What’s up guys,
This video is really exciting to me personally because not only is it the second official release off of my dance mixtape “Adultlessons : The World’s First Dance Mixtape”…but it is ALSO the first feature off of the mixtape. Within it being a feature I looked at musicians and their collaborations and how they both adapt their style to usually meet somewhere in the middle for their collaborators music. I thought this was a great version of one of my choreography videos with the feeling of a Megan Batoon sketch, hence the “feat.” like musical artists. We are quite the team if you ask me…it’s just really fun.
I know that it’s literally only been a week since my last post and last time I kept you guys waiting for another 4 months before I posted something new but the stars were aligning for this video to happen when it did. I first found this artist one morning when I was looking for inspiration going back 2 or 3 years ago when he was playing at a coffeeshop I frequented around that time and I made sure to get his info so I could keep up to date with his music. When this song came to me there was no doubt in my mind that it was the right thing to do because nothing is more of maturing lesson in life than becoming a gentleman and treating not some but all women with respect.

Ian Eastwood Choreography | Asaiah Ziv & Xavier Omar
Very Proud of this video right here. I think it represents a moment in my life where I finally feel like a lot of time and effort i've put in to trying to learn more about what goes into making a good video is beginning to pay off. There are so many things that go in to planning, creating, and executing a video that I wish you all could know. But as stressful and overwhelming as it may be when you try and play a lot of roles in the production of a video I know it will make it that much easier for me when I get to work on bigger projects because I'm learning the base necessary skill sets and some vocabulary to help further me as just a director and choreographer in the future. In the mean time, coloring, editing, producing, and designing the lighting with my phenomenal DP Gerald will be a learning a process.
This piece itself captures how I felt one day/lately. I found this song on a discover weekly a few weeks ago in a car ride, came home, laid down the verse choreo taught it the next day and finished and shot the piece 4 days later. What I've been going for lately with my pieces is trying to capture my specific skill set and feeling at that time and then let it be. I think it will keep my material more fresh and give me more room to grow. One thing is for sure, theres always room to grow!

MAN. where do i begin with this video. i guess i'll start with the idea. a couple weeks out before urban paradise i got the honor of being asked to perform with my boys at the event by pat cruz and we all jumped on the opportunity. the only question was what we would do.
at some point i asked someone who's opinion i really respect and they challenged me to do something classic and timeless. specifically this marvin gaye song. seizing the challenge immediately i still knew the piece would need some type of a period or ending because the original song stays in the relaxed groove all the way till the end...i sat on this for a minute. then i remembered that since i had posted my choreography to lido's flip of the kanye album, lido and i had exchanged some messages about working together at some point but hadn't gotten around to it so i thought this might be the perfect opportunity. within a few days my new friend lido and i were chillin in a studio and kickin it around noho working on this mix from scratch. let me tell you something THIS MAN IS A PRODUCTION BEAST GENIUS. i felt like i've never made a beat in my life watching this dude fly through creating music. the work process of blending ideas of what i had and what he had was completely seamless. truly a dream come true for a choreographer...and trust me there will be more to come.
from there we still had to MAKE the piece itself with only 5 days before the event. since a lot of my normal young lions were booked or busy i assembled a team of a few OG young lions with a mix of brand NEW ones and gave it whirl. we created the dance from scratch that week and somehow all made it on that stage and made it happen. currently still pleasantly shocked at the result (sometimes i can bite off a little more than i can chew when it comes to work load hahaha). i'm so proud of these boys and so thankful to have Lido's time, effort, and NASTY contribution to what made this piece complete, and most of all i had SO MUCH FUN GETTING DOWN OUT THERE. Thank you Urban Paradise for hosting such a loving event. and thank you to Vibrancy for grabbing the footage. hopefully this may inspire one of you to do something you never thought you'd do before. lets keep this shit pushin.

