China successfully tests elevated bus that straddles traffic
A Chinese company has successfully tested an elevated bus that straddles traffic and carries passengers over the cars.
The futuristic bus, called “Transit Elevated Bus,” is two meters high and runs on rails built along city streets. It is said to be able to reach the speed of 60 kilometers per hour.
The vehicle, powered by electricity, can carry up to 300 passengers. The manufacturers say the bus can solve China’s major traffic problem.
