This cute book has only 5 words (4 repeated words in different order + “There!” in the end). We love the rhyme and the creative wordplay created by Emily Gravett. You will hear this book read aloud 3 times here – first, I read it aloud, then Max (3 and a half years old) and I read and discuss the pictures, and then Max “reads” it on his own. Little ones will enjoy it now and will continue to grow into understanding of the humor and wordplay. It is a primer on shape, color, language, and perhaps, mostly, on imagination. Then I ordered and bought Orange Pear Apple Bear – the book written and illustrated by Emily Gravett. Max was laughing when I read it to him for the first time.