Man... I have to be honest with you guys. I don't think I have ever been this proud & excited to ever drop a piece of work that so fully represents who I am as an artist.
This video came together in 3hrs of choreographing, 4hrs of rehearsal to teach/stage/clean my dancers, 2hrs of shooting, and 3hrs of my editing/coloring. And even though the amount of time that it takes me to work has never been less I've never felt more myself than what I feel like right now. At this moment in my life I feel the strongest and most capable I've ever felt.
I poured my heart in such a short time in so many ways on this video...and I did it on the hardest day that I've had to face in a long time. Two days ago my dog died and I had to fly home that morning to LA and go straight to rehearsal, I almost canceled not only rehearsal (where I still had to finish choreography, teach the boys, stage, & clean the choreography) but the entire shoot since we were supposed to be shooting the next day. But something in me...something inside where I felt no strength or energy pushed through and told me to get off my ass and do what I love. And that is why this video will always be so important to me. It caught such a important moment of my life and was sewn up and completed in such a short amount of time that I don't think I'll ever forget the roller coaster of emotions I've felt in these last couple days.
Thank you to my dancers & DP for being some of the most efficient workers on the planet to make what I dream come to life in such a highly skilled, professional, & short amount of time. I am forever grateful.

happy new year! (a month and a half late). had an absolutely crazy first month of the year. and coming off of a couple fun projects me and the boys had a lot of creative energy ready to release. we made this video from scratch (not one single move pre choreographed) in two rehearsals and one morning worth of finding a location. (shout out to Pam of the Pulse On Tour for providing us your space!)
We made this video with only a few hundred dollars and me spending a shit load of personal time learning these different skill sets like editing directing and coloring so that we don't have to wait on people to make this happen for us. you can just do it. we love what we do and i hope you can see that. always wanted to do this track since i bought the album when i was a kid but never thought i could do it justice, so glad i got to finally do it! happy valentine's day, spread some love today! and everyday!

VERY VERY proud of this piece right here. Listened to this song for the past three weeks while i've been traveling wanting to choreograph to it but never had time. I got back to LA after over a month of being gone and had four days before the performance. I had nothing done, I was thinking I might just do a demo of a piece I've already released like last year. But the past few months I have definitely been working super hard on being the best version of my self. I was originally supposed to land and start choreographing for a Kpop video that was due the day after my performance but it all got pushed back. So instead of using that time to move in and get settled in my new place (haha) i started this new piece from scratch and got this choreographed and staged in a workshop style with my phenomenal dancers in just over 6hrs spread out over 3 days. Shout out to my dancers for killing it with me and busting your asses to make this look so great and make me so proud. Ian Anthony Eastwood (born April 16, 1993) is a dancer, choreographer and director well known for being a member of the dance group Mos Wanted Crew who has also worked with Young Lions, Millennium Dance Center, Coastal Dance Rage, and Movement Lifestyle. He appeared on Dance Showdown and Return of the Superstars.

The Young Lions (1948) is a novel by Irwin Shaw about three soldiers in World War II.
Plot
Christian Diestl is at first a sympathetic German drawn to Nazism by despair for his future but willing to sacrifice Jews if necessary; Noah Ackerman is an American Jew facing discrimination of the American kind; and Michael Whitacre is an American WASP who struggles with his lack of meaning arising from his lack of struggles.
The three have very different wars: Diestl becomes less sympathetic as he willingly sacrifices more and more merely to survive; Ackerman finally overcomes the discrimination of his fellows in the army only to be nearly undone by the horror of the camps; Whitacre, still without meaning in his life, survives them both.
The novel
In a 1953 interview, Shaw commented, "what I was trying to do in The Young Lions was to show the world at a certain point in its history, its good and evil, and as many people as I could crowd into the book struggling through that world, trying to find some reason for trying to stay alive in it". He described the character of the German soldier Christian: "I wanted to show how a man can start out decent, intelligent, well meaning, as so many people in Germany must have been, even in the greatest days of Nazism – and wind up bestialized, almost bereft of humanity, almost dead to the instincts of survival even, as the Germans finally were, by believing in one false thing, which spreads and spreads and finally corrupts them entirely".

