From there, we bid farewell to a WWN Icon as Johnny Gargano has his final matches in EVOLVE: EVOVLE 68 - Deer Park, NY - September 10th EVOLVE 69 - Queens, NY - September 11th Thank you for your support! -------------------------------------- The new Top 5 is out and there is lots of movement, except at the top spot. It all leads to EVOLVE 66 on August 19th in Joppa, MD and EVOLVE 67 on the afternoon of August 20th in Brooklyn, NY Timothy Thatcher is still the man to beat, as his title reign survived both Marty Scurll at EVOLVE 64 and TJ Perkins at EVOLVE 65. However, Thatcher is faced with his toughest weekend ever as EVOLVE Champion on August 19th and 20th. 5) Cedric Alexander makes his first appearance in the Top 5 after going 1-1 at EVOLVE 64 and 65, with show stealing matches on both nights. Alexander has a chance to move way up the rankings with matches against TJP at EVOLVE 66 and Zack Sabre Jr. at EVOLVE 67. 4) Drew Gulak is back in at #4, as he is set to face Timothy Thatcher on August 20th in Brooklyn. Gulak has defeated Thatcher on numerous occasions, but Thatcher has never defeated Gulak. This is as big as it gets for Thatcher and Gulak, whether the EVOLVE Title is on the line or not. 3) Zack Sabre Jr. leaps back into the top 5 after defeating Jigsaw at EVOLVE 64 and Tony Nese at EVOLVE 65. He could be the #1 contender if he defeats Cody Rhodes on August 19th and Cedric Alexander on August 20th. 2) Drew Galloway says he is tying to save EVOLVE from itself, and he's moving back into title contention after defeating Johnny Gargano at EVOLVE 65 in an emotional battle. 1) Matt Riddle has a firm grip on the #1 spot and lots of momentum as he heads into the No Holds Barred EVOLVE Title Match on August 19th in Joppa, MD. Riddle defeated both Roderick Strong and Marty Scurll at the last EVOLVE weekend. Riddle says he will hurt Thatcher in the No Holds Barred environment. However, the last time Thatcher was in a No Holds Barred match he broke Biff Busick's thumb. Who will win on August 19th? Thank you for watching the new Top 5. Get ready for Summerslam weekend.
