Open Letter To All Elected Officials - We Are Not Stupid

Washington is beyond broken It is so bad that 65% of Americans say we should throw them all out. My most recent video gives them a little reminder of what their responsibilities are to "We The People". I KNOW IT IS NOT ELECTION SEASON We need to get out ahead of this. We need to make sure that the few elected officials that are out there fighting our battles know we have their back. We also need to remind the rest of them that they will be up for election soon enough and when their time comes we will gladly be visiting the voting booth to throw them on their asses. We need to remind our elected officials that we are their bosses and that they should be scared of us. Whatever the side of the political aisle you fall on you need to make sure your representation understands that you are watching them. You are paying attention to what they are doing and you disapprove. THE LEAST YOU CAN DO IS SHARE THE VIDEO They have to know that their behavior is not acceptable and that we will hold them accountable. Please share this video with everyone you know. Share it with friends and family and make sure you send it off to all of your elected officials. They need to receive it from as many of us as possible in order to understand how serious we are about all of this. This is your country and you have to get up and fight for it. The very least you can do is share the video with a few friends. SEND THE LETTER TOO! There is a copy of the letter below. Dear Elected Official, I'm going to clue you in on a little secret. We, are not stupid, the American People (Well some of them are stupid) but most of us, are not stupid. We see what you are doing in Washington. We see this chess game you are playing with our lives. Obviously the rules don't apply to you anymore. How quickly you have forgotten that we put you there to represent us. That this is still a representative republic, not a democracy. That you have an obligation to the American people to uphold the constitution. Have you forgotten about the constitution? That document that you swore to uphold the day that you took office? 65% of America would be ok with throwing everyone out of Washington. Everyone! You are absolutely irrelevant. Nobody believes that you have any idea what is going on any more. You have lost control of this country. I WONT TAKE THIS ANYMORE! -- So I ask you again Mr. elected official, where are you? The American people are desperate for a George Washington, for an Abraham Lincoln. Where is that politician that is going to stand up, not because he wants his salary or because he wants compensation benefits for the rest of his life or because he wants to create legislation that will allow him to make more money after he retires from Washington, but because in order to save this country, in order to serve this country he has to stand up, that he has to be willing to sacrifice and he has to be willing to serve his people. The next politician that just comes out and speaks to us as if we were humans, as if we were able to understand the words that were coming out of their mouths and not talk down to us as if we were some stupid, ignorant, unintelligent wastes of society. That guy is going to win in a landslide. I don't care whether he is a democrat or a republican, that guy is going to win in an absolute landslide. We have lost all faith in you, our elected representatives. You wonder why we stay home, why we don't turn out to vote? It' because we don't believe in you. Because you don't stand for anything. The moment that you decide to be honest with us. The moment that you pull down the veil and just let us know what it is going to take. What it is really going to take. Just talk to us. We will back you 100%. You will see an uprising of the American that hasn't been seen since Reagan's landslide. We are here for you, we will support you. We need you. Will you save us?
