Sunshine City Ikebukuro is one of the biggest shopping mall in Tokyo Japan. The shopping mall is a 10 minute walk from Ikebukuro station and it is a huge mall in Tokyo that also have an aquarium and Planetarium too!
The day i visited Sunshine city it was a rainy day but in the end i got a really fun day at the Sunshine City Ikebukuro and i can say it brought some "sunshine" to my life.
The vlog was shot entirely on a Gopro Hero 4 silver edition for those tech interested people.

Ikebukuro
Ikebukuro (池袋, [ikebu͍ku͍ɽo]) is a commercial and entertainment district in Toshima, Tokyo, Japan. Toshima ward offices, Ikebukuro station, and several shops, restaurants, and enormous department stores are located within city limits.
At the center of Ikebukuro is the train and subway station, a huge urban gathering shared by the JR East lines, the Seibu Ikebukuro Line and the Tōbu Tōjō Line. It is one of the main commuter hubs in the western Yamanote area of Tokyo. Ikebukuro Station is the second busiest station in Japan, second only to Shinjuku Station.
Around the station are the Seibu and Tōbu department stores. Seibu, written with the characters for "West" and "Musashi (province)" 西武, is on the east end of the station and Tōbu, written with the characters for "East" and "Musashi" 東武, is on the west end. East of the station, on the site of Sugamo Prison, stands Sunshine 60, which was Tokyo's tallest building at the time of its construction. Adjacent to Sunshine City, on Meiji-Dori is the Toyota Amlux Building which houses the Toyota showroom. Otome Road, a leading shopping area for otaku products aimed at women, is located nearby. Marui and Don Quijote also have department stores in the area. The principal electronics retailer in Ikebukuro is Bic Camera. There is a small pleasure district located in Nishi-Ikebukuro, similar to Shinjuku's Kabukichō.

The owl statue has become a famous meeting place along the lines of the statue of Hachikō located outside of Shibuya Station.
Education
Public elementary and junior high schools are operated by the Toshima Ward. Public high schools are operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Board of Education.

Here's one of my favorite places to spend time in Tokyo. This is the walk from the Sunshine Exit from Ikebukuro station to where the anime shops are. Ikebukuro is the #1 place in Tokyo for fujoshi (female otaku). This is evidenced by the fact that it has both a Mandarake and a K-Books dedicated to women's manga, especially "boys love" (BL) manga for those who get off on reading unrealistic portrayals of gay romance stories. (And for the record, I may be one of the few guys who don't get turned on by lesbians... that's why I married a hetero girl instead.) Anyhow, there's lots to see in Ikebukuro. There's the Hello Kitty Gate store, an FMV, Book Off, plenty of game centers, and otaku shops like K-Books and Animate, and Manga no Mori. There used to be a Gamers store here, but that closed several years ago. One game center I used to frequent is the 50 yen game center across the way from the Sega Gigo, but this time it's been infested with maids. I lost count on how many times I was greeted with an "Irrashaimase, go-shujin-sama!" I just wanted to GTFO, but those J-girls are just too cute to be rude to, even when they're acting like doorknobs. The game selection in there wasn't as cool as it used to be, to make it worse. Oh yeah, and the Toys R Us across the way from Animate and K-Books was a real letdown this year. They used to have better stuff.The JNTO website lists Tachikawa as the 3rd otaku town in Tokyo, after Akihabara and Nakano. I have to disagree, as I would definitely give that title to Ikebukuro. Heck, even the AMPM convenience store has a dummy of Lilith impaled to a support column by the Spear of Longness or whatever it's called (sorry, not much of an Evangelion fan). I wish I could've fit that into this video. Anyhow, Enjoy the vid.

State of Bengal (Zaman) learned to play bass in three weeks for the project.
Critical response
Peggy Latkovich of AllMusic said of Walking On, "It's all delivered with lavish abandon and a sense of fun. Dig it." Prasad Bidaye of Exclaim! said of the album, "It simply rocks, albeit in a different language, and that's rare in such instances of east-west fusion.
Indian Electronica rated the album 5/5 and called it "...an extremely fun album that has oodles of 1960s/70s Bollywood Funk. Not cheesy, but 'paneery.'." Biz of EthnoTechno said, "Folk instrumental melodies, phat beats, mesmerizing loops, and swirling flourishes of sonic waves. Have yourself a taste!"

