As we celebrate our 10th anniversary of empowering Indianapolis youth to catch their dreams one star at a time. Funds are allocated across each of our programs which promote fitness, literacy and mentoring for local youth ages 7-16. Due to the Pacers Foundation's generosity and support, we're able to provide positive programs geared towards motivating youth to set goals, dream bigger and achieve more.
Thank you very much for the grant from the Pacers Foundation to support Damar’s Outpatientd Behavioral and Mental Health Clinic. The program teaches youth with developmental disabilities how to act in self-enhancing ways, develop positive relationships and move positive life choices. We are very grateful to the Pacers Foundation for its support of Damar’s mission to build better futures for children facing life’s greatest behavioral and developmental challenges.
Our mission is to provide one-on-one tutoring and educational advocacy for school-aged children impacted by homelessness. Our vision is to give them the educational tools necessary to achieve success and break the cycle of homelessness. Because of you, more homeless children will benefit from our programs. We are so grateful the Pacers Foundation chose to assist with our mission with this grant to School on Wheels.
Fifteen years ago, when I first started at Shepherd in the children’s program, I was one of the children who depended on your donations to get a meal every day. Because of your generosity, I made it ‘to and through’ four years of college and was able to graduate this past May.
Thanks to donors like you, 79 of our scholars have graduated high school. We are also very proud to say that of those 79 graduates, all of the scholars will be attending college this fall. This would not be possible without you. Thank you for making a real difference.
Your commitment to our mission has enabled us to provide independent, child-focused representation to children who have suffered abuse and/or neglect by their parents or guardians. By working together we can assure that every abused and/or neglected child has a voice in court. Thank you for all you do for the children we serve.
Thank you so much for your grant in support of an anti-bullying workshop aimed at teens with disabilities and their parents. In partnership with Bully Safe Indiana and the Peace Learning Center, the workshop focuses on helping teens and their parents identify signs of bullying and advocate for themselves or their child. The Pacers Foundation has been very generous to support this training.
I want to thank the Pacers Foundation for its support of Camp Delafield. We were able to assist 59 campers this year in achieving meaningful improvement in both social and academic skills. Forty-seven percent of our campers received financial assistance that would not have been possible with the help of individuals and foundations such as the Pacers Foundation. We are most grateful.
