Lima /ˈliːmə/ is the capital and the largest city of Peru. It is located in the valleys of the Chillón, Rímac and Lurín rivers, in the central coastal part of the country, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Together with the seaport of Callao, it forms a contiguous urban area known as the Lima Metropolitan Area. With a population of almost 10 million, Lima is the most populous metropolitan area of Peru, and the third largest city in the Americas (as defined by "city proper"), just behind São Paulo and Mexico City.
Lima was founded by Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro on January 18, 1535, as Ciudad de los Reyes. It became the capital and most important city in the Spanish Viceroyalty of Peru. Following the Peruvian War of Independence, it became the capital of the Republic of Peru. Today, around one-third of the Peruvian population lives in the metropolitan area.
Lima is home to one of the oldest higher learning institutions in the New World. The National University of San Marcos, founded on May 12 of 1551, during Spanish colonial regime, is the oldest continuously functioning university in the Americas.
"Natural Blues" is a song by American electronica musician Moby, released as the fifth single from his 1999 studio album Play. It samples "Trouble So Hard" by American folk singer Vera Hall. It was first released in the United Kingdom, where it peaked at number 11.
There are two different music videos for the song. One was directed by David LaChapelle and featured Christina Ricci and Fairuza Balk. It won MTV Europe Music Award for Best Video. It was nominated for The Best International video in the MuchMusic Video Awards.
The other is animated in the same style and with the same characters as in the music video for "Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?". It was animated and directed by Susi Wilkinson, Hotessa Laurence, and Filipe Alçada.
Santo Domingo (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈsanto ðoˈmiŋɡo] meaning "Saint Dominic"), officially Santo Domingo de Guzmán, is the capital and largest city in the Dominican Republic and the largest city in the Caribbean by population. The population of the city is of 1,506,233 by 2016 and of 3,891,788 when it's metropolitan area was included. The city lies within the boundaries of the Distrito Nacional ("D.N.", "National District"), itself bordered on three sides by Santo Domingo Province. It is also the second largest city in Central America, behind Guatemala City.
Founded by Bartholomew Columbus in 1496, on the east bank of the Ozama River and then moved by Nicolás de Ovando in 1502 to the west bank of the river, the city is the oldest continuously inhabited European settlement in the Americas, and was the first seat of the Spanish colonial rule in the New World. Santo Domingo is the site of the first university, cathedral, castle, monastery, and fortress in the New World. The city's Colonial Zone was declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Santo Domingo was called Ciudad Trujillo (Spanish pronunciation: [sjuˈðað tɾuˈhiʎo]), from 1936 to 1961, after the Dominican Republic's dictator, Rafael Trujillo, named the capital after himself. Following his assassination, the city resumed its original designation.

For Greyowl. :) Summary: My love is vengeance, that's never free. This is (primarily) a Season 4 Sam character study vid. I was drawn to this song because the lyrics seemed to tell Sam's angst and story so clearly. I kinda meta a little bit about the reasons why Sam made some of his choices. But this is also about Sam's loneliness and need for revenge. Also, I am aware Jared doesn't have blue eyes. I have taken artistic license here and interpreted the "blue" to mean sad. I hope you like it. No money has been or will be made, but comments are always gratefully and warmly accepted. Ash
https://www.expedia.com/Lima.d178277.Destination-Travel-Guides Lima gives access to the mystical city of Machu Picchu in the Andes, Lake Titicaca in the highlands, the lush Amazon jungle and Peru’s coastal desert. But, before you go to see all of this, it’s worth exploring the capital first. Just like Peru’s landscapes, Lima is a city of contrasts: rich and poor, ancient and modern, practical and elegant, fascinating and entertaining. In Lima’s Historic Center is the Plaza de Armas, also known as the Plaza Mayor. This is where the Spanish explorer founded Lima and the Lima Cathedral, contains the tomb of Francisco Pizarro. Next door, the Government Palace is still the official seat of government today. Outside of the city center are many more visitor attractions. The Bajada de los Baños...
When I think back to my time in Lima, Peru I have many distinct memories. Peruvian cuisine, a mix of coastal, jungle and Andean delights, pleased my ever discerning taste-buds as a gallivanted around the city trying all kinds of different Peruvian foods. Being based in Miraflores meant that I had access to some of the best restaurants in all of Lima along with coastal views of the Pacific ocean and many green spaces to explore.
oh lordy,
trouble so hard
oh lordy,
trouble so hard,
don't nobody know my troubles but God
went down the hill,
the other day
my soul got happy
and stayed all day
went in the room,
didn't stay long,
looked on the bed
