It’s an uphill battle because
Every day’s getting better and better
Whether or not
The only news we need is the weather
And I will keep up my head because
I’m starting to see everything better
All the stairs in my way
Helps me realize it’s now or never
Now that’s it’s still not believing
So this is what we all have been expecting
All the answers will fall from the ceiling
Repetition’s covering our backs
Until it’s torn second to forever*
So this is what we all have been expecting
Iodine never surrender*
Repetition’s covering…
And it’s an uphill battle because
Every day gets a little bit longer
I’ll stay focused and
With time I’ll get a little stronger
I’ll take any opportunity
To take note of all that surrounds me
I’ll sit down and listen to pineapples
This time, I’ll take your hand in mind
This time, I know that will be fine
