This film shows the VTA (Valley Transport Authority) light rail of San José (California) on North 1st Street around Civic Center and Japantown stations.
This system has a length of 67.9 km serving San José and it's surrounding suburbs. It is operated by a fleet of 99 Japanese light rail vehicles manufactured by Kinki Sharyo.
With light rail and express buses ready to serve you, VTA will provide event goers with an easy, convenient and affordable way to this state-of-the-art entertainment venue.
Your best fare option is to use a pre-paid Clipper Card. That way, you'll avoid long lines on the day of the event. You can also use the EventTIK mobile app, the VTA Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) found on light rail platforms, or the Caltrain event pass.

The VTA Ohlone-Chynoweth station is where the Blue Line takes a break from its freeway median existance to branch off a short spur to Almaden. Despite the VTA's exceedingly cheap single direction ABS signaling system (no reverse signal, even at interlockings), they did bother to interlock the signals with the pedestrian crossing warning devices at this particiular station. You can see how they work in this video montage.

Despite the VTA's exceedingly cheap single direction ABS signaling system (no reverse signal, even at interlockings), they did bother to interlock the signals with the pedestrian crossing warning devices at this particiular station.
