Ride is a motorcycle racing video game developed and published by Milestone S.r.l.. The game was released on March 27, 2015 in Europe, and it was meant to be released on June 23, 2015 in North America for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 but was delayed to October 6, 2015.
On September 15, 2014, Milestone announced the development of Ride, a motorcycle racing video game. The studio had previously developed racing games within the licensed series World Rally Championship, MotoGP, SBK and MXGP.
Ride may refer to:
A video game is an electronic game that involves human interaction with a user interface to generate visual feedback on a video device such as a TV screen or computer monitor. The word video in video game traditionally referred to a raster display device, but it now implies any type of display device that can produce two- or three-dimensional images. Video games are sometimes believed to be a form of art, but this designation is controversial.
The electronic systems used to play video games are known as platforms; examples of these are personal computers and video game consoles. These platforms range from large mainframe computers to small handheld computing devices. Specialized video games such as arcade games, while common in the 1980s, have gradually declined in use due to the widespread availability of home video game devices (e.g., PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) and video games on desktop and laptop computers and smartphones.
The input device used for games, the game controller, varies across platforms. Common controllers include gamepads, mouses, keyboards, joysticks, the touchscreens of mobile devices and buttons. In addition to video and (in most cases) audio feedback, some games include haptic, vibration or force feedback peripherals.
Video is an electronic medium for the recording, copying, playback, broadcasting, and display of moving visual media.
Video systems vary greatly in the resolution of the display, how they are refreshed, and the rate of refreshed, and 3D video systems exist. They can also be carried on a variety of media, including radio broadcast, tapes, DVDs, computer files etc.
Video technology was first developed for Mechanical television systems, which were quickly replaced by cathode ray tube (CRT) television systems, but several new technologies for video display devices have since been invented. Charles Ginsburg led an Ampex research team developing one of the first practical video tape recorder (VTR). In 1951 the first video tape recorder captured live images from television cameras by converting the camera's electrical impulses and saving the information onto magnetic video tape.
Video recorders were sold for $50,000 in 1956, and videotapes cost $300 per one-hour reel. However, prices gradually dropped over the years; in 1971, Sony began selling videocassette recorder (VCR) decks and tapes to the public.
A game is structured form of play, usually undertaken for enjoyment and sometimes used as an educational tool. Games are distinct from work, which is usually carried out for remuneration, and from art, which is more often an expression of aesthetic or ideological elements. However, the distinction is not clear-cut, and many games are also considered to be work (such as professional players of spectator sports or games) or art (such as jigsaw puzzles or games involving an artistic layout such as Mahjong, solitaire, or some video games).
Key components of games are goals, rules, challenge, and interaction. Games generally involve mental or physical stimulation, and often both. Many games help develop practical skills, serve as a form of exercise, or otherwise perform an educational, simulational, or psychological role.
Attested as early as 2600 BC, games are a universal part of human experience and present in all cultures. The Royal Game of Ur, Senet, and Mancala are some of the oldest known games.

We’ve seen a lot of video game commercials over the years that range anywhere between very weird, highly disturbing and extremely awesome. Some ad agencies go a little too far and make something that’s simply too hot for TV. Here are 10 banned video game commercials that shocked the world! 1. Life Is Short - Xbox This Xbox commercial called Life Is Short got banned because it was deemed to be too shocking for television. We think it’s quite unique and clever to see a baby grow up in the spawn of 30 seconds and land in a grave as an old man. I 2. Funbox - Xbox Microsoft's ad agency was on a roll by making not one but two banned commercials for the original Xbox. Apparently it’s illegal to advertise a product that doesn’t exist like the Funbox in this commercial. We don’t know if they we...

Video games have grown from some truly humble, simple beginnings into complex entities that not only look like feature films, but can often now feel like them too. In the early days of the arcade and Atari eras, games typically carried a singular focus, serving up one simple task as part of a solitary, concrete purpose. Pong was two pa...
