The International union Carhaul Division announced today they have reached a second tentative agreement on a national contract. They will present it to the local officers on August 4, and it will go out to a membership vote at some point after that. 

Teamster pension activists from the Twin Cities met recently with Congressman Keith Ellison (D-MN). They reported having a very fruitful discussion. 

Hoffa’s key West Coast vice president, Rome Aloise, could face a lot more than just expulsion from the Teamsters Union; he has just admitted that he is under criminal investigation. It’s now about more than corruption charges by the Independent Review Board for Aloise. 

“We are fed up!” That was the message delivered on picket signs and with a united voice at the Freight National Grievance Panel in San Diego on July 12.

The Hoffa Campaign has accepted an invitation to debate Fred Zuckerman on August 25 at a debate organized by the IBT Election Supervisor. But will Hoffa show up or chicken out? (Reprinted from Teamsters United)
