Welcome!

Welcome to my website. I hope everyone who visits will enjoy looking round it, and finding out about me (click on About) and my books. Links on this page take you to Children's books, Young Adult books and Books for Adults. There's also a link to ebooks and much of my work (including all the adult novels) is available to download.  The Illustrations link will take you to pictures from my books and I'll put up new ones as they appear.  News and Events are self-explanatory and I'll post my book reviews under What I'm Reading.  Websites I like (including two that I write for: The History Girls and An Awfully Big Blog Adventure) are  listed in the left-hand margin and also on the Contacts page you'll find links to sites providing advice to new and unpublished writers, and a list of the websites of members of the Scattered Authors' Society.

An Archive of the newsletters from the old website (which contain lots of book reviews) will be found under the News & Archive link. A list of my main publications will be found under the Books link.

There are links to a downloadable short biographical note and to a photograph on the About page.

I like visiting schools, colleges, reading groups, libraries and festivals and anyone who'd like to book me for an event should look under Contacts where there are details of the sorts of talks and workshops I give.