Here's one of my favorite places to spend time in Tokyo. This is the walk from the Sunshine Exit from Ikebukuro station to where the anime shops are. Ikebukuro is the #1 place in Tokyo for fujoshi (female otaku). This is evidenced by the fact that it has both a Mandarake and a K-Books dedicated to women's manga, especially "boys love" (BL) manga for those who get off on reading unrealistic portrayals of gay romance stories. (And for the record, I may be one of the few guys who don't get turned on by lesbians... that's why I married a hetero girl instead.) Anyhow, there's lots to see in Ikebukuro. There's the Hello Kitty Gate store, an FMV, Book Off, plenty of game centers, and otaku shops like K-Books and Animate, and Manga no Mori. There used to be a Gamers store here, but that closed several years ago. One game center I used to frequent is the 50 yen game center across the way from the Sega Gigo, but this time it's been infested with maids. I lost count on how many times I was greeted with an "Irrashaimase, go-shujin-sama!" I just wanted to GTFO, but those J-girls are just too cute to be rude to, even when they're acting like doorknobs. The game selection in there wasn't as cool as it used to be, to make it worse. Oh yeah, and the Toys R Us across the way from Animate and K-Books was a real letdown this year. They used to have better stuff.The JNTO website lists Tachikawa as the 3rd otaku town in Tokyo, after Akihabara and Nakano. I have to disagree, as I would definitely give that title to Ikebukuro. Heck, even the AMPM convenience store has a dummy of Lilith impaled to a support column by the Spear of Longness or whatever it's called (sorry, not much of an Evangelion fan). I wish I could've fit that into this video. Anyhow, Enjoy the vid.

Sunshine City Ikebukuro Tokyo
Sunshine City Ikebukuro is one of the biggest shopping mall in Tokyo Japan. The shopping mall is a 10 minute walk from Ikebukuro station and it is a huge mall in Tokyo that also have an aquarium and Planetarium too! The day i visited Sunshine city it was a rainy day but in the end i got a really fun day at the Sunshine City Ikebukuro and i can say it brought some "sunshine" to my life. Here's one of my favorite places to spend time in Tokyo. This is the walk from the Sunshine Exit from Ikebukuro station to where the anime shops are. Ikebukuro is the #1 place in Tokyo for fujoshi (female otaku). This is evidenced by the fact that it has both a Mandarake and a K-Books dedicated to women's manga, especially "boys love" (BL) manga for those who get off on reading unrealistic portrayals of gay romance stories. (And for the record, I may be one of the few guys who don't get turned on by lesbians... that's why I married a hetero girl instead.) Anyhow, there's lots to see in Ikebukuro. Sunshine City Ikebukuro is one of the biggest shopping mall in Tokyo Japan. The shopping mall is a 10 minute walk from Ikebukuro station and it is a huge mall in Tokyo that also have an aquarium and Planetarium too!

It is one of the main commuter hubs in the western Yamanote area of Tokyo. Ikebukuro Station is the second busiest station in Japan, second only to Shinjuku Station.
Around the station are the Seibu and Tōbu department stores. Seibu, written with the characters for "West" and "Musashi (province)" 西武, is on the east end of the station and Tōbu, written with the characters for "East" and "Musashi" 東武, is on the west end. East of the station, on the site of Sugamo Prison, stands Sunshine 60, which was Tokyo's tallest building at the time of its construction. Adjacent to Sunshine City, on Meiji-Dori is the Toyota Amlux Building which houses the Toyota showroom. Otome Road, a leading shopping area for otaku products aimed at women, is located nearby. The owl statue has become a famous meeting place along the lines of the statue of Hachikō located outside of Shibuya Station.
Education

I lost count on how many times I was greeted with an "Irrashaimase, go-shujin-sama!" I just wanted to GTFO, but those J-girls are just too cute to be rude to, even when they're acting like doorknobs. The game selection in there wasn't as cool as it used to be, to make it worse. Oh yeah, and the Toys R Us across the way from Animate and K-Books was a real letdown this year. They used to have better stuff.The JNTO website lists Tachikawa as the 3rd otaku town in Tokyo, after Akihabara and Nakano. I have to disagree, as I would definitely give that title to Ikebukuro. Heck, even the AMPM convenience store has a dummy of Lilith impaled to a support column by the Spear of Longness or whatever it's called (sorry, not much of an Evangelion fan). I wish I could've fit that into this video. Anyhow, Enjoy the vid.

Sunshine City Ikebukuro Tokyo
Sunshine City Ikebukuro is one of the biggest shopping mall in Tokyo Japan. The shopping mall is a 10 minute walk from Ikebukuro station and it is a huge mall in Tokyo that also have an aquarium and Planetarium too! The day i visited Sunshine city it was a rainy day but in the end i got a really fun day at the Sunshine City Ikebukuro and i can say it brought some "sunshine" to my life. Back in April I went to Tokyo with my younger brother (the walking one) and we took some GoPro footage. On day 7 we went to Ikebukuro (home of Durarara!) to the Pokemon Centre Mega Tokyo and an aquarium on top of Sunshine City. On day 8 we went to the Skytree - the second tallest building in the world!
