What should the government do about the Phoenix pay system?

Ah, the Phoenix pay system. Where do we start?

Maybe with the newly released information that it will probably cost more than $25 million to fix or that the Conservatives said it would save the federal treasury $70 million annually?

Or maybe that tens of thousands of people who have been improperly paid or that the government was forced to rehire hundreds of payroll department and call centre workers after all these complaints?

Suffice it to say, there's a lot going on with the Phoenix pay system. However, Marie Lemay, the deputy minister responsible for public services and procurement did say yesterday in reference to the system that "termination is the most complex."

What do you think the government should do?
