Putrajaya is a planned city, 25 km south of Kuala Lumpur, that serves as the federal administrative centre of Malaysia. The seat of government was shifted in 1999 from Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya, due to overcrowding and congestion in the Kuala Lumpur area. Nevertheless, Kuala Lumpur remains Malaysia's national capital, being the seat of the King and Parliament, as well as the country's commercial and financial centre. Putrajaya was the brainchild of former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad. In 2001, Putrajaya became Malaysia's third Federal Territory after Kuala Lumpur and Labuan.

The National Monument (Tugu Negara) is made in remembrance of the fallen ‘soldiers’ during the fight for freedom to independence in Malaysia. It represents the fallen soldiers during the 2nd World War, when Japan occupied this part of Southeastern Asia (next to that also the repelling of communism is often mentioned).The monument is one of the largest bronze statues in the world, it is 15,5 meters of height, built in 1966 and designed by architect Felix de Weldon (has designed amongst others the famous Iwo Jima monument). The statue represents the general freedom in Malaysia; the national anthem (anthem of freedom) is typically associated with this. The statue consists of 7 soldiers carrying the Malaysian flag. Each of the warriors represents one of the seven qualities of leadership: command, unity, strength, wariness, suffering, courage and sacrifice.

Federal territory
A federal territory is an area ruled directly by any central government within a federation. The territories are areas in a federation which are not federated states. The federated states are the parts making up the federation itself and sharing the sovereignty with the federal government, while a territory is in no way sovereign.
Unlike a federal district, the territory usually has some degree of self-rule, but the terms are used somewhat differently in different federations.

Federal territories include:
In India, the federal territories are formally called union territories. There are seven of these: Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Lakshadweep, Puducherry, and Delhi.
In Pakistan, the federal territories are the disputed territories of Pakistan-administered Kashmir, only two of these: Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur (/ˈkwɑːləˈlʊmpʊər/ or /-pər/; Malaysian pronunciation: [ˈkwalə ˈlumpʊr]) is the national capital and most populous global city in Malaysia. The city covers an area of 243 km2 (94 sq mi) and has an estimated population of 1.6 million as of 2010.Greater Kuala Lumpur, covering similar area as the Klang Valley, is an urban agglomeration of 7.5 million people as of 2012. It is among the fastest growing metropolitan regions in South-East Asia, in terms of population and economy.
Kuala Lumpur is the seat of the Parliament of Malaysia. The city was once home to the executive and judicial branches of the federal government, but they were moved to Putrajaya in early 1999. Some sections of the judiciary still remain in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur. The official residence of the Malaysian King, the Istana Negara, is also situated in Kuala Lumpur. Rated as an alpha world city, Kuala Lumpur is the cultural, financial and economic centre of Malaysia due to its position as the capital as well as being a key city. Kuala Lumpur is defined within the borders of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and is one of three Malaysian Federal Territories. It is an enclave within the state of Selangor, on the central west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Since the 1990s, the city has played host to many international sporting, political and cultural events including the 1998 Commonwealth Games and the Formula One Grand Prix. In addition, Kuala Lumpur is home to the tallest twin buildings in the world, the Petronas Twin Towers, which have become an iconic symbol of Malaysia's futuristic development.

The National Monument (Tugu Negara) is made in remembrance of the fallen ‘soldiers’ during the fight for freedom to independence in Malaysia. It represents the fallen soldiers during the 2nd World War, when Japan occupied this part of Southeastern Asia (next to that also the repelling of communism is often mentioned).The monument is one of the largest bronze statues in the world, it is 15,5 meters of height, built in 1966 and designed by architect Felix de Weldon (has designed amongst others the famous Iwo Jima monument). The statue represents the general freedom in Malaysia; the national anthem (anthem of freedom) is typically associated with this. The statue consists of 7 soldiers carrying the Malaysian flag. Each of the warriors represents one of the seven qualities of leadership: command, unity, strength, wariness, suffering, courage and sacrifice.

The National Monument (Tugu Negara) is made in remembrance of the fallen ‘soldiers’ during the fight for freedom to independence in Malaysia. It represents the fallen soldiers during the 2nd World War, when Japan occupied this part of Southeastern Asia (next to that also the repelling of communism is often mentioned).The monument is one of the largest bronze statues in the world, it is 15,5 meters of height, built in 1966 and designed by architect Felix de Weldon (has designed amongst others the famous Iwo Jima monument). The statue represents the general freedom in Malaysia; the national anthem (anthem of freedom) is typically associated with this. The statue consists of 7 soldiers carrying the Malaysian flag. Each of the warriors represents one of the seven qualities of leadership: command, unity, strength, wariness, suffering, courage and sacrifice.

