A ZANY new zipline whisks travellers from Spain to Portugal in less than one minute.
The border-crossing attraction is the first - and currently only - zipline in the world to transport users across a border.
Thrillseekers board in Sanlucar de Guadiana in Andalucia, Spain, before whizzing down the line at around 50mph - and landing across the Guadiana River in Alcoutim, Portugal.
And thanks to time zone differences between the two nations, the 60 second journey will see the zipliners travel back in time one hour.
Englishman, David Jarman, who set up and created the 2,365ft zipline, said: "I love a challenge.
"Two villages in two countries, separated by a river 150 metres wide - a zipline just seemed obvious to me.
"It also seemed like a great way to unite both places, since a bridge had been talked about for many years, but was never realised."

Along with France and Morocco, it is one of only three countries to have both Atlantic and Mediterranean coastlines. Extending to 1,214 km (754 mi), the Portugal–Spain border is the longest uninterrupted border within the European Union.
Spanish territory includes two archipelagos: the Balearic Islands, in the Mediterranean Sea, and the Canary Islands, in the Atlantic Ocean off the African coast. It also includes two major exclaves, Ceuta and Melilla, in continental North Africa; and the islands and peñones (rocks) of Alborán, Alhucemas, Chafarinas and Vélez de la Gomera. With an area of 505,990 km2 (195,360 sq mi), Spain is the second largest country in Western Europe and the European Union, and the fourth largest country in Europe. The Only
"The Only" is the first single from the industrial metal band's Static-X's third album, Shadow Zone.
The song is featured in Need for Speed: Underground, and on the PC version of the game True Crime: Streets of LA, and in the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards as a background music for an announcer's speech. In Need for Speed Underground, the words "my heaven, your hell" have been replaced by "I'm winning, you're losing".
The video was directed by P. R. Brown and features the band facing the walls of a small room with the camera orbiting around them. The walls are lifted by the end of the video revealing a crowd of fans around the room's floor.
Reception
The song was declared to have the band's the number one music video from Billboard magazine in 2014.

Daddy Yankee
Ramón Luis Ayala Rodríguez (born February 3, 1976), known by his stage name Daddy Yankee, is a Puerto Rican reggaeton singer, songwriter, producer and actor. Ayala was born in Río Piedras, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and was raised in the neighborhood of Villa Kennedy Housing Projects.
Ayala aspired to be a professional baseball player, and tried out for the Seattle Mariners Major League baseball team. Before he could be officially signed, he was hit by a stray round from an AK-47 rifle while taking a break from a studio recording session with reggaeton mix tape icon DJ Playero. Ayala spent roughly one and a half years recovering from the wound; the bullet was never removed from his hip, and he credits the shooting incident with allowing him to focus entirely on a music career. Since then, he has sold over 18 million albums.
Musical career
1992–2003: Early music career
Daddy Yankee first appeared on the 1992 DJ Playero's Mixtape, Playero 34, with the song "So' Persigueme, No Te Detengas". Ayala was originally going to become a professional baseball player but he was shot in his leg while taking a break from a studio recording session. The bullet was never removed and he credits this incident with allowing him to pursue a musical career. He made a few songs talking about the shooting incident, but his most "complete" song about it was "6 De Enero", released in 2012. His first official studio project as a solo artist was No Mercy, which was released on April 2, 1995 through White Lion Records and BM Records in Puerto Rico. Early in his career he attempted to imitate the style of Vico C. He went on to emulate other artists in the genre, including DJ Playero, DJ Nelson, and DJ Drako, taking elements from their styles in order to develop an original style. In doing so, he eventually abandoned the traditional model of rap and became one of the first artists to perform reggaeton.

