Wellington Protest Against the World Dairy Summit

Monday 8 November - 12.00pm

Starts at the bucket fountain in Cuba Mall, then march to Fonterra's offices in Vodafone House at Midland Park. Bring all your friends, drums, placards and lets of energy to show Fonterra we are not going to tolerate their abuse of animals and our environment.

But first -things to get involved with during the lead up:

Sunday 7th Nov:
Come along to a vegan pot luck dinner and hear about the plans for the summit, learn about more actions and discuss any legal questions you might have. If you were planning on coming to any of the demos during the Summit or are going to organise your own solidarity actions you should come along.

11.30 - onwards rally outside Skycity

Wednesday 10th Nov:

8am - 9am outside Skycity
12.00 noon - Office demo at the Gold Sponsor Orica
Where: 123 Carlton Gore Road, New Market

Thursday 11th Nov:
8am - 9am outside Skycity
7pm – Debrief and dinner following the conclusion of the Summit.
Bring a plate of yummy vegan food and come hang out with your new, and old, comrades, discuss how the week has been and anything else you may want to share.
Where: Cityside, 8 Mt Eden Road.

The Coalition Against The World Dairy Summit (CAWDS) believe that yesterday’s Greenpeace protest at the Fonterra head office in Auckland demonstrates the growing awareness of the dairy giant’s devastating practices, and are calling for more protests to come.

Public Forum: whats wrong with the New Zealand dairy industry?

CAWDS invite you to a public education night with films and guest speakers that will cover some of the reasons why the intensive, corporate dairy industry is so destructive, and why it is important we target the World Dairy Summit. We will also be sharing ways you can get involved and answering questions. This will be a great event to learn more and then take action!

Help STOP the World Dairy Summit


Happening this November the 8th till 11th at SkyCity Auckland this is a massive talk fest for all those playing a part in the destructive corporate dairy industry. We will be highlighting the animal rights abuses, environmental damage, health problems and global trade impacts that the dairy industry creates in New Zealand/Aotearoa and internationally.
