Just wanted to say thank you thank you thank you. Hooray a bra that fits :) I'm a first time mum ( in case you couldn't tell) and it's hard enough getting your head round breastfeeding let alone finding something to contain your boobs which are constantly changing depending on when you last fed. yay might have to order some more.

Finally I have found a bra that gives me support and makes my clothes look nice again! I love this bra, my breasts a grown a few sizes since pregnancy and this is the first bra that doesn't make me feel like they are down at my knees! I also love that you can wear breast pads without the outline showing through your top if its firm fitting.

I am a 14FF (hot milk) maternity size and have both L and XL in this bra. The XL is definitely more comfortable but the L is a bit more supportive. I wouldn't run with these big knockers but the bra does provide adequate support for walking and is nice and easy for breastfeeding access.

I absolutely LOVE my maternity sports bra, so much so I have been wearing it non stop since it arrived! When I wash it, I wish I had another one so I will definitely be ordering another couple! I find it super comfortable to wear at night, and it keeps the breast pads in place well too! What a bonus! Awesome amount of support when exercising too which is important, I just wear a top with built in support to provide that little bit extra when I want to run :). So impressed with the service of your company. The speedy delivery, the cute little package and of course the follow up to make sure I was happy with the product! I'm a size 16GG and got the 2xl size. It fits great, no boob popping out the top and the elastic under the bust fits good. Very comfortable and will be my new bra for wearing around the house. As a sports bra it's definitely not supportive enough but due to my size I doubt I will find any bra that I can wear just by itself. Will be getting another one or three ☺

I love this bra so much that I've just ordered a second one! It's great for running in, although it does need extra support (I get that through a sports top that has built in support). So much better than what I'd been trying to run in. I've recommended this bra to all of the other Mum's in my antenatal group.

this bra is excellent, comfy and really supportive - goodbye droopy boobs! I have not run in it yet but it's good for walking, dancing, yoga, sleeping around the house and in fact - anywhere out too! Love this bra, I don't think it would be supportive enough for me for sports but then I'm not expecting to find any maternity bra that would be supportive enough for me for that being a 16F! I love it because it's comfortable and I feel more covered than a maternity bra plus I feel it can cope with the change in boob sizes easily. Love it. Have the white and grey and now want the black!

Very comfortable and supportive bra. Easy to nurse while wearing despite catches to open up front of bra sitting higher than in regular nursing bras. Am a huge fan! Plan to order another in coming months. Ordered the wrong size, but Franny/BM team exchanged it for me. Brilliant customer service, with bra arriving next day. Would recommend this bra (but also breast mates insanely good customer service!).

This bra is excellent! Perfect for my step gym class, but still allows me to break to feed my son without a problem. I wish it came in black too. Initially I ordered the wrong size, however it was very quickly replaced and Franny has been lovely to deal with. I highly recommend this bra :)

I purchased one of these sports bras as I joined a boot camp for mums and it has been awesome. It has been really good to be able to work out and get back into shape while still breast feeding. I was a 12FF before and a 14g in nursing bras and I bought a large which is slightly on the smaller side but firm to wear while working out. If I got another one I would probably order the next size up.

I purchased two of these sports bras for walking in so I could save my pretty lacy ones for when I'm not exercising but find myself wearing them all the time! They are SO comfortable and great under t-shirts etc too. I'm a big busted mum (14FF so size 2XL)so do not run at the moment but if I did - I think these would be great. The sizing is perfect for me. Would be great if these came in other colours like black, purple, red etc! Always a pleasure to deal with Franny and Breastmates with her friendly efficient service :)

I was thinking to order this bra to use as sleeping bra based on previous comments. My current size is 16B/C so I ordered XL. When they arrived, they felt quite tight at first because of the close shape around armpit area (good fit anywhere else). However, because of that shape, my upper body looks more compact and it makes me to watch my posture. So to me, this bra may not be comfy enough for sleeping but it is perfect for daytime activities.

overall I'm pleased with the bra. I'm a 12D/14C but took a gamble and ordered an M (although a Large is recommended). when I first tried it on it felt very tight and I was worried because it isn't adjustable, but after doing some running and high impact exercises I realized that the tightness is perfect and supports my chest very well. so, for supprt during exercising I'd recommend going a size smaller but for everyday or night time wear stick with recommended size. yes, some ability to adjust would be good but it might compromise the comfort and effectiveness as a sports bra. I'd like to see more performance material (e.g. mesh in the back) being used in the design, however, it works well for me as it is. if it came in black I'd buy another one. overall a good product, worth the money and the service and delivery is fantastic with no problems at all.

Super quick delivery again - ordered mid afternoon and by mid morning I was out walking with my new support! After reading the feedback I decided to go a size down and its a bit tight but feel well supported. So depending on how sporty you want to get stick with the guide if its just for casual wear or if you want the milk jugs held in go down a size.

