I was a joke because of my hair. Being in college really let me know I don’t want to live a regular life. I want to be rich, I want to be a celebrity, I want to be famous. I want to have this hair and people don’t laugh, they get excited.”
Filmed in the Atlanta suburbs where the red-headed Lil Yachty grew up, this 14-minute film — sort of like a docu-musical — is a gorgeous and goofy look at his rise. It’s full of surreal reenactments, boat trips, and interviews with Lil Yachty’s mom, his uncle Darnell Boat, his go-to producers Burberry Perry and Earl, and all his good friends in the Sailing Team.
Plus! There are musical performances of two new songs — “So Many People” and “All In” — both from Lil Yachty's new mixtape Summer Songs 2, which comes out tonight, July 19, at midnight EST. The kid had a dream and he made it real.

Life has been busy for us. Travel, full-time boat repair and sailing has really upset our video production process. We are now in Boston and moving North. This episode will show you what we were doing in Niantic, CT. We untied the lines about a week ago and we will be on the move constantly. The boat is doing great and she sails really well. We've learned so much and life is good.

For me, sometimes extreme boredom, frustration with the motion of the boat, feeling isolated/alone, and missing friends and family bucket loads can lead to a little bit of a breakdown every now and then. I’m only human! There are always dramas onboard (EVERYONE has them), weather it be physical or mental. When La Vagabonde has been rocking and rolling back and forth for 4 days straight, and I’ve been copping bruises from the furniture and hoping for the slightest break in the weather that never comes, a boiling pot of water being thrown at me you could say was my last straw. The good times always end up evening out with the bad, but the unpredictability of each day can be stressful and has been since day 1. One day can be the best day of my life, filled with aqua blue waters, smooth sails, palm trees and sunshine, and the next can be the worst….. no sleep for a few days, breaking expensive equipment, haven’t showered or eaten and I’m questioning what on earth I’m doing trying to sail around the world having no sailing experience. But in the end, it’s all worth it for me. I love every minute of it, what we have seen and done around the world with Riley on La Vagabonde. But holey tolitos sometimes it can be tough! Sailing
Sailing comprises wind propulsion of a craft by means of sails and steering it over water, ice or land, depending on the type of craft. A sailor manages the force of the wind on the sails by adjusting their angle with respect to the moving sailing craft and sometimes by adjusting the sail area. The force transmitted from the sails is resisted by forces from the hull, keel, and rudder of a sailing craft, by forces from skate runners for an iceboat, and by forces from wheels for a land sailing craft to allow steering a course on a point of sail with respect to the true wind.
While there are still some places in the world where sail-powered passenger, fishing and trading vessels are used, these craft have become rarer as internal combustion engines have become economically viable in even the poorest and most remote areas. In most countries sailing is enjoyed as a recreational activity or as a sport. Recreational sailing or yachting can be divided into racing and cruising. Cruising can include extended offshore and ocean-crossing trips, coastal sailing within sight of land, and daysailing.

Rod Stewart
Roderick David "Rod" Stewart, CBE (born 10 January 1945) is a British rock singer-songwriter. Born and raised in London, he is of Scottish and English ancestry. Stewart is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold over 100 million records worldwide.
He has had six consecutive number one albums in the UK, and his tally of 62 UK hit singles includes 31 that reached the top 10, six of which gained the number one position. He has had 16 top ten singles in the US, with four reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2007, he received a CBE at Buckingham Palace for services to music.
With his distinctive raspy singing voice, Stewart came to prominence in the late 1960s and early 1970s with The Jeff Beck Group and then with Faces, though his music career had begun in 1962 when he took up busking with a harmonica. In October 1963 he joined the Dimensions as a harmonica player and part-time vocalist, then in 1964 he joined Long John Baldry and the All Stars. Later, in August 1964, he also signed a solo contract, releasing his first solo single, "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl", in October of the same year. He maintained a solo career alongside a group career, releasing his debut solo album An Old Raincoat Won't Ever Let You Down (US: The Rod Stewart Album), in 1969. His early albums were a fusion of rock, folk music, soul music and R&B. His aggressive blues work with The Jeff Beck Group and the Faces influenced heavy metal genres. From the late 1970s through the 1990s, Stewart's music often took on a new wave or soft rock/middle-of-the-road quality, and in the early 2000s he released a series of successful albums interpreting the Great American Songbook.

