RSPCA releases horrific footage

The RSPCA is calling for information about a disturbing video of a man holding a cat that appears to have been skinned.

"The video that was sent to the RSPCA shows graphic content of animal cruelty and that's why it's imperative that the RSPCA finds this person," she said.

"The video contains things that would be disturbing to anyone who saw it. Our main focus is identifying anyone who it is in the video

"Cruelty is cruelty and we are calling on people to please identity him and come forward. If you recognise yourself, then please come forward."

WAtoday has chosen to blur the graphic image, which shows the man grinning as he holds the dead cat by the neck and tail, making it move in a grotesque dance.

Anyone with information on the identity of the man shown or who may be able to assist with information that would support the investigations should contact the RSPCA.
