Rebecca Judd dodges awkward kiss
Watch as heavily pregnant Rebecca Judd dodges a goodbye kiss from sports presenter Tony Jones, as she goes on maternity leave.
Judd, 33, the wife of retired Carlton footballer Chris Judd, looked uncomfortable at the sign of affection.
"Good luck, Bec," Jones said as he eagerly swooped in to kiss her on the cheek.
The mother of two seemed taken aback and recoiled before uncomfortably giggling off the incident.
Clearly embarrassed, Jones crossed his arms, blushed and quipped, "This has gone well."
A consummate professional, Hitchener tried to defuse the situation by laughing and telling Jones, "You're funny."
The three were seen laughing about the spurned kiss after Hitchener ended the broadcast, suggesting no damage had been done to Judd and Jones' relationship.
Judd also laughed off the kiss on Instagram later, thanking her Nine News "family" for the laughs.
"Final weather bulletin before maternity leave didn't quite go to plan but as always, thanks to my wonderful Nine News Melbourne family for the laughs."
Jones also described the farewell as "awkward" on Twitter. Judd replied, writing "you know I love you!"
Judd already has two children under the age of five.
"Wish me luck, I'm going to need it," she told Hitchener and Jones.
@TJch9 you know I love you!