And even though the amount of time that it takes me to work has never been less I've never felt more myself than what I feel like right now. At this moment in my life I feel the strongest and most capable I've ever felt. I poured my heart in such a short time in so many ways on this video...and I did it on the hardest day that I've had to face in a long time. Two days ago my dog died and I had to fly home that morning to LA and go straight to rehearsal, I almost canceled not only rehearsal (where I still had to finish choreography, teach the boys, stage, & clean the choreography) but the entire shoot since we were supposed to be shooting the next day. But something in me...something inside where I felt no strength or energy pushed through and told me to get off my ass and do what I love. And that is why this video will always be so important to me. It caught such a important moment of my life and was sewn up and completed in such a short amount of time that I don't think I'll ever forget the roller coaster of emotions I've felt in these last couple days. Thank you to my dancers & DP for being some of the most efficient workers on the planet to make what I dream come to life in such a highly skilled, professional, & short amount of time. (a month and a half late). had an absolutely crazy first month of the year. and coming off of a couple fun projects me and the boys had a lot of creative energy ready to release. we made this video from scratch (not one single move pre choreographed) in two rehearsals and one morning worth of finding a location. VERY VERY proud of this piece right here. Listened to this song for the past three weeks while i've been traveling wanting to choreograph to it but never had time. I got back to LA after over a month of being gone and had four days before the performance. I had nothing done, I was thinking I might just do a demo of a piece I've already released like last year. But the past few months I have definitely been working super hard on being the best version of my self. I was originally supposed to land and start choreographing for a Kpop video that was due the day after my performance but it all got pushed back. So instead of using that time to move in and get settled in my new place (haha) i started this new piece from scratch and got this choreographed and staged in a workshop style with my phenomenal dancers in just over 6hrs spread out over 3 days. What’s up guys, This video is really exciting to me personally because not only is it the second official release off of my dance mixtape “Adultlessons : The World’s First Dance Mixtape”…but it is ALSO the first feature off of the mixtape. Within it being a feature I looked at musicians and their collaborations and how they both adapt their style to usually meet somewhere in the middle for their collaborators music. I thought this was a great version of one of my choreography videos with the feeling of a Megan Batoon sketch, hence the “feat.” like musical artists. We are quite the team if you ask me…it’s just really fun. MAN. where do i begin with this video. i guess i'll start with the idea. a couple weeks out before urban paradise i got the honor of being asked to perform with my boys at the event by pat cruz and we all jumped on the opportunity. the only question was what we would do. at some point i asked someone who's opinion i really respect and they challenged me to do something classic and timeless. specifically this marvin gaye song. seizing the challenge immediately i still knew the piece would need some type of a period or ending because the original song stays in the relaxed groove all the way till the end...i sat on this for a minute. then i remembered that since i had posted my choreography to lido's flip of the kanye album, lido and i had exchanged some messages about working together at so...

This video is really exciting to me personally because not only is it the second official release off of my dance mixtape “Adultlessons : The World’s First Dance Mixtape”…but it is ALSO the first feature off of the mixtape. Within it being a feature I looked at musicians and their collaborations and how they both adapt their style to usually meet somewhere in the middle for their collaborators music. I thought this was a great version of one of my choreography videos with the feeling of a Megan Batoon sketch, hence the “feat.” like musical artists. We are quite the team if you ask me…it’s just really fun.
I know that it’s literally only been a week since my last post and last time I kept you guys waiting for another 4 months before I posted something new but the stars were aligning for this video to happen when it did. I first found this artist one morning when I was looking for inspiration going back 2 or 3 years ago when he was playing at a coffeeshop I frequented around that time and I made sure to get his info so I could keep up to date with his music. When this song came to me there was no doubt in my mind that it was the right thing to do because nothing is more of maturing lesson in life than becoming a gentleman and treating not some but all women with respect.
Special thanks to Jonathan Shih and Gerald Nonato for their cinematography, Jon for coloring, Megan for dancing with me (and everything we did to make this video happen), Trevor for the AMAZING music, and of course to Dance On & Jamba Juice for making this video possible.

