Ute

A ute is a light-commercial vehicle with an open tray at the rear. Abbreviated from ‘utility’, utes are traditionally built for tradies, but are now often bought as off-road adventure machines and even family cars. Extra and dual-cab models add cabin versatility and seating for up to five over a regular single cab, and most are available as either a pickup or cab-chassis, with a choice of two or four-wheel drive.
