Helena Bengtsson

Helena Bengtsson, Sweden and Britain, is editor for data projects at the Guardian in London.

Before that she spent twenty years at Sveriges Television, the national broadcasting company of Sweden. There she served as database editor for the news and current affairs department for seven years. 

In 2006 and 2007, she was a database editor at the Center for Public Integrity in Washington, D.C. In 2010, she was awarded the Stora Journalistpriset (Great Journalism Award) for Valpejl.se, a website profiling every candidate in that season’s Swedish elections.