Very Proud of this video right here. I think it represents a moment in my life where I finally feel like a lot of time and effort i've put in to trying to learn more about what goes into making a good video is beginning to pay off. There are so many things that go in to planning, creating, and executing a video that I wish you all could know. This piece itself captures how I felt one day/lately. I found this song on a discover weekly a few weeks ago in a car ride, came home, laid down the verse choreo taught it the next day and finished and shot the piece 4 days later. What I've been going for lately with my pieces is trying to capture my specific skill set and feeling at that time and then let it be. I think it will keep my material more fresh and give me more room to grow. One thing is for sure, theres always room to grow!

at some point i asked someone who's opinion i really respect and they challenged me to do something classic and timeless. specifically this marvin gaye song. seizing the challenge immediately i still knew the piece would need some type of a period or ending because the original song stays in the relaxed groove all the way till the end...i sat on this for a minute. then i remembered that since i had posted my choreography to lido's flip of the kanye album, lido and i had exchanged some messages about working together at some point but hadn't gotten around to it so i thought this might be the perfect opportunity. within a few days my new friend lido and i were chillin in a studio and kickin it around noho working on this mix from scratch. let me tell you something THIS MAN IS A PRODUCTION BEAST GENIUS. i felt like i've never made a beat in my life watching this dude fly through creating music. the work process of blending ideas of what i had and what he had was completely seamless. truly a dream come true for a choreographer...and trust me there will be more to come.
from there we still had to MAKE the piece itself with only 5 days before the event. since a lot of my normal young lions were booked or busy i assembled a team of a few OG young lions with a mix of brand NEW ones and gave it whirl. we created the dance from scratch that week and somehow all made it on that stage and made it happen. currently still pleasantly shocked at the result (sometimes i can bite off a little more than i can chew when it comes to work load hahaha). i'm so proud of these boys and so thankful to have Lido's time, effort, and NASTY contribution to what made this piece complete, and most of all i had SO MUCH FUN GETTING DOWN OUT THERE. Thank you Urban Paradise for hosting such a loving event. and thank you to Vibrancy for grabbing the footage. hopefully this may inspire one of you to do something you never thought you'd do before. lets keep this shit pushin.

at some point i asked someone who's opinion i really respect and they challenged me to do something classic and timeless. specifically this marvin gaye song. seizing the challenge immediately i still knew the piece would need some type of a period or ending because the original song stays in the relaxed groove all the way till the end...i sat on this for a minute. then i remembered that since i had posted my choreography to lido's flip of the kanye album, lido and i had exchanged some messages about working together at some point but hadn't gotten around to it so i thought this might be the perfect opportunity. within a few days my new friend lido and i were chillin in a studio and kickin it around noho working on this mix from scratch. let me tell you something THIS MAN IS A PRODUCTION BEAST GENIUS. i felt like i've never made a beat in my life watching this dude fly through creating music. the work process of blending ideas of what i had and what he had was completely seamless. truly a dream come true for a choreographer...and trust me there will be more to come.
from there we still had to MAKE the piece itself with only 5 days before the event. since a lot of my normal young lions were booked or busy i assembled a team of a few OG young lions with a mix of brand NEW ones and gave it whirl. we created the dance from scratch that week and somehow all made it on that stage and made it happen. currently still pleasantly shocked at the result (sometimes i can bite off a little more than i can chew when it comes to work load hahaha). i'm so proud of these boys and so thankful to have Lido's time, effort, and NASTY contribution to what made this piece complete, and most of all i had SO MUCH FUN GETTING DOWN OUT THERE. Thank you Urban Paradise for hosting such a loving event. and thank you to Vibrancy for grabbing the footage. hopefully this may inspire one of you to do something you never thought you'd do before. lets keep this shit pushin.

Man... I have to be honest with you guys. I don't think I have ever been this proud & excited to ever drop a piece of work that so fully represents who I am as an artist.
This video came together in 3hrs of choreographing, 4hrs of rehearsal to teach/stage/clean my dancers, 2hrs of shooting, and 3hrs of my editing/coloring. And even though the amount of time that it takes me to work has never been less I've never felt more myself than what I feel like right now. At this moment in my life I feel the strongest and most capable I've ever felt.
I poured my heart in such a short time in so many ways on this video...and I did it on the hardest day that I've had to face in a long time. Two days ago my dog died and I had to fly home that morning to LA and go straight to rehearsal, I almost canceled not only rehearsal (where I still had to finish choreography, teach the boys, stage, & clean the choreography) but the entire shoot since we were supposed to be shooting the next day. But something in me...something inside where I felt no strength or energy pushed through and told me to get off my ass and do what I love. And that is why this video will always be so important to me. It caught such a important moment of my life and was sewn up and completed in such a short amount of time that I don't think I'll ever forget the roller coaster of emotions I've felt in these last couple days.
Thank you to my dancers & DP for being some of the most efficient workers on the planet to make what I dream come to life in such a highly skilled, professional, & short amount of time. I am forever grateful.

