Australian Amphibious Force and HMAS Adelaide take part in Exercise Sea Explorer
Exercise Sea Explorer is the second of the three training activities in the annual Sea Series to hone and certify Australia’s Amphibious Force. The first exercise, Sea Horizon was a synthetic command exercise in preparation for subsequent Sea Explorer and Sea Raider exercises. During Sea Explorer, an Amphibious Ready Unit, formed on HMAS Adelaide and USS Ashland, with embarked force consisting of soldiers, sailors, and aviators will practice amphibious projection of personnel, vehicles and equipment at Cowley Beach in North-eastern Queensland from 1-15 June, 2022.

In the current COVID environment, this presentation was mainly virtual. With only a small number of people able to attend at Wellington National Headquarters. There were over 500 people logged in to watch this presentation, which, with the amazing words by the speakers, is a testament to Ian and his career.

Still Testing Launch - 01/21/2018
Rocket Lab has successfully reached orbit with the test flight of its second Electron orbital launch vehicle, Still Testing. Electron lifted-off at 14:43 NZDT from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 1 on the Māhia Peninsula in New Zealand.
Following successful first and second stage burns, Electron reached orbit and deployed customer payloads at 8 minutes and 31 seconds after lift-off.
Still Testing was carrying a Dove Pioneer Earth-imaging satellite for launch customer Planet, as well as two Lemur-2 satellites for weather and ship tracking company Spire.

Rocket Lab has successfully reached orbit with the test flight of its second Electron orbital launch vehicle, Still Testing. Electron lifted-off at 14:43 NZDT from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 1 on the Māhia Peninsula in New Zealand.
Following successful first and second stage burns, Electron reached orbit and deployed customer payloads at 8 minutes and 31 seconds after lift-off.
Still Testing was carrying a Dove Pioneer Earth-imaging satellite for launch customer Planet, as well as two Lemur-2 satellites for weather and ship tracking company Spire.