Fantastic to find a nursing bra suitable for horse riding, and those that are active! This is a great allround bra - that you can wear 24/7, hence I have purcahsed more than one! Is great at night, very comfortable :-) I have highly recommended and told other 'horse riding, breast feeding friends' who also rave about it!

I am a 14B in Triumph and 14C in Elle Mc and got the large in this bra. I found it too tight/too high under the arm which made it very uncomfortable. It was a perfect fit everywhere else. I have cut it under the arms to try and fix it and now it is ok and I wear it for walking/running, so not bad as a sports bra.

This is one of my best purchases for baby things. Its so comfy and supportive. I tend to put in on for exercising but then keep it on all day. It gives really nice shape as well. Buy it bigger than what you usually do as I am usually medium but large in this and that is quite tight. I bought two and then bought two more. I just wish that it came in black as I have in white and grey. Brilliant

I am just about to order two more of these bra's because all the other sports bra's I have tried certainly don't come near the great support that this bra provides. It is snug and comfy, but has the great support that I need when I do high impact exercise like sports and running. Love this bra to bits!

I found out about Breastmates at the Parent and Child Show 2011 and have been very impressed with their product range. This sports bra was the reason I checked out Breastmates. The size guide is pretty much spot on but, as Mel stated above that the bra does cut in under then arms. While Sarah found the underbust band loose, I found it a little tight despite the cup size was correct. I would love to see an improvement in the shape /cutting of this sports bra (then I will purchase more for sure!!!). Also, I found the clasps situated a bit too high for feeding as the normal nursing bras have the clasps a lot lower for easy access while holding a baby in the other arm. All in all, it's the only sports nursing bra available and the customer service is fantastic. =D

I love this bra, very supportive and comfortable. I love the fact is is quite high in the front stops the "spilling over" I have had with other bras. Will be wearing this all summer on the boat and know bubs wont be getting a "milk shake"!! Service was quick and friendly as always.

This is a fantastic bra - comfortable and surprisingly supportive. I ordered a size smaller than recommended by the guide as I like my sports bras nice and firm, and this worked very well. Would probably order the next size up for everyday/night wear. Breastmates' service can't be faulted.

This bra is AMAZING! I'm very petite (10B-D depending on time of day!) and was worried that it would be too lose around my rib cage but the small is perfect. Thanks for the great bra, I pick this one when I open the underwear drawer! Its really nice not to have to change bras to feed before or after a workout. I was very suprised with the level of support as I have never been able to wear a non underwire sports bra. Im a 16D and it has plenty of support for pounding the pavement and weights! This Sports Nursing Bra by La Leche League has given me a full nights sleep again. It is wonderful, soft and amazingly comfortable!! And the odd night when Mr 11wks does wake, I can now nurse him without having to take a normal bra off or wear a proper bra to bed :) Love this bra so much, have ordered a second one, and can barely wait for arrival :) I wouldn't put this bra as supportive enough for exercise being a big busted girl, but I only wanted it for nighttime, and for that purpose (and also all-day wear) its ABSOLUTELY PERFECT :-D Thx so much Fran, you have a wonderful website here!!

I love this bra! I'm saving up to buy 2 more! <br/> I'm a 12F/10FF and bought this bra with really low expectations, expecting to have to send it back. I bought the large. When I tried it on, I was a little disappointed at first, as it wasn't as supportive as I'd hoped. I decided to keep it anyway, because it's jolly comfortable. <br/> A couple of days later I had a brainwave, and put it on OVER my regular nursing bra. The difference was amazing! I'd just received mine today and have tested it out. The support was greater. Much better than what I'd expected. It was very handy to be able to breastfeed in it before I take the little out for a run in the buggy. I agree with the other reviews that it is very comfortable for wear during the day. Just make sure you get the right size. I'm a 10DD (at the moment) and the medium fit me just right. My only complain is the lack of colour choices.

I was a wee bit disappointed to find that the band and straps are not adjustable - this makes it more of a crop top than a bra. This wasn't totally obvious from the pictures and description but I gambled and ordered one anyway. I'm a 12E and it isn't going to be supportive enough for me to jog (I ordered an L following the sizing table). The underbust band is slightly too loose on my chest and since it can't be adjusted I'm going to have to cut and sew it. I wouldn't go down a size as my boobs would get squashed. The tag that comes on the "bra" from the manufacturer states that it fits to a C cup which explains why it isn't right. It is still very (very very) comfortable and I wouldn't hesitate to wear it as a regular bra or to sleep in at night. It will be ok for doing weights and maybe for the eliptical but not anything that needs full on support.

I loved it so much I bought two more. A great bra for night time, keeps breasts and pads aligned and stops you waking up soggy. Really comfortable and suitable for all day wear. At last a nursing bra to stop the jiggling jugs!

When I ordered this bra, I had to exchange it for a smaller size (large for a medium, I am a 12E) and I liked it so much that I decided to get a second one at the same time.