(a month and a half late). had an absolutely crazy first month of the year. and coming off of a couple fun projects me and the boys had a lot of creative energy ready to release. we made this video from scratch (not one single move pre choreographed) in two rehearsals and one morning worth of finding a location. (shout out to Pam of the Pulse On Tour for providing us your space!)
We made this video with only a few hundred dollars and me spending a shit load of personal time learning these different skill sets like editing directing and coloring so that we don't have to wait on people to make this happen for us. you can just do it. we love what we do and i hope you can see that. always wanted to do this track since i bought the album when i was a kid but never thought i could do it justice, so glad i got to finally do it! happy valentine's day, spread some love today! and everyday!

VERY VERY proud of this piece right here. Listened to this song for the past three weeks while i've been traveling wanting to choreograph to it but never had time. I got back to LA after over a month of being gone and had four days before the performance. I had nothing done, I was thinking I might just do a demo of a piece I've already released like last year. But the past few months I have definitely been working super hard on being the best version of my self. I was originally supposed to land and start choreographing for a Kpop video that was due the day after my performance but it all got pushed back. So instead of using that time to move in and get settled in my new place (haha) i started this new piece from scratch and got this choreographed and staged in a workshop style with my phenomenal dancers in just over 6hrs spread out over 3 days. Shout out to my dancers for killing it with me and busting your asses to make this look so great and make me so proud. Ian is a 23 year old dancer, choreographer and director from Chicago, IL. The son of two artists, Ian grew up with a strong influence from the local arts community. He started dancing at a young age, and at 13 he created his first YouTube channel featuring his dancing and choreography. His channel quickly grew, and by the time he was 16, Ian was traveling the world teaching dance. Ian is a 23 year old dancer, choreographer and director from Chicago, IL. The son of two artists, Ian grew up with a strong influence from the local arts community. He started dancing at a young age, and at 13 he created his first YouTube channel featuring his dancing and choreography. His channel quickly grew, and by the time he was 16, Ian was traveling the world teaching dance. After graduating high school, Ian pursued his dream of moving out to California and is now dancing, choreographing and directing live performances and music videos for artists like Justin Bieber, Tori Kelly, Vic Mensa, Chance The Rapper, Zendaya and the American Music Awards!

Mani Nasry an exceptionally talented filmmaker, actor and artist with a sophisticated breadth of education, skills, experience, and professional accomplishments. He trained as an actor and director in New York with Salem Ludwig and with Donna DeMatteo for playwriting. For Mani, the decision to work in the film industry guided his academic decisions from an early age. He attended a Toronto high school renowned for excellence in the arts, and was accepted into one of the highly competitive film program at Ryerson university. It is notable that he went to Ryerson with an already well-established career in theatre, film, television and commercial work, and a range of multi-faceted achievements including producing, cinematography, casting, writing, directing, acting, and editing. With courses perceptively, he has also recognized the importance of acquiring an understanding of the business side of the industry, and the varied aspects of technology and production. Mani Nasry an exceptionally talented filmmaker, actor and artist with a sophisticated breadth of education, skills, experience, and professional accomplishments. He trained as an actor and director in New York with Salem Ludwig and with Donna DeMatteo for playwriting. For Mani, the decision to work in the film industry guided his academic decisions from an early age. He attended a Toronto high school renowned for excellence in the arts, and was accepted into one of the highly competitive film program at Ryerson university. It is notable that he went to Ryerson with an already well-established career in theatre, film, television and commercial work, and a range of multi-faceted achievements including producing, cinematography, casting, writing, directing, acting, and editing. On his own he added stints in New York and Los Angeles with leading acting teachers, as well as learning the grace and style of many forms of dance and athletics. With courses perceptively, he has also recognized the importance of acquiring an understanding of the business side of the industry, and the varied aspects of technology and production. There are some people clearly born to follow the path they have chosen from the start. Mani Nasry has the passion to succeed, the curiosity and ingenuity required to lead and collaborate in an industry known for its impact and appeal, and the strength of character and work ethic to immerse himself in finding and telling an unforgettable story.

