"Genocide" is a song by American deathcore band, Suicide Silence.

Overview

Prior to the release of No Time to Bleed, Suicide Silence were offered to have their song "Genocide" remixed, which lead to the song in its original form being produced as a music video on October 20, 2009. The music video for the song was created in collaboration with Bloody Disgusting and was directed by Jerry Club while being recorded in October 2009. It features the band performing in a concert with clips of Saw VI being shown.

Genocide (novel)

Genocide is an original novel written by Paul Leonard and based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It features the Eighth Doctor, Sam, Jo and UNIT.

Blurb

Years after leaving UNIT, Jo Grant receives a plea for help from an old acquaintance. A paleontological study of the earliest known humans is apparently under threat from a UNIT force led by a captain who does not officially exist. Investigating further, she begins to find herself out of her depth - and out of the twentieth century altogether...

Meanwhile, the Doctor and Sam visit Earth in 2109 - but there is no trace of the human race. Earth is the home of the Tractites, a peaceful race who have been living there for hundreds and thousands of years. Astonished and appalled, the Doctor travels back in time to see just what went wrong in Earth's pre-history.

Why have Jo and the expedition been taken back in time? Are the Tractites all they seem? Finally, separated from the TARDIS, the Doctor's last chance to put things right rests with Sam - but has even she turned against him?

Warrior

A warrior is a person specializing in combat or warfare, especially within the context of a tribal or clan-based warrior culture society that recognizes a separate warrior class or caste.

Warrior classes in tribal culture

In tribal societies engaging in endemic warfare, warriors often form a caste or class of their own. In feudalism, the vassals essentially form a military or warrior class, even if in actual warfare, peasants may be called to fight as well. In some societies, warfare may be so central that the entire people (or, more often, large parts of the male population) may be considered warriors, for example in the Iron Age Germanic tribes and Indian clans like the Rajputs.

Women as warriors

While the warrior class in tribal societies is typically all-male, there are some exceptions on record where women (typically unmarried, young women) formed part of the warrior class, particularly in pre-modern Japan.

A purported group of fighting women is the legendary Amazons, recorded in Classical Greek mythology. Similarly, the Valkyrie are depicted in Norse mythology, particularly the Icelandic Etta.

Warriors (1984 album)

Warriors is the second studio and the second self-titled album from former Yugoslav/Canadian heavy metal band Warriors. It is the last Warriors release.

The album cover was, with a slightly different Warriors logo, originally used as a Ratnici - Warriors EP cover.