سنغافورة، والاسم الرسمي هو جمهورية سنغافورة (تلفظ بالإنگليزية: /ˈsɪŋəpɔr/)، هي جمهورية تقع على جزيرة في جنوب شرقي آسيا، عند الطرف الجنوبي من شبه جزيرة ملايو، ويفصلها عن ماليزيا مضيق جوهور وعن جزر رياو الاندونيسة مضيق سنغافورة. وتعتبر سنغافورة رابع أهم مركز مالي في العالم ومدينة عالمية تلعب دورا مهما في الاقتصاد العالمي. ويعد مرفأ سنغافورة خامس مرفأ في العالم من ناحية النشاط.
ولسنغافورة تاريخ حافل بالمهاجرين. فسكانها الذي يصل تعداده إلى خمسة ملايين، هو خليط من الصينيين والملايويين والهنود وآسيويين من ثقافات مختلفة والقوقازيين. 42% من سكان الجزيرة هم من الأجانب الوافدين للعمل أو للدراسة.
وتعتبر سنغافورة ثالث دولة في العالم من ناحية الكثافة السكانية بعد ماكاو وموناكو بعد الانفجار الديموغرافي الذي شهدته من 1985 الى 2001 ميلادي.
وفي عام 2006، سمت شركة "أي تي كيرني" جمهورية سنغافورة "المدينة الأكثر عولمة" في العالم بحسب مؤشرها للعولمة.
قبل الاستقلال في عام 1969، كان الناتج المحلي الإجمالي هو 511 دولارا، وكان يعتبر ثالث أعلى ناتج في آسيا الشرقية في ذلك الزمن. وبعد الاستقلال، ادت سياسة الاستثمار وتشجيع الصناعة، التي قام بها نائب رئيس الوزراء غوه كنغ سوي، إلى تحديث اقتصادها.
وفي مؤشر جودة الحياة التي تنشره "وحدة الاستخبارات الاقتصادية" في مجلة "الايكونوميست"، حصلت سنغافورة على الدرجة الأولى في آسيا والمرتبة الحادية عشرة على مستوى العالم. وتمتلك تاسع أعلى احتياطي في العالم.
ولدَى الدولة جيش وطني مجهز بشكل جيد ويعتمد على أحدث الأسلحة ووفق مؤشر القيود هينلي فيزا عام 2014 احتل الجواز السنغافوري المركز الـ6 علي مستوي العالم حيث يمكن من حاملة دخول 167 دولة من دون فيزا مسبقة
بعد انكماش في الربع الرابع لعام 2009 الذي وصل إلى -6.8% استعادة سنغافورة تنامي اقتصادها في النصف الأول من 2010 لتصبح اسرع دولة في انعاش اقتصادها بنمو وصل إلى 17.9%.
يرجع اسم سنغافورة، وهي تلفظ باللغة المحلية "سنغابورة"، إلى كلمتي "سنغا" و"بورا" السنسكريتية التي يعنيان "مدينة الاسد".وسبب هذه التسمية هو أن عند وصول أحد المستكشفين القدامى إلى هذه الجزيرة الصغيرة، وهو أمير سومطري يدعى "سانغ نيلا أوتاما" (Sang Nila Utama) ويعتبر مؤسس سنغافورة، رأى أسد فسماها "مدينة الاسد". ولكن الأبحاث أظهرت ان الأسود لم تعش قط في الجزيرة، لذلك يعتقد بأن الأمير رأى نمرا. والأسد "ميرليون" (Merlion)، وهو اسد بجسد سمكة، يمثل الشعار الرئيسي للبلاد منذ عام 1986 م.