What’s up guys, This video is really exciting to me personally because not only is it the second official release off of my dance mixtape “Adultlessons : The World’s First Dance Mixtape”…but it is ALSO the first feature off of the mixtape. Within it being a feature I looked at musicians and their collaborations and how they both adapt their style to usually meet somewhere in the middle for their collaborators music. I thought this was a great version of one of my choreography videos with the feeling of a Megan Batoon sketch, hence the “feat.” like musical artists. MAN. where do i begin with this video. i guess i'll start with the idea. a couple weeks out before urban paradise i got the honor of being asked to perform with my boys at the event by pat cruz and we all jumped on the opportunity. the only question was what we would do. at some point i asked someone who's opinion i really respect and they challenged me to do something classic and timeless. specifically this marvin gaye song. seizing the challenge immediately i still knew the piece would need some type of a period or ending because the original song stays in the relaxed groove all the way till the end...i sat on this for a minute. then i remembered that since i had posted my choreography to lido's flip of the kanye album, lido and i had exchanged some messages about working together at so...

Man... I have to be honest with you guys. I don't think I have ever been this proud & excited to ever drop a piece of work that so fully represents who I am as an artist. This video came together in 3hrs of choreographing, 4hrs of rehearsal to teach/stage/clean my dancers, 2hrs of shooting, and 3hrs of my editing/coloring. And even though the amount of time that it takes me to work has never been less I've never felt more myself than what I feel like right now. This video is really exciting to me personally because not only is it the second official release off of my dance mixtape “Adultlessons : The World’s First Dance Mixtape”…but it is ALSO the first feature off of the mixtape. Within it being a feature I looked at musicians and their collaborations and how they both adapt their style to usually meet somewhere in the middle for their collaborators music. I thought this was a great version of one of my choreography videos with the feeling of a Megan Batoon sketch, hence the “feat.” like musical artists. We are quite the team if you ask me…it’s just really fun.
I know that it’s literally only been a week since my last post and last time I kept you guys waiting for another 4 months before I posted something new but the stars were aligning for this video to happen when it did. I first found this artist one morning when I was looking for inspiration going back 2 or 3 years ago when he was playing at a coffeeshop I frequented around that time and I made sure to get his info so I could keep up to date with his music. When this song came to me there was no doubt in my mind that it was the right thing to do because nothing is more of maturing lesson in life than becoming a gentleman and treating not some but all women with respect.
Special thanks to Jonathan Shih and Gerald Nonato for their cinematography, Jon for coloring, Megan for dancing with me (and everything we did to make this video happen), Trevor for the AMAZING music, and of course to Dance On & Jamba Juice for making this video possible.

Ian Eastwood Choreography | Asaiah Ziv & Xavier Omar
Very Proud of this video right here. I think it represents a moment in my life where I finally feel like a lot of time and effort i've put in to trying to learn more about what goes into making a good video is beginning to pay off. There are so many things that go in to planning, creating, and executing a video that I wish you all could know. But as stressful and overwhelming as it may be when you try and play a lot of roles in the production of a video I know it will make it that much easier for me when I get to work on bigger projects because I'm learning the base necessary skill sets and some vocabulary to help further me as just a director and choreographer in the future. In the mean time, coloring, editing, producing, and designing the lighting with my phenomenal DP Gerald will be a learning a process.
This piece itself captures how I felt one day/lately. I found this song on a discover weekly a few weeks ago in a car ride, came home, laid down the verse choreo taught it the next day and finished and shot the piece 4 days later. What I've been going for lately with my pieces is trying to capture my specific skill set and feeling at that time and then let it be. I think it will keep my material more fresh and give me more room to grow. One thing is for sure, theres always room to grow!