For me, sometimes extreme boredom, frustration with the motion of the boat, feeling isolated/alone, and missing friends and family bucket loads can lead to a little bit of a breakdown every now and then. I’m only human! There are always dramas onboard (EVERYONE has them), weather it be physical or mental. When La Vagabonde has been rocking and rolling back and forth for 4 days straight, and I’ve been copping bruises from the furniture and hoping for the slightest break in the weather that never comes, a boiling pot of water being thrown at me you could say was my last straw. The good times always end up evening out with the bad, but the unpredictability of each day can be stressful and has been since day 1. For me, sometimes extreme boredom, frustration with the motion of the boat, feeling isolated/alone, and missing friends and family bucket loads can lead to a little bit of a breakdown every now and then. I’m only human! There are always dramas onboard (EVERYONE has them), weather it be physical or mental. When La Vagabonde has been rocking and rolling back and forth for 4 days straight, and I’ve been copping bruises from the furniture and hoping for the slightest break in the weather that never comes, a boiling pot of water being thrown at me you could say was my last straw. The good times always end up evening out with the bad, but the unpredictability of each day can be stressful and has been since day 1. One day can be the best day of my life, filled with aqua blue waters, smooth sails, palm trees and sunshine, and the next can be the worst….. no sleep for a few days, breaking expensive equipment, haven’t showered or eaten and I’m questioning what on earth I’m doing trying to sail around the world having no sailing experience. But in the end, it’s all worth it for me. I love every minute of it, what we have seen and done around the world with Riley on La Vagabonde. But holey tolitos sometimes it can be tough! For me, sometimes extreme boredom, frustration with the motion of the boat, feeling isolated/alone, and missing friends and family bucket loads can lead to a little bit of a breakdown every now and then. I’m only human! There are always dramas onboard (EVERYONE has them), weather it be physical or mental. Seriously, did you say volcanoes and boobies?!?!? Yep, we sail to Barren Island. It's a very remote island in the middle of the Andaman Sea. We stern hook Delos to the cliffs, break out the dive gear and do some incredible diving. The girls decide it's going to be a clothing optional cruise, the boys go fishing, and Delos gets covered in volcanic ash when the wind blows the wrong way. Good stuff! Footage from April 2015. Episode 2 of Sailing with "SOPHISTICATED LADY" ~ DEPORTED! Join us on our rescue mission as we attempt to retrieve Shascha, our new crew member that was arriving from Russia and deported by St Maarten immigration. In a nutshell, Shascha had all the necessary documentation and Visa with her passport on arrival to St Maarten, but Immigration had implemented a brand new rule outlining that anyone arriving as 'crew' was now considered to be a working employee and required to have an import permit issued before their arrival on the island... only problem is nobody knew and they never told anyone until they actually arrived... Eight strangers and one dog sail across the Atlantic together in a 14 meter sailboat. Join the crew as they navigate through the excitement and struggles of each day, sailing from Spain to the West Indies. The viewpoints expressed throughout this mini documentary are sincere expressions of how each of us were feeling at the moment of filming. 75. SV Delos Sailing- Gettin' on that lean!
Sailing time! Delos leaves the Andaman Islands behind and sets out on our 1,700 sail to Cocos Keeling, Australia! We plan for about 3 weeks at sea. The sail is one of our trickiest avoiding the changing monsoon season in the northern Indian Ocean, and setting ourselves up for the massive south east tradewinds of the south. We run down the coast of Sumatra, Indonesia dodging squalls and dealing with big seas. We make a couple of good weather calls, a few bad ones, but after getting knocked around a bit we finnally cross the equator and Delos is in the Southern hemisphere again! Footage from April 2015. 71. SV Delos Sailing- Fish On!!!
After Delos is destroyed by volcanic ash we do our best to clean up the mess and get the hell out of dodge! We sail to the funny little town of Myanbunder, eat some butter chicken and grab some fresh veggies. While there we here a rumor of an island on the West coast with elephants running free. We drop everything and set sail for Interview Island. On our overnight passage we catch a crazy amount of fish! Seriously, the fish are jumping on our line and it's awesome! We make it to Interview Island only to get turned away because we have the wrong permit. Seriously, did you say volcanoes and boobies?!?!? Yep, we sail to Barren Island. It's a very remote island in the middle of the Andaman Sea. We stern hook Delos to the cliffs, break out the dive gear and do some incredible diving. The girls decide it's going to be a clothing optional cruise, the boys go fishing, and Delos gets covered in volcanic ash when the wind blows the wrong way. Good stuff!

