We know a lot of factual information about the starling—its size and voice, where it lives, how it breeds and migrates—but what remains a mystery is how it flies in murmurations, or flocks, without colliding. This short film by Jan van IJken was shot in the Netherlands, and it captures the birds gathering at dusk, just about to start their "performance." Poppy fell out of his nest when he was a baby at the DFW airport. A flight attendant found him on the jetbridge, about to be thrown in the trash bin. He was rescued and is now a happy, healthy European starling. Poppy learned to talk, whistle songs and perform tricks. Mozart and 'Dixie' are his favorites. Starling
Starlings are small to medium-sized passerine birds in the family Sturnidae. The name "Sturnidae" comes from the Latin word for starling, sturnus. Many Asian species, particularly the larger ones, are called mynas, and many African species are known as glossy starlings because of their iridescent plumage. Starlings are native to the Old World, from Europe, Asia and Africa, to northern Australia and the islands of the tropical Pacific. Several European and Asian species have been introduced to these areas as well as North America, Hawaii and New Zealand, where they generally compete for habitats with native birds and are considered to be invasive species. The starling species familiar to most people in Europe and North America is the common starling, and throughout much of Asia and the Pacific, the common myna is indeed common.
Starlings have strong feet, their flight is strong and direct, and they are very gregarious. Their preferred habitat is fairly open country, and they eat insects and fruit. Several species live around human habitation and are effectively omnivores. Many species search for prey such as grubs by "open-bill probing", that is, forcefully opening the bill after inserting it into a crevice, thus expanding the hole and exposing the prey; this behaviour is referred to by the German verb zirkeln (pronounced [ˈtsɪʁkəln]).

Short film
A short film is any film not long enough to be considered a feature film. Although no consensus exists as to where that boundary is drawn, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences defines a short film as "an original motion picture that has a running time of 40 minutes or less, including all credits". The term featurette originally applied to a film longer than a short subject, but shorter than a standard feature film.
The increasingly rare term short subject means approximately the same thing. An industry term, it carries more of an assumption that the film is shown as part of a presentation along with a feature film. Short is an abbreviation for either term. Short films are often screened at local, national, or international film festivals and made by independent filmmakers for non profit, either with a low budget or no budget at all. They are usually funded by film grants, non profit organizations, sponsor, or personal funds. Short films are generally used by filmmakers to gain experience and/or prove their talent in order to gain funding for future films from private investors, entertainment companies, or film studios.

Henry Saiz
Henry Saiz is a Spanish DJ, producer and live performer, born in Madrid.
Biography
Saiz's first productions were released through the Global Underground and Paradigma Musik imprints. His remix of Guy J's "Lamur", released on the Bedrock label, was produced in 2009 after he came to the attention of John Digweed, one of the label's founders. Renaissance Recordings then commissioned the releases of his EPs "Artificial Paradises" and "Madre Noche" in 2009 and "The Rider" in 2010. He produced the Balance 019 compilation, released on June 10, 2011, and has his own record label, Natura Sonoris, which serves as a platform for his own productions as well as those of new artists. In addition to his productions, Saiz has been developing a live show, using a combination of the Akai APC-40 controlling Ableton Live, Access Virus TI Synth and an Ipod Touch.
Henry’s first official single release was in 2006. Starting his journey with some of the best underground labels in Spain, the Madrid-native Henry soon attracted the attention of UK giants such as Renaissance, Global Underground and Bedrock. “My first vinyl releases were special moments for me, when DJ’s you’ve admired your whole life support your music, it’s a big feeling. To then go on tours to places such as Asia, Australia and South America, and realize just how much the music I’d made was a part of so many people, it’s hard to explain just how amazing that was – and still is!”

Rescued Starling Learns To Whistle Mozart and Dixie, Poppy the Super-starling!
Poppy fell out of his nest when he was a baby at the DFW airport. A flight attendant found him on the jetbridge, about to be thrown in the trash bin. He was rescued and is now a happy, healthy European starling. Poppy learned to talk, whistle songs and perform tricks. Mozart and 'Dixie' are his favorites. We know a lot of factual information about the starling—its size and voice, where it lives, how it breeds and migrates—but what remains a mystery is how it flies in murmurations, or flocks, without colliding. This short film by Jan van IJken was shot in the Netherlands, and it captures the birds gathering at dusk, just about to start their "performance." Some really nifty synth work by N’to bringing kind of salvation after the break and from that point it feels like a space trip into another world. To make your journey unforgettable we added a remix by Mister Henry Saiz - which is bringing more light without loosing the deepness of the track. The keys are perfected and a nice vocal keeps the theme open. On the B-Side you’ll find “J’oublie“ - a brain-melting array of warm and huge sounds, a storyboard full of emotional and breath-taking moments. The song comes without rest. It gets build up all the time, bigger and bigger. We say welcome to a complete new world based in the Einmusika universe.
