Rosh Hanikra (Hebrew: רֹאשׁ הַנִּקְרָה, lit. Head of the Grottoes) may refer to:
Coordinates: 31°N 35°E / 31°N 35°E / 31; 35
Israel (/ˈɪzreɪəl/ or /ˈɪzriːəl/; Hebrew: יִשְׂרָאֵל Yisrā'el; Arabic: إِسْرَائِيل Isrāʼīl), officially the State of Israel (Hebrew: מְדִינַת יִשְׂרָאֵל Medīnat Yisrā'el [mediˈnat jisʁaˈʔel]; Arabic: دولة إِسْرَائِيل Dawlat Isrāʼīl [dawlat ʔisraːˈʔiːl]), is a country in the Middle East, situated at the southeastern shore of the Mediterranean Sea and the northern shore of the Gulf of Aqaba in the Red Sea. It shares land borders with Lebanon to the north, Syria in the northeast, Jordan on the east, the Palestinian territories (which are claimed by the State of Palestine and are partially controlled by Israel) comprising the West Bank and Gaza Strip to the east and west, respectively, and Egypt to the southwest. It contains geographically diverse features within its relatively small area. Israel's financial and technology center is Tel Aviv, while Jerusalem is both its self-designated capital (unrecognised by the United Nations) and its most populous individual city under the country's governmental administration. Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem is internationally disputed.
From the cliffs of the site we can see the north coast Naharia Akko and Haifa . going down to the sea level by a cable car and entering the grottos diged and created by the sea waves.

Located on the Mediterranean coast at the border with Lebanon. The gleaming white cliffs of Rosh Hanikra and the beautiful stretch of beach below are a magnificent sight to behold. Cable-car in two-minute brings you down the 210-foot cliff.
http://www.twitter.com/israel Previously hidden to all but the most experienced divers, the grottoes at Rosh HaNikra are now accessible to any visitor due to the new cable car. Located on the Mediterranean coast in the Western Galilee, on Israel's northwest tip, the natural caves and artificial tunnels are a magical site. As the wave rush in and out of the caverns, they create a sound-and-light of water and shadow. The ride down the white cliffs of Rosh HaNikra, on one of the steepest cable cars in the world, is short but the views are unforgettable. --- Visit the MFA's Social Media Channels: Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/IsraelMFA http://www.facebook.com/IsraeliVibe Twitter - http://www.twitter.com/Israel http://www.twitter.com/IsraelMFA Find us on Instagram: @IsraelMFA - http:...
