Horne may refer to:
"Holy Roller" is a term for some Christian churchgoers of the Holiness, and Pentecostal traditions. The term is sometimes used derisively by those outside these denominations, as if to describe people literally rolling on the floor in an uncontrolled manner. However, those within these Wesleyan traditions have reclaimed it as a badge of honor; for example William Branham wrote: "And what the world calls today holy-roller, that's the way I worship Jesus Christ." Gospel singer Andrae Crouch stated, "They call us holy rollers, and what they say is true. But if they knew what we were rollin' about, they'd be rollin' too."
Merriam-Webster traces the word to 1841. The Oxford English Dictionary cites an 1893 memoir by Charles Godfrey Leland, in which he says "When the Holy Spirit seized them ... the Holy Rollers ... rolled over and over on the floor."
Similar disparaging terms directed at outspoken Christians but later embraced by them include Jesus freaks or, from former centuries, Methodists, Quakers, and Shakers.

Ryan Horne - Terrible Tommy (Sons of Anarchy) HD
Read your free e-book: http://installapp.us/mebk/50/en/B00DFM6Z40/book When Kenneth Horne died in 1969 at the age of 61, he was described as 'the last of the truly great radio comics'. In a broadcasting career spanning more than 25 years he starred in three of the most popular radio comedy series of all time "much-binding-in-the-marsh", "beyond Our Ken" and "round the Horne". Born in 1907, Horne was the youngest of seven children of a Congregationalist preacher and Mp. He won a half-blue for tennis at Cambridge but was sent down for failing his exams. In 1939 he joined the Raf and rose to the rank of Wing Commander before he broke into broadcasting after compeering a troop concert on the Bbc. With his brother officer, Richard 'dickie' Murdoch he created the hugely popular Much-binding-in-t...

[Lyrics Lena Horne - Good for Nothing Joe] It's gonna rain any minute There's not a star in sight Things are mighty slow I guess, I'll close up shop And go home to Joe I know he won't be glad to see me Without a penny to the good But I'm not carin' much what happens I did the best I could He's just good-for-nothin' Joe But, oh, I love him so Guess, I'd die if good-for-nothin' Joe Ever tried to leave me flat Oh yes, I'm certain of that Folks I know can't understand Why I must have that man Lord, he sends me like nobody can Ain't a woman just like that? I wouldn't mind doin' what I'm doin' I'd beat these streets till my feet were sore But when it's slow and I go home to him Instead of sympathy, he's just as mean as can be Still there's nothin' I can do Beca...
[Lyrics Lena Horne - Call Me Darling] Call me darlin', call me sweetheart, call me dear, Thrill me , darlin', with words I want to hear. In your dark eyes so smilin', a promise I see, But your two lips won't say you care for me. Oh my darlin', if my daydreams would come true, You would meet me at a secret rendezvous, And I'd find the paradise that lies deep in your eyes; Call me darlin', call me sweetheart, call me dear.
[Lyrics Lena Horne - Can't Help Lovin' That Man] Oh listen, sister I love my mister man and I can't tell you why Dere ain't no reason why I should love dat man It must be sumpin' dat de angels done plan De chimbley's smokin' De roof is leakin' in But he don't seem to care He can be happy With jes' a sip of gin I even loves him when his kisses got gin Fish got to swim and birds got to fly I got to love one man till I die Can't help lovin' that man of mine Tell me he's lazy Tell me he's slow Tell me I'm crazy, maybe, I know Can't help lovin' that man of mine When he goes away Dat's a rainy day And when he comes back dat day is fine The sun will shine He can come home as late as can be Home without him ain't no home to me Can't help lovin' that man of mine ...

Alberni Valley Hill Climbers ride. Horne Lake Powerlines to Cochrane Rd-video#2
Round the Horne featured a parody a week, several catchphrases, and many memorable characters. The show often opened with a deadpan delivery by Horne of "the answers to last week's questions", despite no such questions having been asked in previous episodes, and which were laced with (what were for BBC Radio at that time) incredible double entendres and sexual innuendo, such as "First, the 'Where Do You Find It?' question. Well, the answer came in several parts, as follows: wound round a sailor's leg; on top of the wardrobe; floating in the bath; under a prize bull; and in a lay-by on the Watford Bypass. At least, I found one there - couldn't use it - it was covered in verdigris. I gave it to the Scouts, actually, and they exhibit it proudly next to a daguerreotype of Baden-Powell's wog...
(Visit: http://www.uctv.tv) Former UCSB professor Gerald Horne, the award-winning author of more than thirty books, discusses his book “The Counter-Revolution of 1776” which argues that for the country's forefathers, "freedom" meant the right to keep others enslaved—and that the consequences of this definition continue into the present in the form of a racialized conservatism and a persistent racism targeting the descendants of the enslaved. And so we came riding end with us, we came with Pain, Hunger, with Death.
And over the soil was cast coldness, unlight and vanishing life.
Your time is over.
Ours is in beginning and soon it shall ever be.
Your end will come always again, yours is the eternal death.
We hate you, your belief!
We smash you into ground, we crush your weak race!
So shall always be.
We burn your Father’s churches.
We burn them down.
We exterminate the christian “plague” for all time.
And we look into past, enjoying your pain, we enjoyed christian death,
