The Band
The Band was a Canadian-American roots rock group, originally consisting of Rick Danko (bass guitar, double bass, fiddle, trombone, vocals), Levon Helm (drums, mandolin, vocals), Garth Hudson (keyboards, saxophones, trumpet), Richard Manuel (piano, baritone, drums, vocals) and Robbie Robertson (guitar, percussion, vocals). The members of the Band first came together as they joined rockabilly singer Ronnie Hawkins's backing group, the Hawks, one by one between 1958 and 1963.
In 1964, they separated from Hawkins, after which they toured and released a few singles as Levon and the Hawks and the Canadian Squires. The next year, Bob Dylan hired them for his U.S. tour in 1965 and world tour in 1966. Following the 1966 tour, the group moved with Dylan to Saugerties, New York, where they made the informal 1967 recordings that became The Basement Tapes, which forged the basis for their 1968 debut album, Music from Big Pink. Because they were always "the band" to various frontmen, Helm said the name "The Band" worked well when the group came into its own. The group began performing as the Band in 1968 and went on to release ten studio albums. Dylan continued to collaborate with the Band over the course of their career, including a joint 1974 tour.

Gin
Gin is a spirit which derives its predominant flavour from juniper berries (Juniperus communis). From its earliest origins in the Middle Ages, gin has evolved over the course of a millennium from a herbal medicine to an object of commerce in the spirits industry. Gin was developed on the basis of the older jenever, and became popular in Great Britain when William of Orange, leader of the Dutch Republic, occupied the English and Scottish thrones with his wife Mary. Gin is one of the broadest categories of spirits, represented by products of various origins, styles, and flavour profiles that all revolve around juniper as a common ingredient.
Etymology
The name "gin" is derived from "genièvre (French) and jenever (Dutch), both of which mean "juniper".
Legal definition
Although several different styles of gin have evolved, it is legally differentiated into four categories in the European Union, which are described as follows.
In the EU, the minimum bottled alcoholic strength for gin, distilled gin, and London gin is 37.5% ABV.

In a religious context, sin is the act of violating God's will. Sin can also be viewed as anything that violates the ideal relationship between an individual and God; or as any diversion from the perceived ideal order for human living. To sin has been defined as "to miss the mark".
Etymology
The word derives from "Old English syn(n), for original *sunjō... The stem may be related to that of Latin sons, sont-is guilty. In Old English there are examples of the original general sense, ‘offence, wrong-doing, misdeed'". The Biblical terms translated from New Testament Greek (αμαρτία - amartia) and from Hebrew as "sin" or "syn" originate in archery and literally refer to missing the "gold" at the centre of a target, but hitting the target, i.e. error. (Archers call not hitting the target at all a "miss".)

SSX
SSX (short for Snowboard Supercross) is the first in the SSX series of snowboarding video games. It was developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts for the PlayStation 2 in October 2000. It is the first game in EA's EA Sports Big brand, which specializes in extreme sports titles with an unrealistic or arcade feel.
Although it suffered from poor sales, SSX received widespread critical acclaim, while also receiving numerous industry awards and was widely regarded by critics as one of the standouts of the PlayStation 2's launch library. The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences gave SSX five awards, including "Console Sports Game of The Year" and "Racing Game of The Year". The executive producer and creative leader of SSX was Steve Rechtschaffner, who was also the inventor of the now Olympic snowboard event called Boardercross, which served as the inspiration for the game.
Subsequent titles in the SSX series include, in order of release: SSX Tricky, SSX 3, SSX on Tour, SSX Blur, and a reboot released in 2012, SSX.

On June 7th, Europe took the stage in their home country Sweden for a very special occasion: celebrating 30 years of rock music. The Swedish rock band celebrated this event together with 30,000 people at the famous Sweden Rock Festival, playing a total selection of 28 songs, picking their personal favourite moments spanning from their earlier years up to their most recent songs taken from albums like "Last Look At Eden" and "Bag Of Bones"; for the lovers of statistics and rarities some of the songs had never been played live before.
The bombastic greatest hits show also has its soulful moment when the band sits down for an emotional acoustic set which gives the massive arena show a club feeling before the band goes back to the hard rock they are known for.
To pay tribute to some of their biggest heroes, Europe invited two very special guests to perform with them: Scott Gorham (Thin Lizzy) for an electrifying version of 'Jailbreak' and Michael Schenker (MSG, ex UFO and Scorpions) for one of hard rock's evergreens, UFO's classic 'Lights Out'.
The set list is full of treasures and surprises but Europe were determined to celebrated and enjoy their long record of hit singles: like 'Carrie', 'Rock The Night', 'Superstitious', ´Open Your Heart´, 'Last Look At Eden', ´Prisoners in Paradise´, 'New Love In Town' and, of course, the ever-present and always electrifying 'The Final Countdown'.
Over two hours and forty minutes of concert footage, in a state of the art High Definition movie featuring behind the scenes material and an exclusive interview with the band makes "Live At Sweden Rock -- 30th Anniversary Show" the definitive Europe live experience!

According to Rob Bowman's liner notes for the 2000 reissue, The Band has been viewed as a concept album, with the songs focusing on people, places and traditions associated with an older version of Americana.[2] Thus, the songs on this album draw from historic themes for "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down", "King Harvest (Has Surely Come)" and Richard Manuel's "Jawbone" (which was composed in the unusual 6/4 time signature.)
