Intouch Holdings

Intouch Holdings or former Shin Corporation (Thai: ชิน คอร์ปอเรชั่น) is a thai holding company established on 21 June 1983 as Shinawatra Computer Service and Investment. The Company’s initial business was trading, rental and computer maintenance and registered as a listed company and trade on the Stock Exchange of Thailand on 31 August 1990. The Company has progressed from this to operated in telecommunication business. On 13 November 1992, INTOUCH was registered as a public limited company and on 31 March 2014, the name was changed to Intouch Holdings Plc.

INTOUCH is a holding company, its operation is investment in telecommunication, media, information technology and digital contents. At the present, the principal business units are divided to three main businesses; are wireless telecommunication, satellite and international business, and other businesses.

The Company concentrated its investments on the businesses with a potential to grow and a good return on investment, with main focus on the investment in wireless telecommunication, satellite & International and other businesses. The Company had set out a policy to expand into telecom, media, IT and digital content including other related businesses that had a potential and would render an added-value to the group in the future.

Southern Poverty Law Center

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is an American nonprofit legal advocacy organization specializing in civil rights and public interest litigation. It is noted for its legal victories against white supremacist groups, its legal representation for victims of hate groups, its classification of militia movement and other extremist organizations, and its educational programs that promote tolerance. The SPLC also classifies and lists hate groups—organizations that in its opinion "attack or malign an entire class of people, typically for their immutable characteristics." The SPLC's hate group list has been the source of some controversy.

In 1971, Morris Dees and Joseph J. Levin Jr. founded the SPLC as a civil rights law firm based in Montgomery, Alabama. Civil rights leader Julian Bond joined Dees and Levin and served as president of the board between 1971 and 1979. The SPLC's litigating strategy involves filing civil suits for damages on behalf of the victims of hate group harassment, threats, and violence.

A public limited company (legally abbreviated to plc) is a type of public company (publicly held company) under United Kingdom company law, some Commonwealth jurisdictions, and the Republic of Ireland. It is a limited (liability) company whose shares may be freely sold and traded to the public (although a plc may also be privately held, often by another plc), with a minimum share capital of £50,000 and the letters PLC after its name. Similar companies in the United States are called publicly traded companies.

A PLC can be either an unlisted or listed company on the stock exchanges. In the United Kingdom, a public limited company usually must include the words "public limited company" or the abbreviation "PLC" or "plc" at the end and as part of the legal company name. Welsh companies may instead choose to end their names with ccc, an abbreviation for cwmni cyfyngedig cyhoeddus. However, some public limited companies (mostly nationalised concerns) incorporated under special legislation are exempted from bearing any of the identifying suffixes. The term "public limited company" and the "PLC"/"plc" suffix were introduced in 1974; prior to this, all limited companies bore the suffix "Limited" ("Ltd"), which is still used by private limited companies.

In Touch Weekly is an American celebrity gossip magazine. The magazine is focused on celebrity news, fashion, beauty, relationships and lifestyle, and is geared towards a younger readership, billing itself as "fast and fun", along with making claims about their lower cover price on their front cover to encourage buyers to purchase their magazine rather than the other titles on a supermarket checkout rack.

The magazine was launched in 2002 by Bauer Publishing; Richard Spencer was editor from its launch until 2010.

The magazine shares a publisher with its sister magazine Life & Style Weekly, a similar weekly gossip magazine. Whereas In Touch is focused more on celebrity gossip, Life & Style bills itself on giving readers lifestyle tips on how to incorporate celebrity beauty and fashion into their lives.

On September 18, 2006, after the death of Daniel Wayne Smith, son of Anna Nicole Smith, Getty Images sold the last photos taken of Daniel alive at his mother's bedside to In Touch Weekly and Entertainment Tonight for a reported $650,000.

InTouch

InTouch is a quality control firm based in Shenzhen, China. The company has been reported to provide quality control services in factories across China to several foreign firms.

Background

InTouch was founded by an American citizen, Andrew Reich in Shenzhen, in 2008. Reich grew up in Long Island, New York, had been working in a quality control firm in Shenzhen since 2003. During this time, he observed many industrial issues arising from integrity and communication in the QC sector, which led him to start this company with the help of a few American investors.

As a quality control firm, InTouch visits factories across China to inspect merchandise and analyse production facilities for quality and consistency. The company claims its clients include some of America’s largest house-ware and cookware brands.
