The situation in the Atlantic keeps getting worse. Hurricane Matthew is getting bigger and stronger and shows now sign of weaking and a direct impact on the USA is almosy a sure thing. Plus we now have Tropical Storm Nicole and a giant unnamed system behind Matthew.

The most powerful Atlantic tropical storm in almost a decade slammed into Haiti early Tuesday, flooding streets, flattening homes, toppling trees, sweeping away livestock, and leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.
A key bridge in the town of Petit-Goâve, on the highway that links Haiti's hardest hit southwestern peninsula region to the capital Port-au-Prince, collapsed and several people were reportedly "swept away," NBC News reported.
So far, Haiti's civil protection agency has reported just two deaths — including a fisherman who drowned in rough water churned up by the storm.
Eight deaths in all have been blamed on the storm: One man died in Colombia, four people were killed in the Dominican Republic, and a teen was killed in St. Vincent and the Grenadines as the storm moved through the Caribbean.
But officials fear the death toll could rise — especially in and around the southern town of Les Cayes, which absorbed the first blow from Matthew and where hundreds were hunkering down in homes without electricity and without roofs.
Weather Channel meteorologist Kevin Roth warned that Matthew could swamp Haiti's low-lying areas with up to 20 inches of rain and dump up to 40 inches in the mountains.
Matthew made landfall in Haiti just after 7 a.m. Tuesday as a category 4 storm with maximum sustained winds of 145 mph, the Weather Channel reported.
Government officials and aid workers had set up a number of shelters in the major cities and pleaded with residents to low-lying areas to use them, Chris Bessey, country representative at Catholic Relief Services in Port-au-Prince, told NBC News. But many, more fearful of looters than the storm, refused to leave their properties.
"They're hunkered down," Bessey added. "They're right in the middle of it."
Chantal Elie, a political analyst who huddled with her husband and two kids in their home, about 8 miles south of Port-au-Prince, said "trees are falling like crazy."
Elie said she ventured out of her house briefly to survey the damage, but the winds were too strong to stay outside for long.
"My daughter is very worried," she told NBC News. "She told me, 'Mom, I can't die right now because I have to finish school. I'm too young.'"
Marie Alta Jean-Baptiste, the director of the country's Civil Protection Agency, told The Associated Press they're bracing for the worst.

Miami Beach, Florida
Miami Beach is a coastal resort city in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. It was incorporated on March 26, 1915. The municipality is located on a variety of natural and man-made barrier islands between the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay, the latter of which separates the Beach from Miami. The neighborhood of South Beach, comprising the southernmost 2.5 square miles (6.5 km2) of Miami Beach, along with downtown Miami and the Port of Miami, collectively form the commercial center of South Florida. As of the 2010 census, Miami Beach had a total population of 87,779. It has been one of America's pre-eminent beach resorts since the early 20th century.
In 1979, Miami Beach's Art Deco Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Art Deco District is the largest collection of Art Deco architecture in the world and comprises hundreds of hotels, apartments and other structures erected between 1923 and 1943. Mediterranean, Streamline Moderne and Art Deco are all represented in the District. The movement to preserve the Art Deco District's architectural heritage was led by former interior designer Barbara Capitman, who now has a street in the District named in her honor.

The most powerful Atlantic tropical storm in almost a decade slammed into Haiti early Tuesday, flooding streets, flattening homes, toppling trees, sweeping away livestock, and leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.
A key bridge in the town of Petit-Goâve, on the highway that links Haiti's hardest hit southwestern peninsula region to the capital Port-au-Prince, collapsed and several people were reportedly "swept away," NBC News reported.
So far, Haiti's civil protection agency has reported just two deaths — including a fisherman who drowned in rough water churned up by the storm.
Eight deaths in all have been blamed on the storm: One man died in Colombia, four people were killed in the Dominican Republic, and a teen was killed in St. Vincent and the Grenadines as the storm moved through the Caribbean.
But officials fear the death toll could rise — especially in and around the southern town of Les Cayes, which absorbed the first blow from Matthew and where hundreds were hunkering down in homes without electricity and without roofs.
Weather Channel meteorologist Kevin Roth warned that Matthew could swamp Haiti's low-lying areas with up to 20 inches of rain and dump up to 40 inches in the mountains.
Matthew made landfall in Haiti just after 7 a.m. Tuesday as a category 4 storm with maximum sustained winds of 145 mph, the Weather Channel reported.
Government officials and aid workers had set up a number of shelters in the major cities and pleaded with residents to low-lying areas to use them, Chris Bessey, country representative at Catholic Relief Services in Port-au-Prince, told NBC News. But many, more fearful of looters than the storm, refused to leave their properties.
"They're hunkered down," Bessey added. "They're right in the middle of it."
Chantal Elie, a political analyst who huddled with her husband and two kids in their home, about 8 miles south of Port-au-Prince, said "trees are falling like crazy."
Elie said she ventured out of her house briefly to survey the damage, but the winds were too strong to stay outside for long.
"My daughter is very worried," she told NBC News. "She told me, 'Mom, I can't die right now because I have to finish school. I'm too young.'"
Marie Alta Jean-Baptiste, the director of the country's Civil Protection Agency, told The Associated Press they're bracing for the worst.

Orlando was founded in 1875 as an agricultural distribution centre and today the biggest entertainment parks in the world are located there and attended by almost forty three million visitors each year. On the east coast of the Florida Peninsula, Cape Canaveral juts out into the Atlantic As far back as 1949 the ‘Rocket Trials Zone’, as it was then known, was built within an area that has been further developed and extended to become the world famous Space Station it is today. Florida is a truly magical place with something special to offer for one and all!
