Superhero
In modern popular fiction, a superhero (sometimes rendered super-hero or super hero) is a type of heroic character possessing extraordinary talents, supernatural phenomena, or superhuman powers and is dedicated to a moral goal or protecting the public. A female superhero is sometimes called a superheroine (also rendered super-heroine or super heroine). Fiction centered on such characters, especially in American comic books since the 1930s, is known as superhero fiction.
By most definitions, characters do not require actual supernatural or superhuman powers or phenomena to be deemed superheroes. While the Dictionary.com definition of "superhero" is "A figure, especially in a comic strip or cartoon, endowed with superhuman powers and usually portrayed as fighting evil or crime," the longstanding Merriam-Webster dictionary gives the definition as "a fictional hero having extraordinary or superhuman powers; also : an exceptionally skillful or successful person". Terms such as masked crime fighters, costumed adventurers or masked vigilantes are sometimes used to refer to characters such as the Spirit, who may not be explicitly referred to as superheroes but nevertheless share similar traits.

Superheroes (The Script song)
"Superheroes" is a song written by Danny O'Donoghue and Mark Sheehan of Irish pop rock band The Script with songwriter James Barry. The song was originally recorded by the band for inclusion on their fourth studio album, No Sound Without Silence (2014).
The track was first released by Columbia Records on 22 July 2014 as the lead single promoting the album. The single was released in Ireland on 29 August 2014 and in the United Kingdom on 31 August 2014.
Composition
According to The Script lead vocalist Danny O'Donoghue, "Superheroes" is a song written for "the unsung heroes out in the world". The song, which calls out "people who are going through the hardest of times but can keep their head held high", has drawn comparisons by some music critics to "Firework", originally performed by American singer Katy Perry, in terms of the song's lyrical themes.
Recording
"Superheroes" was the first song written by the band for their fourth studio album, setting a musical template for the production of the new album. The track also features additional guitar played by producer Andrew Frampton, a long-time collaborator with The Script.

Superheroes (EP)
Superheroes is an EP by the German power metal band Edguy, released in 2005. Michael Kiske of Helloween has a guest appearance. On this EP, the band has moved away from the sound they had developed on their previous album Hellfire Club. The songs on "Superheroes" are much less akin to the band's native style of power metal, but tends towards the direction of hard rock.
In addition to the title track, which also appears on the band's 2006 album Rocket Ride, the EP includes 5 other tracks. The fourth track, an epic track titled "Judas at the Opera", is somewhat reminiscent to Tobias Sammet's project Avantasia. It also features vocals from Michael Kiske of Helloween and Avantasia fame. The fifth track is a cover of Magnum's song "The Spirit". The final track, an epic version of "Superheroes", is a slower version of the song with only orchestral backdrop and Tobias Sammet's singing, thus giving it a more balladesque and operatic feel.
The publication of the EP was preceded by the release of a five-track DVD, which included the video of the song "Superheroes", footage from a Brazilian show and documentaries shot on tour and during the recording of Rocket Ride. It was the first video album released by Edguy.

《Super Hero》為2024年新馬賀歲電影《撲克王者》之主題曲，由電影男主之一的鬼才黃明志作詞作曲。接著，《Super Hero》也找來了位身於男主群內的林德榮大哥獻聲合唱，也算是黃明志首次與馬來西亞著名長青樹華人DJ的跨界合作。
《Super Hero》以磅礴的電子搖滾曲風講述著程家朗（林德榮飾）與黃小七（黃明志飾）於電影情節裡的邂逅，由一開始的水火不容再逐漸到雙方放下歧見，簇護相擁的兄弟情。歌曲以略帶攻擊性的電子合成音開場再承接節奏吉他示意電影裡正在磨合的兩人，歌曲副歌也讓兩位男主同台競飆歌曲主題，彼此輪番叮囑對方「我是你的超級英雄！」。《Super Hero》除了作為電影主題曲之外，也希望能傾倒滿滿的正能量給聽眾，讓電吉他的每一次撥弦彈掃所有堆積於你心中的烏霾。
最後，《撲克王者》也雲集了如王雷及姜皓文等，來自新加坡/馬來西亞與香港三地的影視巨星。《撲克王者》把眾星匯聚於一影視棚內彼此切磋演技，為2024年新馬聲勢最浩大的龍年賀歲片。

This song is pretty inspiring to me as well~! I love it very much, and I'd rate it a 10 as well. To be honest, I usually don't listen to this genre of music, but Simon is definitely one of my favorite artists~ I had first heard Diablo and then it escalated into me listening to Soul 4 Sale, Flesh, Joystick, so on and so forth. Now I have a lot of his songs downloaded. And I regret nothing.

