FaltyDL - Drugs Feat Rosie Lowe

Posted by 5 blogs • Download: AmazoniTunes
After dropping the FaltyDL moniker last year for an album exploring his IDM roots, Drew Lustman returns to the present on a new track with London singer Rosie Lowe (featured on Stack №54), whose voice he first heard when remixing a track she was on.

Noname - Diddy Bop (feat. Raury & Cam O'bi)

Posted by 4 blogs • Download: AmazoniTunes
This week—following guest spots with Chance The Rapper, Mick Jenkins, and Saba—Chicago MC/slam poet Fatimah Warner (aka Noname) self-releases her debut project, a highly-conscious effort that's as somber as it is warm and hopeful.

Vanishing Twin - Vanishing Twin Syndrome (Radio Edit)

Download: AmazoniTunes
Formed by Fanfarlo's Cathy Lucas, this new English band delivers a distinct psych-pop sound fans of Stereolab/Broadcast should dig. Debut LP Choose Your Own Adventure is due next month but, for now, you can choose this song's edit, or the full 8-minute version.

MADEIRA - Come On Thru

Posted by 5 blogs • Download: AmazoniTunes
In need of a creative outlet after parting ways with the band she helped co-found (blog darlings Yumi Zouma) and relocating to Auckland last year, Kim Pflaum revived her dormant solo project, MADEIRA. A debut EP of Balearic dream-pop is out next month.

Jacques Greene - You Can't Deny

Posted by 15 blogs • Download: AmazoniTunes
We last heard new music from Jacques Greene way back in fall of 2014. The influential Canadian producer (and fashion obsessive) returns to Hudson Mohawke's LuckyMe label with a Detroit-influenced track that Exclaim calls "sweaty and soul-drenched."

More from artists on this week's Stack available at Amoeba Music: here, and here.

Katie Dey - Only to Trip and Fall Down Again

Flood Network, the new album from Australian home recordist Katie Dey.
GOOD READ

MTV on Stranger Things, Synthwave, and how Tangerine Dream soundtracked the 80s:

"Tangerine Dream are having a TV moment, with songs featured on Stranger Things and Mr. Robot, and Tangerine Dream–influenced soundtracks on Halt and Catch Fire and Vice Principals."

Thanks for listening!
