E. Alyn Warren

E. Alyn Warren (June 2, 1874 – January 22, 1940) was an American actor. He appeared in 99 films between 1915 and 1940. In some early silent films he was credited as Fred Warren or E. A. Warren. He was born in Richmond, Virginia and died in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles.

Revolt of the Zombies

Revolt of the Zombies is a 1936 American horror film directed and produced by the Halperin Brothers which stars Dean Jagger and Dorothy Stone. It is one of the earliest zombie films. Although it was conceived as a loose sequel to Victor Halperin's moderately successful 1932 film White Zombie, when compared with Halperin's previous work, this film is generally regarded as a disappointment. Although he is not credited in the film, Bela Lugosi's eyes appear in Revolt of the Zombies whenever zombifying-powers are used; it is the same image of Lugosi's eyes used in the film White Zombie. Revolt of the Zombies is in the public domain, and can be copied or distributed without regard to copyright law.

Plot

On the Franco-Austrian Frontier during World War I, an Oriental priest, chaplain of a French colonial regiment, is condemned to life imprisonment because he possesses the power to turn men into zombies. In his prison cell, the priest prepares to burn a parchment containing the location of the secret formula. Gen. Mazovia (Roy D'Arcy) kills the priest and takes the partially burned parchment. After the war, an expedition of representatives from the Allied countries with colonial interests are sent to Cambodia to find and destroy forever the so-called "Secret of the Zombies". The group includes Colonel Mazovia; a student of dead languages, Armand Louque (Dean Jagger); Englishman Clifford Grayson (Robert Noland); General Duval (George Cleveland); and his daughter Claire (Dorothy Stone).

Jeanne Jolly is a singer/songwriter from Raleigh, North Carolina, who first gained fame as a featured vocalist for Grammy Award winning jazz trumpeter Chris Botti. Jolly has performed with several symphonies, at Carnegie Hall in New York City, and at the Monterey Jazz Festival in California.

Jolly attended Saint Mary's School in Raleigh and then Western Carolina University. She graduated with a master's degree in classical voice from the New England Conservatory of Music.

Jolly was featured on the June 29, 2012, episode of WUNC's The State of Things with Frank Stasio discussing her upcoming album and her mother's death to cancer. On October 2, 2012, Jolly released her first full-length album, Angels, on Foreign Exchange Music. It was produced entirely by The Foreign Exchange collaborator Chris Boerner.

On October 11, 2014 Jeanne married her longtime love, Todd McLean, in a simple ceremony in Emerald Isle, North Carolina.

Hard Way

Hard Way is the eighth album of the Japanese hard rock band Show-Ya. The album was recorded in Los Angeles, USA and produced by Beau Hill and by Kip Winger's brother Paul. It was released on 24 October 1990 and reached position No. 4 in Japan (Oricon Chart). All the lyrics were written by Yoshihiko Andō. This time all the musical arrangements were done by the band. It would be Show-Ya's last studio album with lead singer Keiko Terada. The track "Uchi ni Kaerou" was used as theme song for the anime OVA Cleopatra DC.
