Ladakh ("land of high passes") (Ladakhi: ལ་དྭགས la'dwags; Hindi: लद्दाख़; Urdu: لَدّاخ) is a region in the Indian Administered Jammu and Kashmir that currently extends from the Kuen Lun mountain range to the main Great Himalayas to the south, inhabited by people of Indo-Aryan and Tibetan descent. It is one of the most sparsely populated regions in Jammu and Kashmir and its culture and history are closely related to that of Tibet.
Historically, the region included the Baltistan (Baltiyul) valleys (now mostly in Pakistan), the entire upper Indus Valley, the remote Zanskar, Lahaul and Spiti to the south, much of Ngari including the Rudok region and Guge in the east, Aksai Chin in the northeast (extending to the Kun Lun Mountains), and the Nubra Valley to the north over Khardong La in the Ladakh Range. Contemporary Ladakh borders Tibet to the east, the Lahaul and Spiti regions to the south, the Vale of Kashmir, Jammu and Baltiyul regions to the west, and the southwest corner of Xinjiang across the Karakoram Pass in the far north. Ladakh is renowned for its remote mountain beauty and culture. Aksai Chin is one of the disputed border areas between China and India. It is administered by China as part of Hotan County but is also claimed by India as a part of the Ladakh region of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. In 1962, China and India fought a brief war over Aksai Chin and Arunachal Pradesh, but in 1993 and 1996 the two countries signed agreements to respect the Line of Actual Control.

Ladakh is that one place, which is by default on everyone's Bucket List. But what happens, when a pristine land becomes a tourist hotspot? Last year I went on a trip to Ladakh that changed my paradigm towards a lot of things. Like so many of you, I have a million memories that I shall cherish forever. But in some ways it was very different for me in the sense that I lived the Ladakhi life. Saw the world through their eyes. And it was in sharp contrast to how we see it. There is a lot to learn from Ladakh and its age-old sustainable practises and this short documentary talks about the same. Help me break the stereotypical Ladakh image. Share this. Or if not, just implement this awareness in your travels to every other place in the world and especially, LADAKH. Julley! Follow my advent...

Places to visit in Ladakh include: 1. Leh 2. Nubra Valley (camel riding) 3. Pangong Lake (overnight stay with locals) 4. Monasteries You will definitely need a reliable and good driver to bring you to places. The roads up and down the mountains are usually extremely rocky and bumpy. Lastly, the tourist season for Ladakh ends around mid-end Sept as the weather gets too cold and the roads would be too dangerous to drive on.

Take a tour of Landscape of Leh and Ladakh in India -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats. Not many people have heard of the Indian region of Leh and Ladakh, to their loss. It's an astoundingly beautiful part of the world with a very diverse landscape. There are high, snowy mountains, rocky hills, scenic waterways, and historic towns. Some of the towns in this remote part of India are hundreds of years old. Another important part of Leh and Ladakh are the Buddhist monasteries that are located here. Many of these monasteries have existed for hundreds of years and have intricate and colorful Buddhist architecture. The imagery and iconography of many of these temples draw deeply on Indian and Buddhist mythology. There are also many...

♡♡Please remembr to watch in HD ♡♡ In this video I share a few glimpses of my sublime journey to the oh-so-beautiful Srinagar and Ladakh located in the northern most state of India- Jammu & Kashmir. It is indeed the most serene and surreal place, particularly Ladkh, that I have ever been to in India. I was blown away by the natural landscape and at the same time amazed for being unaware that such a place existed in our very own India! I must say it is definitely a must do in everybody's bucket list :) Music credit: The Strokes- I'll try everything once
Can anyone ever imagine the movement of a vehicle up a steep mountain, with its ignition off? Sounds quite unbelievable! Well, this magnet magic can be experienced while you are traveling to Leh-Ladakh. Leh is one of the two districts that constitute Ladakh, the other being Kargil. It is a part of the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir. This place is called as the MAGNETIC HILL which is 30 km away from leh town. To reach the Magnetic Hill, Ladakh, you need to take the Leh-Kargil-Baltic National Highway. Leh is approximately 360 KM away from Jammu. The hill lies at a distance of 30 km from the town of Leh, at an elevation of around 14,000 feet above sea level.

iiiiiiiif...
you don't get a job,
though you're tryin' and you stop
believing that there's s.th. for you out there...
don't you lose your faith
and don't do any mistakes
though the devil on your shoulder's getting louder.
one thing i can tell you
is you should never sell your
soul and your body to the bad guys !
i know it's a temptation
but keep a little patience
'cause when you go to fast you fall for their lies.
i can imagine it's kind of hard
if you don't know how to start
working and gettin' money for a living.
but i think you should wait
for a good way to get payed;
don't go to the enemy i'm not kiddin'!
think about it now
i think that you're about
to be doin' a job that's making you an asshole.
i can guarantee
that this is going to be
unsatisfying and stressfull....
so....
don't don't don't don't don't become a cop !!!!
'cause being a cop is fucked up !!!
if people don't get a job
and demonstrate you beat'em up.
is that really what you wanna be doin' out there?
i know you don't, of course,
but the choice just ain't yours
when the chiefcommander behind you is getting louder.
you'll lose your selfesteem
and therefore you get mean,
treatin' people like you are superior.
don't you understand
that this gets out of hand:
you'll turn into a violent brainless creature.
so listen to my advice:
this is'n a propper price,
you shouldn't even be thinkin' about payin' that.
the way you would be changing
ain't worth no stupid payment.
they're gonna make you aggressive, dumb and braindead!
do you know how you can tell
a human from an animal?
ever heard about the little thing called reason?
you just give it away
'cause ev'ry order you obey...
why would you wanna be a policeman?
so....
don't don't don't don't don't become a cop !!!!