在我們的小的時候（尤其男生）最愛看和Super Hero相關的卡通和電影，讓我們天真的以為，世界處處有奇跡，人人都可以當Super Hero。看到任何不公不義，憑一己之力就要改變全世界，消滅敵人...
長大了才發現，無論你想做什麼事，你要顧到家人的感受，親朋戚友的質疑，三姑六婆的白眼... 當想要對抗強權，想要為公平正義發聲的時候，你甚至會受到錢財，自由，甚至生命的威脅... 久而久之，我們便漸漸失去了對Super hero的幻想，漸漸學習面對現實，然後開始融入了大人的世界，慢慢地變成了他們...
我第一次有這種感覺，是當我被政府打壓關進暗無天日的牢裡好多天，當時我根本求助無門。想要用錢來解決，但我才發現原來我的錢不夠用... 還要我的同事和女朋友在外面到處求別人借錢幫忙...
旁邊的獄友笑我，他說 “如果你在網絡上的“Like”可以拿來換錢，一個Like一塊錢就夠了！你現在早就自由了... 你看你現在的樣子，那些在網絡上口口聲聲說支持你的人又為你做了什麼？”
從那時候開始我就告訴自己，如果這次我能平安走出去，我要繼續創作！繼續為不公不義發聲！但錢我照樣要賺！有了錢，我才可以去解決在“逞英雄”的路上所遇到的麻煩。先有本事救自己，才去救別人！
這首歌，就是在告訴自己，也在告訴身邊的朋友們：莫忘初衷，烈火莫熄，繼續勇敢的當自己的Super Hero！

人們於波譎雲詭的世界追逐真相，燃亮這狡黠的鋼筋森林，化身英雄指引凡者通曉社會險惡之道，英雄洞悉一切卻是否能看清自己？
《Super Hero》為2024年新馬賀歲電影《撲克王者》之主題曲，由電影男主之一的鬼才黃明志作詞作曲。接著，《Super Hero》也找來了位身於男主群內的林德榮大哥獻聲合唱，也算是黃明志首次與馬來西亞著名長青樹華人DJ的跨界合作。
《Super Hero》以磅礴的電子搖滾曲風講述著程家朗（林德榮飾）與黃小七（黃明志飾）於電影情節裡的邂逅，由一開始的水火不容再逐漸到雙方放下歧見，簇護相擁的兄弟情。歌曲以略帶攻擊性的電子合成音開場再承接節奏吉他示意電影裡正在磨合的兩人，歌曲副歌也讓兩位男主同台競飆歌曲主題，彼此輪番叮囑對方「我是你的超級英雄！」。《Super Hero》除了作為電影主題曲之外，也希望能傾倒滿滿的正能量給聽眾，讓電吉他的每一次撥弦彈掃所有堆積於你心中的烏霾。
最後，《撲克王者》也雲集了如王雷及姜皓文等，來自新加坡/馬來西亞與香港三地的影視巨星。《撲克王者》把眾星匯聚於一影視棚內彼此切磋演技，為2024年新馬聲勢最浩大的龍年賀歲片。

This song is pretty inspiring to me as well~! I love it very much, and I'd rate it a 10 as well. To be honest, I usually don't listen to this genre of music, but Simon is definitely one of my favorite artists~ I had first heard Diablo and then it escalated into me listening to Soul 4 Sale, Flesh, Joystick, so on and so forth. Now I have a lot of his songs downloaded. And I regret nothing.

In modern popular fiction, a superhero (sometimes rendered super-hero or super hero) is a type of heroic character possessing extraordinary talents, supernatural phenomena, or superhuman powers and is dedicated to a moral goal or protecting the public.
