Before Dying the village priest curses the snake charmer, Raka for killing him and making his son Ravi (Rakesh Roshan) an orphan. His only son Nagraj (Mithun Chakraborty) becomes the victim of the curse where he will be incarnated as a snake, killing anyone who makes contact with him. Things take a dramatic turn with the mysterious death of Poonam. Ravi investigates his sister's death to find out Nagraj is the culprit. Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jaffry, better known as Jagdeep, is an Indian film actor known for his comic roles. He played Soorma Bhopali in Sholay (1975), Gabbar in Purana Mandir (1984), Chief Zabardast in Tahkhana (1986), Hotel Receptionist in Veerana (1988), Salman Khan's father In Andaaz Apna Apna (1994) and later directed a movie Soorma Bhopali with this character as the protagonist.
Jagdeep started his film career as a child artist extra in films like B. R. Chopra's Afsana, then to a child artist in Ab Dilli Door Nahin, K A Abbas's Munna and AVM's Hum Panchi Ek Dal Ke. Then came Bimal Roy's Do Bigha Zameen with which he started playing comic roles.
He is also known for his appearances in many horror Movies, especially in projects of "Ramsay Brothers". He appeared in famous hits like Veerana, Tehkhana and Purana Mandir.
Jagdeep is the father of Naved Jaffery & Jaaved Jaffrey who host the popular show Boogie Woogie. According to rumours, Jagdeep will be playing a role in the sequel of Andaz Apna Apna. He last appeared in a flop movie- Journey Bombay to Goa.

Plot: After wealthy Dharamdas marries Tara, they are blessed with a son, Moti, but his business suffers. His assistant Bihari convinces him that his wife is responsible for his bad luck, and as a result Tara and her son are asked to leave. Tara solely looks after Moti, renames him Jeetu, and they live in a shanty house in a slum area. Jeetu grows up, studies engineering and gets a job as a mechanic with Alibhai Motorwala. He meets with and falls in love with Kamini, who also comes from a poor family. Then one day Kamini's brother, Pyarelal, gets killed and the killer hides in Kamini's house, sheltered by an unknowing Mrs. Pyarelal. When Kamini confides in her bhabhi that she would like to get married to Jeetu, both of them go to Jeetu's house, meet his mother, in order to arrange the marriage. Tara has already met Kamini and approves of her. Just then Jeetu enters the room and is introduced to Kamini's bhabhi - who instantly recognizes him as the man she had unknowingly sheltered, and who allegedly killed her husband. Marriage talks end here, Kamini refuses to believe Jeetu, he is arrested by the police, tried in court and sentenced to be hanged. The question remains, why did Jeetu kill Pyarelal?

Things take a dramatic turn with the mysterious death of Poonam. Ravi investigates his sister's death to find out Nagraj is the culprit. Nagraj moonlights as a venomous snake that is out to kill women. Can the dangerous Nagraj be stopped from his killing spree? Will he be freed of the curse?

Om Prakash (19 December 1919 – 21 February 1998) was an Indian bollywood actor. Starting his career in 1942, he was a popular supporting actor from the 1950s until the 1980s. He was known for his comedy roles in films. Om Prakash played the leading man in films like Dus Lakh, Annadata and Charandas 'Sadhu aur Shaitan'. His roles in the films Dil Daulat Duniya, Chupke Chupke, Julie, Joroo Ka Ghulam, Aa Gale Lag Jaa, Pyar Kiye Jaa and Buddha Mil Gaya are considered to be among his best along with Daddu in Namak Halaal and De Silva in Zanjeer. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Jagdeep Singh, who was arrested on charges of assaulting a contractor and later released on bail, on Sunday rubbished allegations against him and said the actual issue is that of an 'illegal encroachment' of a garbage dump near Hari Nagar ... "They didn't clean the garbage first. Then we asked a private company (Metro Waste) which cleans for the MCD ... Their employees began fighting with us....

NEW DELHI. There was high drama on Sunday evening after AAP legislator Jagdeep Singh was arrested for allegedly assaulting the manager of a waste management company for not giving in to his demands. The Hari Nagar MLA got bail late in the night, the police said.