MAN. where do i begin with this video. i guess i'll start with the idea. a couple weeks out before urban paradise i got the honor of being asked to perform with my boys at the event by pat cruz and we all jumped on the opportunity. the only question was what we would do.
at some point i asked someone who's opinion i really respect and they challenged me to do something classic and timeless. specifically this marvin gaye song. seizing the challenge immediately i still knew the piece would need some type of a period or ending because the original song stays in the relaxed groove all the way till the end...i sat on this for a minute. then i remembered that since i had posted my choreography to lido's flip of the kanye album, lido and i had exchanged some messages about working together at some point but hadn't gotten around to it so i thought this might be the perfect opportunity. within a few days my new friend lido and i were chillin in a studio and kickin it around noho working on this mix from scratch. let me tell you something THIS MAN IS A PRODUCTION BEAST GENIUS. i felt like i've never made a beat in my life watching this dude fly through creating music. the work process of blending ideas of what i had and what he had was completely seamless. truly a dream come true for a choreographer...and trust me there will be more to come.
from there we still had to MAKE the piece itself with only 5 days before the event. since a lot of my normal young lions were booked or busy i assembled a team of a few OG young lions with a mix of brand NEW ones and gave it whirl. we created the dance from scratch that week and somehow all made it on that stage and made it happen. currently still pleasantly shocked at the result (sometimes i can bite off a little more than i can chew when it comes to work load hahaha). i'm so proud of these boys and so thankful to have Lido's time, effort, and NASTY contribution to what made this piece complete, and most of all i had SO MUCH FUN GETTING DOWN OUT THERE. Thank you Urban Paradise for hosting such a loving event. and thank you to Vibrancy for grabbing the footage. hopefully this may inspire one of you to do something you never thought you'd do before. lets keep this shit pushin.

Man... I have to be honest with you guys. I don't think I have ever been this proud & excited to ever drop a piece of work that so fully represents who I am as an artist.
This video came together in 3hrs of choreographing, 4hrs of rehearsal to teach/stage/clean my dancers, 2hrs of shooting, and 3hrs of my editing/coloring. And even though the amount of time that it takes me to work has never been less I've never felt more myself than what I feel like right now. At this moment in my life I feel the strongest and most capable I've ever felt.
I poured my heart in such a short time in so many ways on this video...and I did it on the hardest day that I've had to face in a long time. Two days ago my dog died and I had to fly home that morning to LA and go straight to rehearsal, I almost canceled not only rehearsal (where I still had to finish choreography, teach the boys, stage, & clean the choreography) but the entire shoot since we were supposed to be shooting the next day. But something in me...something inside where I felt no strength or energy pushed through and told me to get off my ass and do what I love. And that is why this video will always be so important to me. It caught such a important moment of my life and was sewn up and completed in such a short amount of time that I don't think I'll ever forget the roller coaster of emotions I've felt in these last couple days.
Thank you to my dancers & DP for being some of the most efficient workers on the planet to make what I dream come to life in such a highly skilled, professional, & short amount of time. I am forever grateful.

(a month and a half late). had an absolutely crazy first month of the year. and coming off of a couple fun projects me and the boys had a lot of creative energy ready to release. we made this video from scratch (not one single move pre choreographed) in two rehearsals and one morning worth of finding a location. (shout out to Pam of the Pulse On Tour for providing us your space!)
We made this video with only a few hundred dollars and me spending a shit load of personal time learning these different skill sets like editing directing and coloring so that we don't have to wait on people to make this happen for us. you can just do it. we love what we do and i hope you can see that. always wanted to do this track since i bought the album when i was a kid but never thought i could do it justice, so glad i got to finally do it! happy valentine's day, spread some love today! and everyday!

VERY VERY proud of this piece right here. Listened to this song for the past three weeks while i've been traveling wanting to choreograph to it but never had time. I got back to LA after over a month of being gone and had four days before the performance. I had nothing done, I was thinking I might just do a demo of a piece I've already released like last year. But the past few months I have definitely been working super hard on being the best version of my self. I was originally supposed to land and start choreographing for a Kpop video that was due the day after my performance but it all got pushed back. So instead of using that time to move in and get settled in my new place (haha) i started this new piece from scratch and got this choreographed and staged in a workshop style with my phenomenal dancers in just over 6hrs spread out over 3 days. Shout out to my dancers for killing it with me and busting your asses to make this look so great and make me so proud.
