WHICH was legal during the Clinton administration...and don't forget Barney Frank, (D) said there was "no problem with Fannie May"! Several sharp investors knew what was going on! Even Senator McCain warned Congress, but the Democrats were the majority so, screw the poor people and the middle class, "we don't have time to look into this," said the "good 'ole boys" of Congress.
"We need to concentrate on Re-election!"
The "D's" are really concerned about the poor and the middle class? YEP! Right after they get their piece of the pie....if they have time!

Introduction
The Center for Public Integrity was founded in 1989 by Charles Lewis. We are one of the country's oldest and largest nonpartisan, nonprofit investigative news organizations. Our mission: to reveal abuses of power, corruption and dereliction of duty by powerful public and private institutions in order to cause them to operate with honesty, integrity, accountability and to put the public interest first.
