This is a HD Video of my latest trip to Sedona Arizona. I originally made this video for a disabled friend who sadly can't go on trips like this anymore. I wanted her to have, as much as possible, the feeling of being there, in the car with us. Click "show more' to read more.
I filmed the entire video in HD so i could turn it into a blu-ray disc. I wanted her to have the best possible viewing for her HD TV, but this may not come through when viewed through youtube. It's HD and it looks great on most players, but it's not blu-ray HD.
Lately I was thinking"why not share it for others who can't get to beautiful Sedona, Arizona?" I'll get the second part up when i can. By the way, she loved the video, but she prefers to mute the music i used and plays native american flute music in the background.
I think this is the disc where i have a few scenes of inside Starbucks and the view from Starbucks because it's my favorite place to spend the first part of the day.
Some of the areas seen include: Uptown Sedona, Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, Courthouse Butte, Jerome, Jerome Jail and The Jerome Grand Hotel. I was even able to film inside The Jerome Grand Hotel, so famous for ghosts and hauntings! The Next video visits the trails, views on the red rocks, Tuzigoot and Flagstaff.

Sedona, Arizona
Sedona /sᵻˈdoʊnə/ is a city that straddles the county line between Coconino and Yavapai counties in the northern Verde Valley region of the U.S. state of Arizona. As of the 2010 census, its population was 10,031.
Sedona's main attraction is its array of red sandstone formations. The formations appear to glow in brilliant orange and red when illuminated by the rising or setting sun. The red rocks form a popular backdrop for many activities, ranging from spiritual pursuits to the hundreds of hiking and mountain biking trails.
Sedona was named after Sedona Arabella Miller Schnebly (1877–1950), the wife of Theodore Carlton Schnebly, the city's first postmaster, who was celebrated for her hospitality and industriousness.
History
Native American history
The first documented human presence in Sedona area dates to between 11,500 to 9000 B.C. It was not until 1995 that a Clovis projectile point discovered in Honanki revealed the presence of the Paleo-Indians, who were big-game hunters. Around 9000 B.C., the pre-historic Archaic people appeared in the Verde Valley. These were hunter-gatherers and their presence in the area was longer than in other areas of the Southwest, most likely because of the ecological diversity and large amount of resources. They left by 300 A.D. There is an assortment of rock art left by the Archaic people in places near Sedona such as Palatki and Honanki.

Stunning Sedona Arizona HD Virtual Visit Full Length Video Tour
This is a HD Video of my latest trip to Sedona Arizona. I originally made this video for a disabled friend who sadly can't go on trips like this anymore. I wanted her to have, as much as possible, the feeling of being there, in the car with us. Click "show more' to read more. I filmed the entire video in HD so i could turn it into a blu-ray disc. I wanted her to have the best possible viewing for her HD TV, but this may not come through when viewed through youtube. It's HD and it looks great on most players, but it's not blu-ray HD. Lately I was thinking"why not share it for others who can't get to beautiful Sedona, Arizona?" I'll get the second part up when i can. By the way, she loved the video, but she prefers to mute the music i used and plays native american flute music in the back... -

I think this is the disc where i have a few scenes of inside Starbucks and the view from Starbucks because it's my favorite place to spend the first part of the day.
Some of the areas seen include: Uptown Sedona, Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, Courthouse Butte, Jerome, Jerome Jail and The Jerome Grand Hotel. I was even able to film inside The Jerome Grand Hotel, so famous for ghosts and hauntings! The Next video visits the trails, views on the red rocks, Tuzigoot and Flagstaff.

Trip to Sedona Arizona, Scenic Red Rock Drive Through Village of Oak Creek
Trip to Sedona AZ. on 02/16/2013 This was sort of a valentine's day get away, unfortunately it was not a couples trip. Our 3 year old Son had to come. Stayed at the Kings Ransom Hotel, it wasn't the Four Seasons, But for $120 U.S. dollars on a Saturday night you can't expect much. All in All the room was nice and clean, with a King size bed and a Pull out Sofa bed. T our surprise The Kings Ransom Hotel has a very Famous restaurant, called Elotes, managed by a world class, famous Chef. I don't know who he is,but his food was good, Not the best Mexican food I have ever had, but good. The most enjoyable part of the trip for me was driving trough the very nice scenery and driving one of our BMW's. ON this trip I enjoyed driving my wife's 525i E60. A natural sculpture formed from undulating waves of stone, Antelope Canyon is a palette of colour which teases the eye. From the surface, a gaping crevice is the only means of access, tempting the curious to enter. In bold contrast, the Grand Canyon is 1,600 metres deep and 16 kilometres long, the most colossal gorge in the world. The sight of this gigantic natural wonder is the exciting climax of any trip to the magnificent and majestic land of Arizona.
