Merzouga is a small village in southeastern Morocco, about 35 kilometres southeast of Rissani, about 55 kilometers from Erfoud.
The village is known for its proximity to Erg Chebbi, a Saharan erg, and it is for this reason a part of the itineraries of many tourists visiting Morocco. Merzouga has the largest natural underground body of water in Morocco.

Near the dunes of Erg Chebbi there are some other less known villages: Hassilabied 4 km away, Tanamoust 3 km away, Takoujt 1.5 km away, Khamlia 7 km away and Tisserdmine 15 km away.

Merzouga sand bath.
This video shows that my father has recovered after three days spent in Merzouga buried in hot sand three times the average of once every day. My father was suffering from pain in his left leg while sitting or sleeping from his thigh level to heel leg, for a period of three months went to the doctor and pharmacist.
However, on the fourth day he has back the same pain, but he decided to stay for 7 days in total and when he returned back home he became gradually recovering and fully improve one month.

في هذا الشريط يظهر أن والدي تعافى و الحمد لله بعد تلاث أيام أمضاها في مرزوڭة دُفن فيها في الرمال الساخنة ثلاث مرات بمعدل مرة كل يوم. كان والدي يعاني من آلام في رجله اليسرى أثناء الجلوس أو النوم من مستوى فخذه و حتى كعب رجله، لمدة ثلاث أشهر ذهب فيها إلى الطبيب و الصيدلي.
إلا أنه في اليوم الرابع عادت له نفس الآلام فأتم 7 أيام ولذى عودته إلى البيت أصبح يتعافى بالتدريج إلى أن تحسن تماما بعد عودته في ظرف شهر واحد.

This video shows that my father has recovered after three days spent in Merzouga buried in hot sand three times the average of once every day. My father was suffering from pain in his left leg while sitting or sleeping from his thigh level to heel leg, for a period of three months went to the doctor and pharmacist.
However, on the fourth day he has back the same pain, but he decided to stay for 7 days in total and when he returned back home he became gradually recovering and fully improve one month.

Erg Chebbi ist eine von zwei marokkanischen Sahara-Erg - großen Meere der Dünen von verwehten Sand. Die andere ist in der Nähe von Erg Chigaga M'hamid.
