Motivation (Sum 41 song)
"Motivation" is a song recorded by Canadian pop punk band Sum 41. It was released in January 2002 as the third single from the album All Killer No Filler. Greig Nori appears on backing vocals.

The song is about being self-centered, demotivated and being too lazy to look for motivation to do anything.
In popular culture
The song has been used in the Smallville episode "Hothead", the Malcolm in the Middle episode "Hal Coaches" and The Challenge episode "Battle of the Seasons: Slam Dunk". The Detroit Red Wings chose Motivation to be their opening song each home game in 2003. It has been used in the video game Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock.

The music video is of the band playing in Steve Jocz' attic located in Ajax Ontario. The room is piled with garbage and other various items.

Motivation is the first studio album of Moti Special, released in 1985 by Teldec label. The band members were: Danish guitarist Nils Tuxen, Romanian keyboardist Michael Cretu, bassist and vocalist Manfred "Thissy" Thiers, and drummer Reinhard "Dickie" Tarrach. The album reached # 20 in the Germany charts.

Circus is the fourth studio album by American rock musician Lenny Kravitz, released in 1995 by Virgin Records. It reached number 10 on the Billboard 200 and number 5 on the UK Albums Chart, becoming Kravitz's first top 10 album in the US and second in the UK. As of March 2008, Circus has sold 534,000 units in the US.

Kravitz is quoted as saying that the making of the album was a very tedious process. He was unhappy with the music business at the time. Also, his mother's illness was weighing on his mind.

Circus (1936 film)
Circus (Russian: Цирк; translit. Tsirk) is a 1936 Soviet melodramatic comedy musical film. It was directed by Grigori Aleksandrov and Isidor Simkov at the Mosfilm studios. In his own words, it was conceived as "an eccentric comedy...a real side splitter."
Starring the glamorous and immensely popular Lyubov Orlova (Aleksandrov's wife), the first recognized star of Soviet cinema and a gifted singer, the film contains several songs which instantly became Soviet classics. The most famous is the "Song of the Motherland" (Широка страна моя родная).
The film was based on a comedy play by Ilf and Petrov and Valentin Kataev, Under the Circus Dome (Под куполом цирка), which was seen and liked by Aleksandrov. They made the play into the plot, but during the initial film shooting they went to America. Upon return, they disliked the director's interpretation, and after a conflict they abandoned the work, forbade the mention of their names in the credits, and further work on the plot was continued by Isaac Babel.
Days (The Kinks song)
"Days" is a song by The Kinks, written by lead singer Ray Davies, released as a single in 1968. It also appeared on an early version of the album The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society (released only in continental Europe and New Zealand), and now appears as a bonus track of the remastered CD. On the original Pye 7N 17573 label, the name of the song is "Day's".
Release and reception
The song was an important single for Davies and the Kinks, coming in a year of declining commercial fortunes for the band. The song had been intended as an album track but after the relative failure of the previous single "Wonderboy" (which only reached No. 36 in the UK), "Days" was rushed out as a single with an old unreleased track "She's Got Everything" (recorded in February 1966 in the same session as "Dedicated Follower of Fashion") as the B-side. It reached No. 12 on the UK chart, but failed to chart in the U.S. This did not help future releases however as the next four Kinks singles failed to reach the top 30 (two of them failing to chart altogether) in the UK.
