Thakur Shamsher Singh lives a wealthy life that is funded chiefly by criminal activities such smuggling and dealing in drugs. He has never been arrested as he has several high-ranking politicians and Police Officials on his 'payroll'. When an Editor of a newspaper exposes him, he has the entire family ruthlessly killed. When he finds out that Superintendent of Police Kundan Singh has been transferred from Delhi especially to apprehend him, he initially befriends him, but when he finds out that Kundan cannot be brought, he concocts a devious plot that will ensnare Kundan, his wife, Parvat, pet dog and monkey - so that he can continue to remain the uncrowned king of the underworld.

Kundan setting is the technique most closely associated with the jewelled arts of the Mughal emperors. By using pure, soft, 24-carat gold (kundan), the goldsmith can set gemstones directly into fragile enamelled surfaces or into engraved gem materials, such as nephrite jade and rock crystal. This film, shot in workshops in Mumbai and Jaipur, shows a jewellery craftsman kundan setting diamonds in an enamelled gold earring.

Kundan
Kundan is a traditional form of Indian gemstone jewellery involving a gem set with gold foil between the stones and its mount, usually for elaborate necklaces. The method is believed to have originated in the royal courts of Rajasthan and Gujarat. It is the oldest form of jewellery made and worn in India. The word kundan means highly refined gold, and a highly refined and pure form of molten gold is used.
Kundan, also known as Bikaneri or Jaipuri jewellery, is a popular variation, wherein enameling with vivid colours and designs is on the reverse, while the kundan setting is in the front. The city of Jaipur in Rajasthan has traditionally been the centre for Kundan jewellery in India.
History
Kundan flourished under royal patronage during the Mughal era. Over the years, the Kundan jewellery of the courts was successfully copied in silver in Rajasthan, Bihar and the Punjab and became popular with the common man.
It remains an integral part of the traditional bridal wedding trousseau. Traditional settings, including the thappa and ras rawa, are experiencing a revival. Most recently, in the 2008 epic film, Jodhaa Akbar, the lead character portrayed by Aishwariya Rai was extensively shown wearing Kundan jewellery, highlighting its influence among Rajasthani royalty.

Bappi Lahiri (Born Alokesh Lahiri on 27 November 1952) is a music composer in the Indian film industry. He popularized the use of synthesized disco music in Indian cinema and sang some of his own compositions. He was popular in the 1980s and 1990s with filmi soundtracks like Wardat, Disco Dancer, Namak Halaal, Dance Dance, Commando, Gang Leader, Sailaab and Sharaabi among others.
Bappi Lahiri joined BJP in 2014. He was declared a BJP candidate from Srirampur in West Bengal for the Indian general election, 2014 and lost.

Early years
Bappi D. Lahiri was born in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. His parents, Aparesh Lahiri and Bansari Lahiri both from Jalpaiguri, West Bengal were famous Bengali singer and musician in classical music and Shyama Sangeet. He is their only child.

Sohrab Modi
Sohrab Modi (1897–1984) was an Indian Parsi stage and film actor, director and producer. His films include Khoon Ka Khoon (1935), a version of Shakespeare's Hamlet, Sikandar, Pukar, Prithvi Vallabh, Jhansi ki Rani, Mirza Ghalib, Jailor and Nausherwan-E-Adil (1957). His films always carried a message of strong commitment to social and national issues.
Early life
Sohrab Merwanji Modi was born 2 November 1897 in Bombay. After finishing school, he became travelling exhibitor in Gwalior with his brother Keki Modi. At 16 he used project films in Gwalior's Town Hall and at 26 set up his Arya Subhodh Theatrical Company. Sohrab began as a Parsi theatre actor with some experience in silent films. He earned quite a reputation as a Shakespearean actor, travelling throughout India with his brother's theatrical company and enjoying the tremendous sense of fulfillment every time the curtain came down and the audience applauded. However, with the advent of the sound film in 1931, theatre was declining. To rescue this dying art, Modi set up the Stage Film Company in 1935. His first two films were filmed versions of plays. Khoon Ka Khoon (1935) was an adaptation of Hamlet and marked Naseem Bano's acting debut. The second, Said-e-Havas (1936) was based on Shakespeare's King John. Both films failed.

Plot: Dinanath is a school-teacher in a small town in India, and lives with his wife, Kamla; daughter, Shanti; and son Kundan. He has published a book called "Daata" in which he has made reference to all major religions of the world, and is honored for this contribution by none other than the President of India through Education Minister, Raja Suraj Singh. He arranges the marriage of Shanti to the son of Gopaldas, when Gopaldas demands dowry he is unable to afford this, and states that he has given sufficient gold and jewelery to Shanti. The gold turns out to be fake, as a result the marriage is canceled, Shanti kills herself, Dinanath dies of a heart attack. His name tarnished, no one comes forward to help Kundan or his mother. Plot: Vijay Gupta lives a wealthy lifestyle in Bombay along with his businessman dad, Dwarkadas, and housewife mom, Laxmi. He is used to a comfortable, irresponsible and extravagant lifestyle much to his dad's displeasure. When Vijay gets their family car in an accident, his dad forbids him to drive again, but his mom buys him another car. Vijay accepts a challenge from his friend, Harishchandra, and both race their respective vehicles from Bombay to Lonavla. On the way back, Vijay runs over two men, Raghunath and his brother, Kishen, fails to stop, and returns home. Raghunath passes away, Kishen loses his vision due to a retinal detachment, and subsequently the Police arrive at the Gupta residence to arrest Vijay, but their servant, Kundan, accepts responsibility, is arrested, tried in Court, and imprisoned. Dwarkadas is very upset, arguments ensue, Vijay leaves the house, but his mother locates him and gives him her Cheque book. They had planned their son's marriage with Madhu, who lives a wealthy lifestyle on a farm in Khandala along with her dad, Kamal, but now must inform Kamal that Vijay has run away, and may never return home. The question remains where is Vijay and what lesson has he learned from his past experiences?

Plot: Raja Bahadur rules his region, although fully aware that his days as King are numbered. When his brother, Suraj, returns from abroad, Bahadur decides to withhold this information from him. But Hiralal wakes up, calls for help and for the police, and one of Bahadur's men is arrested. When Bahadur finds out that the police have traced him to his house, Suraj decides to take the rap for him, is arrested and imprisoned. On Suraj's return, Bahadur announces his marriage to Rekha, Hiralal's daughter. The problem is that Suraj and Rekha love each other, and the question is will Suraj be willing to make another sacrifice for his brother this time?

Plot: Babu and Malik are two inseparable friends who live in a small town in India. One day they decide to play a prank and steal something. When Babu refuses, Bhagat threatens to notify the Police. Babu becomes Kundan, makes his way into the hearts of Shahji, his wife, Rukmani, and daughter, Maya. Babu gets enough cash to pay off Bhagat in small installments, but Bhagat becomes more and more demanding and wants Babu to steal all the cash and jewelry and abscond. Babu is reluctant to steal from these kind people, and to make matters worse has fallen in love with Maya - his 'sister'. Caught between a rock and a hard place - no matter what move Babu makes - he will surely end up trapping himself - not only with Bhagat, his newfound family, as well as the police - who are now hot on his trail.
