Zero Woman
Zero Woman (Japanese: ゼロウーマン) is a Japanese film and video exploitation series with ten entries dating from 1974 to 2007. The series chronicles the adventures of a woman Rei, who, working for a fictional Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department secret agency called Zero Division, goes undercover to infiltrate and assassinate drug kingpins, mercenaries, and various criminals and their henchmen. The original film may have been the inspiration for Luc Besson's 1990 film La Femme Nikita.
Series
Zero Woman: Red Handcuffs (０課の女 赤い手錠, Zeroka no onna: Akai wappa) was released by the Toei studio in May 1974. Along with Female Convict 701: Scorpion and its sequels, it was part of Toei's Pinky Violence series of sexploitation films made in response to the success of the Nikkatsu studio's Roman Porno titles. The film starred Miki Sugimoto as Rei who is released from prison to become the deadly assassin Zero Woman for a secret government agency. Also featured are Eiji Gō, Tetsurō Tamba, Hideo Murota and Yōko Mihara. The film was directed by Yukio Noda and like the Female Convict Scorpion series was based on a manga by Tōru Shinohara.

Eiji Gō
Eiji Gō (郷 鍈治, Gō Eiji, 29 May 1937 – 11 September 1992) was a Japanese actor. He appeared in more than sixty films from 1960 to 1982.
Career
Following his older brother, Jo Shishido, Gō joined the Nikkatsu studio in 1960 and made his film debut in The Warped Ones. He often played villains on both film and television. In 1978, he married the singer Naomi Chiaki and later retired from acting to run a talent agency.

Miki Sugimoto
Miki Sugimoto (杉本 美樹, Sugimoto Miki, January 28, 1953 –) is a Japanese actress best known for her roles in the sukeban (delinquent girl) subgenre of Toei's action/erotic form of "pink film" known as Pinky Violence.
Life and career
Sugimoto began her career as a model and television personality. She made her film debut in Hot Springs Mimizu Geisha (1971), which starred Reiko Ike. Sugimoto's and Ike's careers would become closely linked in several of Toei's Pinky Violent films, in which they were usually cast as rivals. In 1973, Sugimoto won one of the Newcomer of the Year Awards at the Élan d'or Awards given by the All Nippon Producers Association (ANPA).
Sugimoto's best-known solo role was in Zero Woman - Red Handcuffs, the "over-the-top" crime film from (1974). When Toei expanded into the European market in the 1970s, Sugimoto's 1973 film Girl Boss: Escape From Reform School was released by Telemondial in France as Girl Boss – Les etudiantes en caval. In 1978 she abandoned her film career for marriage, and later became a nursery school teacher.

The only horror Shunya Ito(Female Prisoner Scorpion series) ever did tethers at the border of avant-garde and high trash. A group of company men searching for Uranium ore, damage a local shrine dedicated to the Dog God. Mayhem ensues and a curse is upon them. Expect madness, possession, rabid murderous dogs, forced suicides and a totally chaotic plot. Historical note: The curses linked with local shrines in Japan go back to various attempt to reorganize and centralize the diverse and polymorphic cult of local spirits(kami) or the Yōkai (妖怪) supernatural beings, monsters, demons and. Yōkai often possessing animal characteristics. Local shrines used to be in each community, no matter how small and most of them stood in deep forests and were central to the life of those communities, offering both occasions for recreation and objects of worship. As part of increasing measures of centralization, control and forced modernization, the central government imposed "shrine consolidation regulation" under which shrines in a village or a town should be all merged into larger units. One of Japan's early environmentalist Minagata Kumagusu (1867-1941) was strongly opposing this merger, worrying that the consolidation would ruin not only historical buildings and antiquities, but by cutting trees, would also damage the natural surroundings and the scenery around them (plus the microorganisms living there - Minagata was a slime mold pioneer researcher). After protest letters (Minagata was himself arrested during the protests) and the failure of this campaign, in 1920s these measures stopped but lots of displacement and stories about curses due to the move of local deities ensued. -

The only horror Shunya Ito(Female Prisoner Scorpion series) ever did tethers at the border of avant-garde and high trash. A group of company men searching for Uranium ore, damage a local shrine dedicated to the Dog God. Mayhem ensues and a curse is upon them. Expect madness, possession, rabid murderous dogs, forced suicides and a totally chaotic plot.
Historical note: The curses linked with local shrines in Japan go back to various attempt to reorganize and centralize the diverse and polymorphic cult of local spirits(kami) or the Yōkai (妖怪) supernatural beings, monsters, demons and. Yōkai often possessing animal characteristics.
Local shrines used to be in each community, no matter how small and most of them stood in deep forests and were central to the life of those communities, offering both occasions for recreation and objects of worship. As part of increasing measures of centralization, control and forced modernization, the central government imposed "shrine consolidation regulation" under which shrines in a village or a town should be all merged into larger units. One of Japan's early environmentalist Minagata Kumagusu (1867-1941) was strongly opposing this merger, worrying that the consolidation would ruin not only historical buildings and antiquities, but by cutting trees, would also damage the natural surroundings and the scenery around them (plus the microorganisms living there - Minagata was a slime mold pioneer researcher). After protest letters (Minagata was himself arrested during the protests) and the failure of this campaign, in 1920s these measures stopped but lots of displacement and stories about curses due to the move of local deities ensued.

Aï, an elderly woman, lives in Tokyo with her granddaughter Natsuki. Then, Sako’s son, Wataru, the families black sheep, returns, and he too is under Ryuko’s spell, willing to jeopardize everything, his family and his life, to be with her.

The only horror Shunya Ito(Female Prisoner Scorpion series) ever did tethers at the border of avant-garde and high trash. A group of company men searching for Uranium ore, damage a local shrine dedicated to the Dog God. Mayhem ensues and a curse is upon them. Expect madness, possession, rabid murderous dogs, forced suicides and a totally chaotic plot.
Historical note: The curses linked with local shrines in Japan go back to various attempt to reorganize and centralize the diverse and polymorphic cult of local spirits(kami) or the Yōkai (妖怪) supernatural beings, monsters, demons and. Yōkai often possessing animal characteristics.
Local shrines used to be in each community, no matter how small and most of them stood in deep forests and were central to the life of those communities, offering both occasions for recreation and objects of worship. As part of increasing measures of centralization, control and forced modernization, the central government imposed "shrine consolidation regulation" under which shrines in a village or a town should be all merged into larger units. One of Japan's early environmentalist Minagata Kumagusu (1867-1941) was strongly opposing this merger, worrying that the consolidation would ruin not only historical buildings and antiquities, but by cutting trees, would also damage the natural surroundings and the scenery around them (plus the microorganisms living there - Minagata was a slime mold pioneer researcher). After protest letters (Minagata was himself arrested during the protests) and the failure of this campaign, in 1920s these measures stopped but lots of displacement and stories about curses due to the move of local deities ensued.
