    You are following the wrong trail. What matters is not who gave the cash to whom. What matter is why. What was promised and delivered to the illegal China donor first. So?

    Oh dear...Ernest Wong is heading for a cliff. He has been asked three times if he is sure he has never asked someone to sign a donation form when they had not donated...Now shown a very damaging email where he has done just what he denied.

    Ernest Wong was told to consider his evidence over the weekend. Doesn't seem to have given it ANY thought at all.

    This is getting more farcical by the moment. We are now dealing with Ernest Wong saying he can't recall because the information was whispered in his ear. "I, for one, am having difficulty following your evidence," says counsel assisting. Make that two.

    Ernest Wong has just denied discussing this inquiry with Jonathan Yee, a key person in the matter. Wong is then shown notes he made on his OWN phone while in China with Yee in Nov/Dec last year. Notes relate to this corruption inquiry.

    Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full! One for the master, And one for the dame...

    this is extremely confusing but there are now 3 bags of cash being referenced 1) the original Aldi bag delivered to Labor 2) a paper or plastic bag referenced before the March 12 fundraising dinner 3) a bag with receipts + cash taken home by Wong on the night of the dinner

    Ernest Wong claimed it was very late in the night, he'd had too much to drink and, as an elected MP, he didn't want to be taking home a big bag of cash after the dinner. That's when billionaire property developer Mr Huang volunteered to take the dosh.

    All Ernest Wong could remember was that it was a "big bag of cash" full of tens of thousands of dollars which billionaire property developer Huang took at the end of the dinner to deliver to Jamie Clements at Sussex Street headquarters.