Episode 2 of Sailing with "SOPHISTICATED LADY" ~ DEPORTED!
Join us on our rescue mission as we attempt to retrieve Shascha, our new crew member that was arriving from Russia and deported by St Maarten immigration.
In a nutshell, Shascha had all the necessary documentation and Visa with her passport on arrival to St Maarten, but Immigration had implemented a brand new rule outlining that anyone arriving as 'crew' was now considered to be a working employee and required to have an import permit issued before their arrival on the island... only problem is nobody knew and they never told anyone until they actually arrived... NICE!
Oh well, sometimes through hardships and the actions of over-zealous officials that take their jobs WAY too seriously, new adventures are born... so join us on our mission and attempt to rescue Shascha!

Eight strangers and one dog sail across the Atlantic together in a 14 meter sailboat. Join the crew as they navigate through the excitement and struggles of each day, sailing from Spain to the West Indies.
The viewpoints expressed throughout this mini documentary are sincere expressions of how each of us were feeling at the moment of filming. Since moving on from the boat, I have developed an immense appreciation for everyone involved in the crossing, even Captain Claes. Crossing the Atlantic was the most challenging 26 days of my life. Having been incarcerated in that 14 meter space, I refuse to ever again allow myself to be trapped in an environment detrimental to my happiness. This is a commitment I owe to the journey in "Joshua" and am forever grateful for.
I appreciated all the encouraging and critical comments directed towards the film but the negative comments addressed to other members of the crew and the captain were unfair and disrespectful so comments were removed. Enjoy!

Sailing time! Delos leaves the Andaman Islands behind and sets out on our 1,700 sail to Cocos Keeling, Australia! We plan for about 3 weeks at sea. The sail is one of our trickiest avoiding the changing monsoon season in the northern Indian Ocean, and setting ourselves up for the massive south east tradewinds of the south. We run down the coast of Sumatra, Indonesia dodging squalls and dealing with big seas. We make a couple of good weather calls, a few bad ones, but after getting knocked around a bit we finnally cross the equator and Delos is in the Southern hemisphere again!

wn.com/75. Sv Delos Sailing Gettin' On That Lean
Sailing time! Delos leaves the Andaman Islands behind and sets out on our 1,700 sail to Cocos Keeling, Australia! We plan for about 3 weeks at sea. The sail is one of our trickiest avoiding the changing monsoon season in the northern Indian Ocean, and setting ourselves up for the massive south east tradewinds of the south. We run down the coast of Sumatra, Indonesia dodging squalls and dealing with big seas. We make a couple of good weather calls, a few bad ones, but after getting knocked around a bit we finnally cross the equator and Delos is in the Southern hemisphere again!

After Delos is destroyed by volcanic ash we do our best to clean up the mess and get the hell out of dodge! We sail to the funny little town of Myanbunder, eat some butter chicken and grab some fresh veggies. While there we here a rumor of an island on the West coast with elephants running free. We drop everything and set sail for Interview Island. On our overnight passage we catch a crazy amount of fish! Seriously, the fish are jumping on our line and it's awesome!
We make it to Interview Island only to get turned away because we have the wrong permit. We chill for a bit, eat some sushi, and make a plan for a mission the next day in the dinghy cutting through a river back to Myanbunder to get our permit.
