The Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) is legislation proposed in the United States Congress that would prohibit discrimination in hiring and employment on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity by employers with at least 15 employees.
ENDA has been introduced in every Congress since 1994 except the 109th. Similar legislation has been introduced without passage since 1974. The bill gained its best chance at passing after the Democratic Party gained the majority after twelve years of Republican majorities in the 2006 midterm elections. In 2007, gender identity protections were added to the legislation for the first time. Some sponsors believed that even with a Democratic majority, ENDA did not have enough votes to pass the House of Representatives with transgender inclusion and dropped it from the bill, which passed the House and then died in the Senate. President George W. Bush threatened to veto the measure. LGBT advocacy organizations and the LGBT community were divided over support of the modified bill.

TV3 is a commercial free-to-air television network operated within Ireland. The channel is owned by Liberty Global and operated through its subsidiary Virgin Media Ireland. The channel launched on 20 September 1998 becoming the country's first commercial broadcaster.
In October 1988, the Independent Radio and Television Commission (IRTC) was set up to regulate new independent stations. Following this TV3 was intended to the the Republic of Ireland's third terrestrial channel. The original broadcasting licence was granted to a consortium Tullamore Beta Ltd in 1990 (some of this consortium made up of Windmill Lane Productions and Paul McGuinness. It was envisaged that the channel would broadcast on cable and MMDS, but it was later decided that the channel should broadcast on terrestrial television similar to other Irish channels.
TV3's broadcast was further delayed when IRTC revoked the broadcasting licence due to delays in broadcasting the channel. After a court battle the licence was eventually restored in 1993. By 1993 an agreement was made to sell 49 per cent of the company to UTV, to raise much-needed cash for investment in facilities. However, UTV pulled out of negotiations in 1995, after TV3 tried to convince existing MMDS and cable television providers to drop UTV and replace it with TV3. Cable operators declined to drop UTV Northern Ireland from its line-up.

Min or MIN may refer to:
Lee Min-young (Hangul: 이민영; Hanja: 李玟暎), also known as Min, is a South Korean idol singer and actress. She is the lead vocalist of the girl group Miss A which is under JYP Entertainment. Before debuting with Miss A, Min had some notable recognition in South Korea and some parts of America for being "Lil Jon's protege".
Min was born on June 21, 1991 in Seoul, South Korea. At a very young age, she had already been exposed to the entertainment industry as she had taken part in "BoBoBo" (The Korean version of Sesame Street), as part of the duo called "Eolleong Ddungddang". At 13 years old, she and Girls' Generation's member, Hyoyeon, formed a dance duo called "Little Winners". Videos of Little Winners have become a popular watch on YouTube. Min auditioned to be a part of JYP Entertainment when she was in the 6th grade. After a year of training, she was sent to the U.S. to train some more as she prepared for a U.S. debut. She went to study at the Repertory Company High School in Manhattan. Min had revealed on an episode of Oh! My School, a South Korean variety show, that on the sixth year of her training, she had run away after being disheartened from the recurring delay of her U.S. debut. She said that no one, not even her family nor JYP, knew that she had gone back to South Korea in 2008. She worked several jobs including being a Dance teacher and an English teacher for about 18 months.
The Min is a modern working copy of an Ancient Egyptian ship of Hatshepsut's time, built for the BBC documentary The Pharaoh Who Conquered the Sea. It was named after the Egyptian fertility god Min.
This is a recording of what was played each time TV3 (also including 3e and be3) would startup or closedown. It was used from the very beginning of TV3 until the very end (1998-2018). The only difference is the logos at the end changed when a rebrand would occur. This recording was taken at 1:50am GMT on August 25 2018, 5 days before TV3 came to and end and became Virgin Media television. Hopefully this video will serve as a permanent reminder for the developments TV3 brought to Irish television production.
