This is Nathan's guide to novel writing in 7 easy (ish!) steps.
Nathan won the Costa Book Prize in 2013 with his debut novel, The Shock Of The Fall. It has been translated into 27 languages. Nathan worked part time as a mental health nurse in Bristol and his book’s narrator is a 19 year old boy with schizophrenia. He graduated from Bath Spa University in 2010 with an MA in Creative Writing and is now a lecturer in Creative Writing at the University.

Novel
A novel is a long narrative, normally in prose, which describes fictional characters and events, usually in the form of a sequential story.
The genre has also been described as possessing "a continuous and comprehensive history of about two thousand years". This view sees the novel's origins in Classical Greece and Rome, medieval, early modern romance, and the tradition of the novella. The latter, an Italian word used to describe short stories, supplied the present generic English term in the 18th century. Ian Watt, however, in The Rise of the Novel (1957) suggests that the novel first came into being in the early 18th century,
Miguel de Cervantes, author of Don Quixote, is frequently cited as the first significant European novelist of the modern era; the first part of Don Quixote was published in 1605.
The romance is a closely related long prose narrative. Walter Scott defined it as "a fictitious narrative in prose or verse; the interest of which turns upon marvellous and uncommon incidents", whereas in the novel "the events are accommodated to the ordinary train of human events and the modern state of society". However, many romances, including the historical romances of Scott,Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights and Herman Melville's Moby-Dick, are also frequently called novels, and Scott describes romance as a "kindred term". Romance, as defined here, should not be confused with the genre fiction love romance or romance novel. Other European languages do not distinguish between romance and novel: "a novel is le roman, der Roman, il romanzo."

He teaches part-time at SVA in Manhattan, and is involved in the Rutgers Early College Humanities Program for young adults living in under-served communities. In 2013, he founded Writers for Children, an organization which helps young people build confidence in their talent. He was a finalist for the Vilcek Prize for Creative Promise and his work has been translated into more than fifteen languages. Simon lives in Brooklyn with his wife and daughter. This is Nathan's guide to novel writing in 7 easy (ish!) steps.
Nathan won the Costa Book Prize in 2013 with his debut novel, The Shock Of The Fall. It has been translated into 27 languages. Nathan worked part time as a mental health nurse in Bristol and his book’s narrator is a 19 year old boy with schizophrenia. He graduated from Bath Spa University in 2010 with an MA in Creative Writing and is now a lecturer in Creative Writing at the University.

The British authority had suggested him to establish the parliamentary system in Nepal, but Jung Bahadur Rana didn't listen to anyone and continued his dictatorial rule. His daughters and sons were married in the Kings family who later tried to overthrow the Rana Rule that invited several conspiracy and murders resulting his final days in loneliness and his son was also killed in the political conspiracy. Rana rule started by Jung Bahadur Rana continued for 104 years until it was overthrown by the people's democratic movement in 1951.
In this novel, novelist Diamond Shamsher Rana has revealed several historical insights of the cause, motives and the consequences of the events inside the Royal Palace.

Seto Bagh is a famous Nepali novel by veteran Nepali writer Diamond Shamsher Rana.This is a document of Nepal's history during the Rana Regime in Nepal where the notorious Rana Prime Minister Jung Bahadur with his cunning intellect and wide knowledge about international
relationships, unprecedented army power, political trick and support from British Colony, succeeds to obtain the Shree 3 Crown which he will manage to pass on to his brothers in succession. Jung Bahadur had a very good and close relationship with the British Queen Victoria as he helped to suppress the possible Indian revolt against the British Colonial rule in India. The British authority had suggested him to establish the parliamentary system in Nepal, but Jung Bahadur Rana didn't listen to anyone and continued his dictatorial rule. His daughters and sons were married in the Kings family who later tried to overthrow the Rana Rule that invited several conspiracy and murders resulting his final days in loneliness and his son was also killed in the political conspiracy. Rana rule started by Jung Bahadur Rana continued for 104 years until it was overthrown by the people's democratic movement in 1951.
In this novel, novelist Diamond Shamsher Rana has revealed several historical insights of the cause, motives and the consequences of the events inside the Royal Palace.