This week we are exploring another Spanish city. We are in Barcelona and this video is going to highlight 25 things to do here.
It is kind of hard to believe our time in Barcelona has expired. So final thoughts.
Well, it was a really fun city to visit. Great architecture, really nice beaches. It is very lively especially at night. The only downfall is that we were here in the middle of summer so it was super hot and super crowded and sometimes that made it a little bit difficult to enjoy. Especially at midday or in the mid-afternoon. So keep that in mind. Maybe consider visiting in the springtime, fall, winter.
Well, so what did you think of the city?
It is definitely a fun city. We had a lot of fun going to the beaches. One thing that is really different about this city compared to some other European cities though is that it is really spread out. In order for us to visit all of these different attractions we had to chunk them together into groups to visit them day by day. Overall, it was a decent city. It didn't quite click with me the same way that Madrid did. But that is just personal preference I suppose.
And that is a wrap for Barcelona! Our 5 days in the city flew by, and while this guide didn't cover everything, we hope we were able to give you a feel of what this fun seaside city has to offer. This week we are exploring another Spanish city. We are in Barcelona and this video is going to highlight 25 things to do here.
It is kind of hard to believe our time in Barcelona has expired. So final thoughts.
Well, it was a really fun city to visit. Great architecture, really nice beaches. It is very lively especially at night. The only downfall is that we were here in the middle of summer so it was super hot and super crowded and sometimes that made it a little bit difficult to enjoy. Especially at midday or in the mid-afternoon. So keep that in mind. Maybe consider visiting in the springtime, fall, winter.
Well, so what did you think of the city?
It is definitely a fun city. We had a lot of fun going to the beaches. One thing that is really different about this city compared to some other European cities though is that it is really spread out. In order for us to visit all of these different attractions we had to chunk them together into groups to visit them day by day. Overall, it was a decent city. It didn't quite click with me the same way that Madrid did. But that is just personal preference I suppose.
And that is a wrap for Barcelona! Our 5 days in the city flew by, and while this guide didn't cover everything, we hope we were able to give you a feel of what this fun seaside city has to offer. Hola y bienvenidos a Madrid. This week we are in the Spanish capital and we are going to show you twenty five of the best things to do in the city.
Final thoughts on your time in Madrid. Well, I really enjoyed the city. And I really found that it is super walk-able. We were here for 10 days and we hardly had to take the metro at all. We just took the bus once when we were visiting the stadium but the rest of the time we were able to walk wherever we needed to go. And also I think it is a great city for art lovers. There are so many galleries and museums to check out. And a lot of them are free in the evening. So keep that in mind.
And now it is your turn. What did you think of Madrid? You know what? I absolutely loved Madrid. It is a city that just really clicked with me. We have a lot of friends that are living here long term and prior to coming here I had no idea like why would someone want to come to Madrid? Now I totally get it. I love the culture, I love the food, I love the nightlife. Everything is really cheap. I go to the grocery store and I can get a one liter thing of wine for just over a Euro. It is just a really affordable fun city to be in. And it is somewhere I hope I have a chance to come back to again soon.

I spent 26 days in Europe, I travelled to Paris, Spain (Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona) and then I hopped on a cruise to travel the Mediterranean! I am sharing my entire experience with you and I hope that you enjoy and feel inspired to make that trip you always wanted to!
I have to say Madrid felt very touristy and mostly what we did was shop (of course) LOL ! But none the less i really enjoyed the food, culture and the people.

The Canary Islands are a Spanish archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean, just off Morocco in North Africa. Formed by volcanic eruptions and shaped by hot desert winds, they are comprised of 7 main islands.
When powerful seismic forces lifted these islands out of the ocean millions of years ago, they sculpted landscapes of unimaginable beauty. So spectacular are the Canary Islands that for centuries, it was believed that this archipelago formed the peaks of the legendary lost city of Atlantis.
Today, the Canary Islands are a magnet for sun seekers, beachcombers and adventurers from all over the world.
With, 160 miles of coastline, 150 beaches and a climate that feels like it is always spring, the island of Fuerteventura is a perfect place to slow down and relax.
A short ferry ride to the west of Fuerteventura is Gran Canaria - a place of ever changing climates and vistas.
This island abounds with otherworldly landscapes that have been inspiring visitors for centuries. Take a hike to Pilancones Natural Park. The spectacular plateaus and cool ravines in this area are around 12 million years old.
Tenerife, is the largest and busiest of the Canary Islands, receiving around 5 million visitors a year.
Or, choose to visit Lanzarote is the Canaries’ easternmost island and is sometimes called the “Island of 100 Volcanoes.”
Be humbled by Mother Nature’s destructive power on a tour of Timanfaya National Park. This region suffered a series of devastating eruptions in the 1700s and has remained largely unchanged ever since.
No matter which of these magnificent islands you choose, as the sun’s molten rays merge the ocean with the earth, you’ll realise this is a place where Mother Nature and history collide.
The mythical city of Atlantis may be a story, lost in the mists of time, but the Canary Islands are only a plane ride away. Whether you are searching for dramatic adventures or a sun-soaked vacation, this archipelago is alive with a powerful magic all its own.

