Voodoo is the debut studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Alexz Johnson. The album was released on March 9, 2010 through Orange Lounge Recordings and inDiscover Recordings.
The recording process began in mid-2009 when Johnson revealed on her website that she was dropped from Epic Records, and that the album she recorded and planned to release with them, was now shelved due to contractual complications. Some tracks were written as far back as 2005 with intent to be released through the album she planned with Capitol-EMI, but that deal shortly ended as the executives who signed Johnson to the label had been released from their contracts.
After several months of recording, Johnson announced that the album was almost complete and clips of several potential singles were posted on her official site shortly after. Johnson also worked with several musicians during the recording process. She teamed up with guitarist Tim Welch once again after previously working with him on several of the songs she had recorded for Instant Star. As of October, video treatments began being formed and Johnson had applied for the VideoFact grant, funded by MuchMusic, MuchMore and PromoFACT, and learned she was one of 272 other applicants to win in late 2009.

Voodoo is a concept album by King Diamond. The album was released in 1998. The album cover is drawn by Kristian Wåhlin. The album was remastered by Andy LaRocque and was re-released in 2009.
Voodoo takes place in the year 1932 and deals with the affairs of the Lafayettes, a family consisting of Sarah (who is pregnant), David, and Grandpa. They move to an old colonial house on the Mississippi River, just north of Baton Rouge, which also happens to have been built next to a voodoo graveyard.
Unknown to the Lafayettes, the colonial house's servant, Salem, is involved in voodoo. Salem partakes in voodoo rituals at the graveyard, along with Doctor le Croix, a voodoo sorcerer, Madame Sarita, and Lula Chevalier, a girl who is never seen.
The Lafayettes hear the voodoo drums from the ceremonies in the graveyard. They call a secret meeting with Salem to discuss what should be done. The Lafayettes decide to destroy the voodoo burial ground. Salem does not want this to happen, so he sneaks out at midnight to talk to Doctor le Croix. Le Croix gives Salem money to buy some goofer dust, and tells him that the Lafayettes must all die.

Vibe (바이브) is a South Korean R&B group. They released their first album in 2002 as a trio of two male singers (Yoon Min -soo and Ryu Jae-hyun) and a rapper (Yoo Sung Gyu). Their first single "미워도 다시 한번 (Although it is hateful, again)" was a success and a huge hit for the group making them very popular. Their second single "Promise U" was also very successful. Their 2nd album came out in November 2003 and their first single "오래 오래 (Long Long Time)" was a huge hit as was their second single "사진을 보다가 (While Looking at the Picture)". This cemented their status as a popular group and consistent hit makers. During the hiatus between their 2nd and 3rd albums, the rapper left the group citing that he wanted to pursue his own style of music, taking on the name Noblesse. Vibe went on to release their 3rd album in 2006 which became a success with their two hits "그 남자, 그 여자 (That Man, That Woman)" and "술이야 (Liquor)". Vibe release their 4th album and their title song was "다시 와주라" (Comeback Again). In 2011, Yoon Min-soo joins the cast of MBC I Am a Singer, and debut singing "그 남자, 그 여자 (That Man, That Woman)" and "술이야 (Liquor)", he obtains the 2nd place behind Insooni (인순이).
Kiss 105-108 is East Anglia's radio station, playing dance music and R'n'B across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and North Essex. It has been known as Vibe 105-108, Vibe FM and briefly Non-Stop Vibe which ran successfully from 22 November 1997 until relaunch on 6 September 2006 as part of the Kiss network, alongside sister stations Vibe 101 in Bristol (which became Kiss 101 on the same date) and Kiss 100, London.
All three Kiss stations started to carry the new Kiss logo, and the core music genre followed Kiss 100's more urban bias (the Vibe music brand was much more dance oriented). Kiss 105-108 and Kiss 101 retained some shows and DJs who had presented under the Vibe brand, but also offered shows that were simulcast by one DJ across two or all three stations including international high profile DJs such as Armin Van Buuren and John Digweed.
Kiss 105-108 used to be broadcast from Reflection House, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, however now relays Kiss 100 for everything.
Sigma in cosmology was a property of galaxies used when trying to work out the mystery of galaxies and their supermassive black holes.
In the late 1990s the NUKER experts had made observations with a spectroscope of two galaxies, one of an active galaxy with an active galactic nucleus called NGC10-68 and a dormant galaxy next door to us named Andromeda.
The observations are shown. The light from the centre in Andromeda galaxy was distorted proving the existence of super-massive black holes.
Other observations proved most galaxies had a similar centre whether it be active or dormant.
They then realised that the black holes must have something to do with a galaxy's formation, so they turned to something they thought was useless: the speed of the stars around the edge of the galaxy. This was Sigma, the speed of the stars at the edge of the galaxy supposedly unaffected by the mass of the black hole at the centre.
The NUKER team calculated the sigma of several stars in different galaxies and the mass of the black hole at the (nucleus) centre. They expected no correlation what so ever. But when plotting their results on a Scatter diagram and drawing a line of best fit they ended up with a positive correlation. It appeared that the heavier the black hole at the centre was the faster the stars within the galaxy travelled.
