Sunshine Coast (British Columbia)
Coordinates: 49°41′00″N 124°11′00″W / 49.68333°N 124.18333°W / 49.68333; -124.18333
The Sunshine Coast is a region of the southern mainland coast of British Columbia, Canada, on the eastern shore of the Strait of Georgia, and just northwest of Greater Vancouver. The region includes the coastal areas of the regional district of Sunshine Coast, where the name originated, and more recently the regional district of Powell River up to and including the village of Lund, farther up the coast.
While populous and frequently visited by tourists, the Sunshine Coast can only be reached by ferry (commonly BC Ferries) or by float/airplane; because of the steep, rugged terrain, no access roads have been built around or across the fjords to connect with the rest of the province. The area around Powell River, also on the mainland and inaccessible by road, is considered by some to be part of the Sunshine Coast, while others use the name to refer only to the area between Langdale (near the Town of Gibsons in the south) and Egmont (in the north).

We're guessing the answer is no, and we want to change that, with a video tour of this photogenic paradise. We're talking green green inlets, islands, spectacular sunsets, hikes, ferries, seaplanes and the one and only Skoomumchuck Narrows!
The first part of the episode takes you to the Sunshine Coast's most popular spots: Gibsons, Roberts Creek, Sechelt, Egmont, Skookumchuck, Powell River and Lund, and in part 2, Jefferson Graham has photo tips about how he got some of his cool shots that are seen in the video.
In next week's installment, the journey continues, with a water taxi across the Sound to a remote, somewhat deserted island called Savary.

Hi guys, welcome back to my channel. In today's video, I'll be doing a TRAVEL VLOG featuring our WEEKEND GETAWAY TO SUNSHINE COAST. Sunshine Coast is located in the southwest corner of mainland British Columbia. We spent the last couple weeks of summer at Sunshine Coast / Half-moon Bay / Sechelt BC. The weather was perfect as we got there on a bright and warm sunny day.
Watch DAY 1 of the things we did along the way going to the island, Sunshine Coast. From getting ready with me, going on the ferry ride, making a pit stop at Gibson’s Landing and giving you guys a house tour of the place we stayed in at Halfmoon Bay.
We recommend packing the following basics before making your trip:
🤍Bring layered clothing (rain jacket, down jacket, sweater, shirt)
🤍Comfortable shoes (slippers for indoors, boots or running shoes)
🤍Hat (especially during the summer, it can get hot!
🤍Sunscreen
🤍Food and Drinks (Water, Pop, Alcohol, Snacks, Fruits)
🤍Mosquito Repellant (we've learned our lesson the hard way)

Hi guys, welcome back to my channel. In today's video, I'll be doing a TRAVEL VLOG featuring our WEEKEND GETAWAY TO SUNSHINE COAST. Sunshine Coast is located in the southwest corner of mainland British Columbia. We spent the last couple weeks of summer at Sunshine Coast / Half-moon Bay / Sechelt BC. The weather was perfect as we got there on a bright and warm sunny day.
Watch DAY 1 of the things we did along the way going to the island, Sunshine Coast. From getting ready with me, going on the ferry ride, making a pit stop at Gibson’s Landing and giving you guys a house tour of the place we stayed in at Halfmoon Bay.
We recommend packing the following basics before making your trip:
🤍Bring layered clothing (rain jacket, down jacket, sweater, shirt)
🤍Comfortable shoes (slippers for indoors, boots or running shoes)
🤍Hat (especially during the summer, it can get hot!
🤍Sunscreen
🤍Food and Drinks (Water, Pop, Alcohol, Snacks, Fruits)
🤍Mosquito Repellant (we've learned our lesson the hard way)

🇨🇦 One of the most beautiful places on earth is British Columbia, specifically the "Sunshine Coast" region, which is on the southern coast of BC, but have you ever heard of it?
We're guessing the answer is no, and we want to change that, with a video tour of this photogenic paradise. We're talking green green inlets, islands, spectacular sunsets, hikes, ferries, seaplanes and the one and only Skoomumchuck Narrows!
The first part of the episode takes you to the Sunshine Coast's most popular spots: Gibsons, Roberts Creek, Sechelt, Egmont, Skookumchuck, Powell River and Lund, and in part 2, Jefferson Graham has photo tips about how he got some of his cool shots that are seen in the video.
In next week's installment, the journey continues, with a water taxi across the Sound to a remote, somewhat deserted island called Savary.

Hi guys, welcome back to my channel. In today's video, I'll be doing a TRAVEL VLOG featuring our WEEKEND GETAWAY TO SUNSHINE COAST. Sunshine Coast is located in the southwest corner of mainland British Columbia. We spent the last couple weeks of summer at Sunshine Coast / Half-moon Bay / Sechelt BC. The weather was perfect as we got there on a bright and warm sunny day.
Watch DAY 1 of the things we did along the way going to the island, Sunshine Coast. From getting ready with me, going on the ferry ride, making a pit stop at Gibson’s Landing and giving you guys a house tour of the place we stayed in at Halfmoon Bay.
We recommend packing the following basics before making your trip:
🤍Bring layered clothing (rain jacket, down jacket, sweater, shirt)
🤍Comfortable shoes (slippers for indoors, boots or running shoes)
🤍Hat (especially during the summer, it can get hot!
🤍Sunscreen
🤍Food and Drinks (Water, Pop, Alcohol, Snacks, Fruits)
🤍Mosquito Repellant (we've learned our lesson the hard way)