The Canary Islands are a Spanish archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean, just off Morocco in North Africa. Formed by volcanic eruptions and shaped by hot desert winds, they are comprised of 7 main islands.

A ZANY new zipline whisks travellers from Spain to Portugal in less than one minute.
The border-crossing attraction is the first - and currently only - zipline in the world to transport users across a border.
Thrillseekers board in Sanlucar de Guadiana in Andalucia, Spain, before whizzing down the line at around 50mph - and landing across the Guadiana River in Alcoutim, Portugal.
And thanks to time zone differences between the two nations, the 60 second journey will see the zipliners travel back in time one hour.
Englishman, David Jarman, who set up and created the 2,365ft zipline, said: "I love a challenge.
"Two villages in two countries, separated by a river 150 metres wide - a zipline just seemed obvious to me.
"It also seemed like a great way to unite both places, since a bridge had been talked about for many years, but was never realised."

This event was recorded on a Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ02 point and shoot camera. I was in the nosebleed section in the arena, in the last row. I'm not a fan of bullfighting, but this is something I wanted to experience. I think these were the toreros: Maestro: Antonio Ferrera Ibiza (Baleares), 36 años. Alternativa: Olivenza. Confirmacion: Las Ventas, 28 de marzo de 1999. Padrino: Emrique Ponce. Testigo: Pedtrito de Portugal. Picadores: Dionisio Leonido Griio Barrosa y Alonso Sanchez Lopez. Banderilleros: Fco. Javier Sanguino Magariño, Roberto Bermejo Santamaria y Manuel Garcia Rubio. Of the 6 bullfights, this is the only one I recorded. One torero (a banderillero) got gored in the 3rd bullfight.

It would take a long essay to fully explain UMEK’s meaning to electronic music. The Slovenian born producer and DJ has been setting trends and rocking dance floors for two decades now -- and still shows no signs of slowing down. He’s not only been rocking our ears with his own productions for labels like Toolroom, Spinnin, Great Stuff, Intec and many more, but has also been heavily involved in choosing who to sign to his arty imprint 1605, which mostly supports young and talented artists who haven’t yet made it on the global party scene.
Having conquered most of world’s biggest stages and festivals, UMEK started his own weekly radio show “Behind the Iron Curtain,” which immediately landed on dozens of the world’s hippest EDM radio stations.
Although he probably holds a national record for the number of flights per year, UMEK still finds time for charity. Every August he hosts a charity event called “Party with a Cause,” where local sponsors help raise money for a certain cause, mostly to help underprivileged youth...

It would take a long essay to fully explain UMEK’s meaning to electronic music. The Slovenian born producer and DJ has been setting trends and rocking dance floors for two decades now -- and still shows no signs of slowing down. He’s tireless in his techno and tech house production and with more than 100 gigs per year, probably one of the busiest techno DJs out there.
He’s not only been rocking our ears with his own productions for labels like Toolroom, Spinnin, Great Stuff, Intec and many more, but has also been heavily involved in choosing who to sign to his arty imprint 1605, which mostly supports young and talented artists who haven’t yet made it on the global party scene.
Having conquered most of world’s biggest stages and festivals, UMEK started his own weekly radio show “Behind the Iron Curtain,” which immediately landed on dozens of the world’s hippest EDM radio stations.
Although he probably holds a national record for the number of flights per year, UMEK still finds time for charity. Every August he hosts a charity event called “Party with a Cause,” where local sponsors help raise money for a certain cause, mostly to help underprivileged youth...

I'm not a fan of bullfighting, but this is something I wanted to experience.
I think these were the toreros:
Maestro: Antonio Ferrera
Ibiza (Baleares), 36 años.
Alternativa: Olivenza. Confirmacion: Las Ventas, 28 de marzo de 1999. Padrino: Emrique Ponce. Testigo: Pedtrito de Portugal.
Picadores: Dionisio Leonido Griio Barrosa y Alonso Sanchez Lopez.
Banderilleros: Fco. Javier Sanguino Magariño, Roberto Bermejo Santamaria y Manuel Garcia Rubio.