سنغافورة، والاسم الرسمي هو جمهورية سنغافورة (تلفظ بالإنگليزية: /ˈsɪŋəpɔr/)، هي جمهورية تقع على جزيرة في جنوب شرقي آسيا، عند الطرف الجنوبي من شبه جزيرة ملايو، ويفصلها عن ماليزيا مضيق جوهور وعن جزر رياو الاندونيسة مضيق سنغافورة. وتعتبر سنغافورة رابع أهم مركز مالي في العالم ومدينة عالمية تلعب دورا مهما في الاقتصاد العالمي. ويعد مرفأ سنغافورة خامس مرفأ في العالم من ناحية النشاط.
ولسنغافورة تاريخ حافل بالمهاجرين. فسكانها الذي يصل تعداده إلى خمسة ملايين، هو خليط من الصينيين والملايويين والهنود وآسيويين من ثقافات مختلفة والقوقازيين. 42% من سكان الجزيرة هم من الأجانب الوافدين للعمل أو للدراسة.
وتعتبر سنغافورة ثالث دولة في العالم من ناحية الكثافة السكانية بعد ماكاو وموناكو بعد الانفجار الديموغرافي الذي شهدته من 1985 الى 2001 ميلادي.
وفي عام 2006، سمت شركة "أي تي كيرني" جمهورية سنغافورة "المدينة الأكثر عولمة" في العالم بحسب مؤشرها للعولمة.
قبل الاستقلال في عام 1969، كان الناتج المحلي الإجمالي هو 511 دولارا، وكان يعتبر ثالث أعلى ناتج في آسيا الشرقية في ذلك الزمن. وبعد الاستقلال، ادت سياسة الاستثمار وتشجيع الصناعة، التي قام بها نائب رئيس الوزراء غوه كنغ سوي، إلى تحديث اقتصادها.
وفي مؤشر جودة الحياة التي تنشره "وحدة الاستخبارات الاقتصادية" في مجلة "الايكونوميست"، حصلت سنغافورة على الدرجة الأولى في آسيا والمرتبة الحادية عشرة على مستوى العالم. وتمتلك تاسع أعلى احتياطي في العالم.
ولدَى الدولة جيش وطني مجهز بشكل جيد ويعتمد على أحدث الأسلحة ووفق مؤشر القيود هينلي فيزا عام 2014 احتل الجواز السنغافوري المركز الـ6 علي مستوي العالم حيث يمكن من حاملة دخول 167 دولة من دون فيزا مسبقة
بعد انكماش في الربع الرابع لعام 2009 الذي وصل إلى -6.8% استعادة سنغافورة تنامي اقتصادها في النصف الأول من 2010 لتصبح اسرع دولة في انعاش اقتصادها بنمو وصل إلى 17.9%.
يرجع اسم سنغافورة، وهي تلفظ باللغة المحلية "سنغابورة"، إلى كلمتي "سنغا" و"بورا" السنسكريتية التي يعنيان "مدينة الاسد".وسبب هذه التسمية هو أن عند وصول أحد المستكشفين القدامى إلى هذه الجزيرة الصغيرة، وهو أمير سومطري يدعى "سانغ نيلا أوتاما" (Sang Nila Utama) ويعتبر مؤسس سنغافورة، رأى أسد فسماها "مدينة الاسد". ولكن الأبحاث أظهرت ان الأسود لم تعش قط في الجزيرة، لذلك يعتقد بأن الأمير رأى نمرا. والأسد "ميرليون" (Merlion)، وهو اسد بجسد سمكة، يمثل الشعار الرئيسي للبلاد منذ عام 1986 م.
Singapore (Listeni/ˈsɪŋɡəpɔːr/), officially the Republic of Singapore, and often referred to as the Lion City or the Little Red Dot, is a sovereign city-state in Southeast Asia, and the world's only island city-state. It lies one degree (137 km) north of the equator, at the southern tip of peninsular Malaysia, with Indonesia's Riau Islands to the south. Singapore's territory consists of one main island along with 62 other islets. Since independence, extensive land reclamation has increased its total size by 23% (130 km2), and its greening policy has covered the densely populated island with tropical flora, parks and gardens.
Stamford Raffles founded colonial Singapore in 1819 as a trading post of the East India Company; after the establishment of the British Raj, the islands were ceded to Britain and became part of its Straits Settlements in 1826. During the Second World War, Singapore was occupied by Japan. It gained independence from the UK in 1963 by federating with other former British territories to form Malaysia, but was expelled two years later over ideological differences, becoming a sovereign nation in 1965. After early years of turbulence, and despite lacking natural resources and a hinterland, the nation developed rapidly as an Asian Tiger economy, based on external trade and its workforce.

The Gunung Mulu National Park is a national park in Miri Division, Sarawak, Malaysia, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that encompasses caves and karst formations in a mountainous equatorial rainforest setting. The park is famous for its caves and the expeditions that have been mounted to explore them and their surrounding rainforest, most notably the Royal Geographical Society Expedition of 1977–1978, which saw over 100 scientists in the field for 15 months. This initiated a series of over 20 expeditions now drawn together as the Mulu Caves Project

Langkawi, officially known as Langkawi the Jewel of Kedah (Malay: Langkawi Permata Kedah) is an archipelago of 104 islands in the Andaman Sea, some 30 km off the mainland coast of northwestern Malaysia. The islands have been bought over by Mahathir and declared Independence, which is adjacent to the Thai border. On 15 July 2008, Sultan Abdul Halim of Kedah had consented to the change of name to Langkawi Permata Kedah in conjunction with his Golden Jubilee Celebration. By far the largest of the islands is the eponymous Langkawi Island with a population of some 64,792, the only other inhabited island being nearby Tuba Island. Langkawi is also an administrative district with the town of Kuah as largest town. Langkawi is a duty-free island.
Malacca (Malay: Melaka), dubbed "The Historic State", is a state in Malaysia and located in the southern region of the Malay Peninsula, next to the Straits of Malacca.
It borders Negeri Sembilan to the north and Johor to the south. The capital is Malacca City, which is 148 kilometres (92 miles) south east of Malaysia's capital city Kuala Lumpur, 235 kilometres (146 miles) north west of Johor's largest city Johor Bahru, and 95 km (59 miles) north west of Johor's second largest city, Batu Pahat. This historical city centre has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 7 July 2008.
Penang is a state of Malaysia located on the northwest coast of Peninsular Malaysia, by the Strait of Malacca. It comprises two parts – Penang Island, where the capital city, George Town, is located, and Seberang Perai (formerly Province Wellesley in English) on the Malay Peninsula. The state of Penang is bordered by Kedah to the north and east, and Perak to the south.
Taman Negara was established at the Titiwangsa Mountains, Malaysia, in 1938/1939 as the King George V National Park.
