Mclusky Do Dallas is the second album by three-piece Welsh band Mclusky, released in 2002 by Beggars offshoot Too Pure Records. The album's title is a spin on Debbie Does Dallas, a famous 1978 pornographic movie. It was re-released on limited edition white marble and clear orange vinyl as a Record Store Day exclusive in 2012.
Online music magazine Pitchfork Media placed Mclusky Do Dallas at number 94 on their list of the top 200 albums of the 2000s.
Online music magazine Coke Machine Glow placed Mclusky Do Dallas at number 15 on their top 100 Albums of the 2000s.
"To Hell With Good Intentions" was #40 in BBC Radio DJ John Peel's Festive Fifty for 2002.
All songs written by Falkous/Chapple/Harding, except "Chases" by Falkous/Chapple/Harding/Alexander.
Demetri Evan Martin (born May 25, 1973) is an American comedian, actor, artist, musician, writer, and humorist. He is best known for his work as a stand-up comedian, being a contributor on The Daily Show, and his Comedy Central show Important Things with Demetri Martin.
Martin was born on May 25, 1973 to a Greek American family in New York City, New York, the son of nutritionist Lillian and Greek Orthodox priest Dean C. Martin (now deceased). He grew up in Toms River, New Jersey, and has a younger brother named Spyro.
Martin graduated from Yale University in 1995. During his time there, he wrote a 224-word poem about alcoholism as a project for a fractal geometry class, which became a well known palindromic poem. He was also a member of the Anti-Gravity Society, whose members juggle objects on Sunday evenings on Yale's Old Campus.
Although Martin was accepted into Harvard Law School, he went to New York University School of Law after he received a full scholarship. Martin withdrew from law school before the start of his final year, opting to pursue comedy over finishing his Juris Doctor.
Good Intentions may refer to:
Mclusky (often stylized as mclusky), originally known as Best, were a three-piece post-hardcore group formed in Cardiff, Wales. The group consisted of Englishman Andrew "Falco" Falkous (vocals, guitar) from Newcastle Upon Tyne, Jonathan Chapple (bass, vocals) and Jack Egglestone (drums), who replaced previous drummer Matthew Harding in late 2003.
According to the band, they originally formed in 1996 when Falkous and Harding met at the Blackwood Miners Institute, a venue in their home town from which they were both ejected for dressing as miners. The pair met Chapple a short time afterwards at the Reading Festival when they caught him urinating on their tent late in the night.
More realistically it has been suggested that Falkous and Harding met when working together at Anglian Windows, a small double-glazing call centre in Cardiff. They discussed their musical ambitions after a conversation about Reading Festival, Falkous gave Harding a tape of songs he had written on his own, and shortly after they formed a band called Best after early Beatles drummer Pete Best. The original bass player for Best was Geraint Bevan, Harding's old musical comrade from The Derelicts.

"This one's for the patriots The new wave good time girls And if it wasn't for the decepticons They'd rule the fucking world In the midst of all the killing and skineating W we forgot about the loving If I had to choose a woman then I think I'd choose religion If I had to give you something then I think I'd give you nothing If I had to give you something then I think I'd go to hell This ones for the dancers The dockers and the dykes And if it weren't for Asian basin sales They couldn't sleep at night In the midst of all the touching and kissing We forget the penetration If I had to drive you somewhere then I'd drive you to the station If I had to give you something then I think I'd give you nothing If I had to give you something then I think I'd go to hell In t...

No fun, my babe no fun
No fun, my babe no fun
No fun to hang around
Feelin' that same old way
No fun to hand around
Freaked out
For another day
No fun, my babe no fun
No fun, my babe no fun
No fun to be alone
Walkin' by myself
No fun to be alone
In love with nobody else
Maybe go out
Maybe stay home
Maybe call mom on the telephone
Come on
No fun
No fun to be alone
No fun, be alone
No fun, be alone
To be alone
No fun to be alone
