground. Grigg tried to get the ball on quickly with a handball to Martin but Burgoyne was able to grab the arm to interrupt the handball which spilt free and was quickly forward for Sicily who was unlucky not to get a 50 metre penalty as well from McIntosh's late arrival.

Shiels on the end of a chain of play that began in Richmond's backline after the ball bubbled about threatening a Tigers goal. A big heavy tackle from McEvoy of Martin was crucial in stopping the Tiger snap for goal.

Hawthorn have had 53 more uncontested possessions which could be telling if they can continue to deny Richmond the ball
THREE QUARTER TIME
The third quarter was like the first where the Tigers dominated around the ball winning all the clearances to be absolutely in control and peppering the scoreboard to take a lead.
Hawthorn eventually just get themselves into hte play, a ball falls for them here such as the McIntosh spoil which fell for Puopolo, and they make their own luck such as Ceglar sitting in front for a ball that popped out and fell short from a contest at the end of the term.
Martin is clearly the best on ground despite his team trailing with Vlastuin also playing well, and Dean Rioli has done some clever things for the Tigers.
Hartung has been prolific for the Hawks but Rioli's cleanness around the ball always elevates him and Gunston is a constant threat near to goal stretching the Tigers defenders. Gibson has been far better after the first term and he was important in the Hawks ability to win back the ball in defence during that early Tigers parry and then set up the rebound up the ground.
Ceglar goal deep in time on before three quarter time. And again the Tigers give up goals or the Hawks claim goals depending on how you look at it late in quarters.
The Hawks have now booted the last three goals in each of the first three quarters.
