UPDATE: The Steering Committee has approved a new work plan moving forward as of May, 2015. Read it here.
In 2013, the six community legal clinics in the east end of Toronto worked together to identify the structures and collaborations that could improve access to justice for low-income communities. They talked with front line staff, clients, community leaders, as well as legal clinic staff across Ontario and around the world. They identified the barriers to access and developed new ideas for the community legal clinic system.
Now those ideas are being re-examined by clinics from across the GTA. This process will again include front line staff, clients and communities. This website is designed to give everyone access to the information they need to participate in this discussion. Feel free to explore the material on this site and offer your insight and comments. |
